I went in because I needed help getting a piece jewelry back in a cartilage piercing. I have no bad things to say as far as the services rendered or environment I will however say I did not expect to have to pay $25 for her to pop my stud back in - yikes! If I had realized this before coming I may have shopped around a bit more but as it was I have no complaints and if it is within your price point I would definitely recommend!

I had an hour slot booked where I wanted to do a couple smaller memorial tattoos in memory of my mother who passed from ovarian cancer. The nice thing is, I had changed my mind a bit since showing the initial proof to Zion Tattoo when I initially booked. Travis was totally fine with it and adjusted to my wants. I also appreciated how he added his input on my ideas to ensure they looked good upon completion. I was there for about 45 minutes, everything was fast and inclusive. It was an amazing experience in a clean and comfortable environment and I appreciated how Travis kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing alright and was just very personable. He takes pride in his work and I'd definitely recommend Travis at Zion as an artist and one who especially pays attention to detail - even the smaller detail tattoos - and I will definitely be returning again for more!

A friend of mine had gotten inked here before, so when I was visiting we spur-of-the-moment decided to go back and walk in to see if we could get another, since she had enjoyed her first experience so much. That's also nice- you can walk in a lot of days here and get tattooed. Since covid that can be hit or miss to come by, and having to set an appointment can be such a pain. So, we walked in and they told us (3 of us wanting to get tatted, by the way) to come back in an hour and they'd squeeze us in, and that's exactly what they did. We all got tattooed by 3 different artists, and it was such a fun time. Everyone in the shop is super laid back and just enjoying the vibes and you could feel it. Mitch worked on my tattoo, and he drew up such a beautiful design I couldn't even believe it, but it was the truth. He was so good at listening to what I wanted and making it come to life, even with just a walk-in, smaller scale tat. I really enjoyed Mitch, he was funny and so charismatic and made the entire experience that much better. One bad thing about the Truth is that they are pretty terrible at answering the phone, so if you call don't expect someone to pick up. You have to find their Google Doc sheet to send a request for an appointment and that's your best bet to get set up there if you don't go in person. We really loved our visit to the Truth Tattoos, and truthfully we will most likely be back at some point because we can't lie and say we didn't cherish our time and now forever inked skin, that's the facts.

I wanted some small tattoos on my hand and fingers that I've been wanting for years but kept putting off. Other shops in the area were quoting me very high prices and couldn't get the style right or would deny me due to the location of tattoos. When I went to The Truth Tattoos, I was greeted right away, multiple artists stepped up to see what my vision was and quoted me an amazing price. Lex was my artist, and she was seriously the best --super chill, confident, and nailed my vision on the first sketch. I even let her freehand some parts, that's how much I trusted her. The whole experience was smooth, quick, comfortable and good vibes. Definitely found my go-to shop, and I'll be sending people their way for sure!

The first time, I had my husband's name tatted on my inner wrist. (Yes, he also got my name on his wrist. We've been together 20+ years so we figured by now, we are safe from suffering the "Getting lover's name tattoo and promptly breaking up" curse.) I knew from that first tattoo that it wouldn't be my last. As Hung said, "you'll be back more". My husband is also thinking of his second one. I lost a beloved pet last year in the most devastating and traumatic way. I have been thinking of how to honor him (and our other kitties) to show my gratitude for their lives spent at my side. I decided on one that I knew I would be happy carrying for life and that would embody the feelings that I feel. I'm happy that I waited until now, because tattoos are so personal and mine hold such meanings to me. Hung delivered again. I, being over the ripe old age of ;), was acting a little "neurotic"and sent Hung a bazillion images of my cat and my drawings. He was so patient with me. He took my drawing and perfected it and then went to work. He is simply the best artist out here in Minnesota and if you look at his past work you'll clearly see why. And if that doesn't quite convince him, read his past 5 star reviews. Yeah! Trust me! Get yours with him or with Trish! I promise you that won't be disappointed. 5 star all the way!

ANNA. ^ I saved…read morethat as a draft on April 3, 2026 when I came here. Short summary: Called same-day & Anna was available; texted a text design (one script line + one monospaced line) that I drafted on my phone; was able to come in asap (our hotel was 10 mins away); Anna is super cool to talk to & the tattoo was not only affordable but came out perfect, healed very well, & I will definitively return next time I'm in Minneapolis bc I love this place so much. Story: Soooo I visited MN for a concert & knew I was going to hit up a tattoo parlour. I wrote the top line of my tattoo 5+ years ago, and the second line when I was an adolescent. I'm obsessed w getting tattoos in cities I visit as "souvenirs," but I didn't have the idea to combine these 2 lines into 1 piece until literally that morning. I searched on Yelp (obv) for tattoo places & rly liked the reviews for Guns N' Needles Tattoo. Called, sent my design (which wasn't perfectly centered), and Anna had it fixed + printed prior to my arrival. One of her size options was larger than I envisioned it, and I immediately LOVED it (location: left inner wrist). Anna is so cool to talk to; the time flew by & it honestly felt like I was only there for 3 mins (it was longer than that.) But still quick. An hr at most. I'm so ecstatic that she had printed out the larger version of it bc now the top line (which is in a cursive font I chose) spans my entire wrist & feels even more self-defining. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Verrrrrry clean, organized place. They played some Deftones songs. I kept saying, "Omg I love this song." I don't really know what more you can ask. We parked on the adjacent street. She was so sweet & I felt confident that I could voice any concerns if there were any, etc. Anna gave me printed aftercare instructions and her contact info; my tattoo healed perfectly. I have to say again, I would absolutely return here--in fact, I really hope I get a chance to!!! Thank youuuuuuu!

I even sent a photo of what I wanted and the guy said yes we can do it even with a quote and all . It was a very big disappointment .Because they wasted my time, energy and were rude about it as well .They could've at least just called me the day before and say that the tattoo was too challenging or something. In the end, I got it done, but I got it done at a better shop. I just will never give this place to business because of their lack of professionalism in keeping appointments and not giving enough time if they can't do it they should've called ahead of time to cancel if they needed to. They were not mindful of my time and schedule. therefore, I would not give them my time and money. I would go somewhere else.
