After the chain was put on I noticed the thickness was substantially different compared to the one they put on originally a few months ago. On-top of that, the chain they put on had a master link... for a liter bike. The chain I ordered myself from the same kit they supposedly got had to be riveted in, unlike the master link from whatever chain they put on. My guess is they did order the Vortex sprocket combo ONLY. And threw on whatever cheap bs they had lying around or ordered some cheap bs. The chain that broke and was put on by them was 100% not rated for 1000cc. $600 for a pos chain and a sprocket conversion (i dropped front sprocket teeth count) Without the proper chain to support the conversion. Avoid at all cost

As soon as I reached out to them, they told me to just bring her in. No booking an appt a week or 2 out or ripping me off for extra crap. For that I'm grateful. When I bright my bike in, David started working on it immediately and my keys were back hanging from my belt loop and kickstand up within an hour or so. Don't waste your time calling around to other local shops or dealerships. Skip the bs and just bring your bike to these guys! ** I moved back into the area and needed a solid local shop to take my Harley for service and repair. Steel Knuckle has great reviews so I gave them a go. I spoke with David by phone and he was able to call me back within an hour with a quote on a rear tire. SK's prices are waaaay more competitive than going to the HD Dealership (but that's just a given, as HD has no problem giving it to you right where the sun don't shine every time). They're also a little cheaper than the other local shops that I called. My tire was ordered the same day that I spoke to David, and 2 days later I was in the shop having it put on. This shop is great. They clearly do a lot of work for the bikers in the Palm Beach area, as There were all kinds of rides inside. Some of the customs and paint jobs in that place are bad ass! All the guys were chill and super cool to chat with while I waited for my bike. I was back on the road within an hour of arriving. I will definitely be bringing my bike to these guys for my servicing and repair needs. Thanks to all of you for taking care of my girl.

I'm over in west Coast and I've been looking for a Yamaha Niken, these are a bit on the rare side. The ones that are available somewhat nearby cost an arm and a leg. This place has the bike (or so it seems) Made the call and talked to Steve on 10/27, who said it is available and I would need to put $1000 deposit (which seems a bit high but whatever) I put in the deposit via CC the next day. The wiring was sent on 11/1 and they confirmed they received all the funds on 11/2. I've got the Bill of Sale and Release of Liability on that day. I'm thinking I've got the bike now I just need to find someone to pick it up for me. I've asked Steve when I can pick up the bike and he said "anytime" but sent me to a different address (In Plant City) which was near an Auction house (That should of been a red flag) I didn't think too much of it back then. I used uShip and was able to find someone who was able to go pick it up on 11/8 Monday. As he was on his way there I informed Steve about the pickup but that's when I got the call and he told me they "lost" the bike. They close Monday so he said he'll find out the next day. Of course next day goes by he said he's still working on it... By Wed 11/10 I'm still not getting a straight answer from Steve so I finally emailed Tony (the owner). To my surprise, he replied back later the day and basically said "For some reason unknown to us the auction it was at sold it and we had no idea. It was a big misunderstanding and the facts are that we will have to refund all your monies. We didn't find out what actually happened until yesterday so i am deeply sorry that we put you through this and I hope you would accept my apology." I was just SHOCKED, I mean this did not happen, I paid in full for a bike that I thought I was getting, I arranged transport which now I have to cancel and get the refund. Basically it sounded like someone at the auction house paid top dollars for the bike (even though it's SOLD to me) they sold it to the highest bidder anyway. I don't believe for a second that they had "no idea" about it. The moment the bike left their facility and went to the auction house, they knew it was going to be sold. I was just their "back burner" in case it doesn't. I did get my money back on 11/15 from a check they sent via FedEx so I can finally look for another Niken. I don't recommend dealing with them remote as they're on the shady side of things.

When you buy a Harley Davidson motorcycle, it seems like the dealership or most any Harley Davidson Dealers are empowered to treat you with a strong condescending attitude. Once you've purchased your motorcycle from them, it behooves you to find a good mechanic that will treat you with reasonable respect. After a few minutes of conversation with the owner (Nick) it became obvious that he wasn't full of himself and had some people skills.
