Failure to provide service- twice. Regardless of Chris's…read moreskill as praised in on other reviews, it is ultimately overshadowed by his consistent lack of responsiveness to inquiries. I have reached out to Chris on 2 separate occasions. On both attempts, I reached out via Yelp and was directed to email the project to his company address. The first time, I received no response, but I opted to give him the benefit of the doubt, given the order was more complex and I was admittedly disorganized. Subsequently, this year, almost a year to the date of my last inquiry, I submitted a second, very simple request, through the same process. Yet once again, no acknowledgment, no rejection, no follow-up, and nothing in spam. If a job is outside his scope or interest, he is fully within his right to choose his work/deny service, but I believe it's the bare minimum in professionalism and courtesy to at least inform the client of your decision, rather than ghosting them after they send you the files they potentially created themselves or paid for. Likewise, there is no reason to direct inquiries to a communication line if it is A) Not actively monitored/responded to. B) You could easily spend the minute to look at the link/file in yelp and reject it. Bottom line: I do not advise sending your files to this vendor. There is no reasonable expectation of response to inquiries or submitted materials, and I ultimately had the work completed elsewhere without issue.

After working with 3 other 3D Printing businesses, we have found that Chris' professionalism,…read morevalue, and turnaround time to be the best fit for our projects' needs both internationally and locally. We needed 50 small toys to be printed in time for a toy convention and he was able to accommodate us with extremely reasonable rates and with a 1 week lead time. Much quicker than we had anticipated! He also is amazing/efficient with communication as he updated us every step of the way with photos and solutions on how to make the toys more durable + figured out a way on how to make them look smoother! Hands down, one of the most easy and straightforward parts of our project by far! Lastly, he also has two very well behaved poodles that were super friendly. It was therapeutic petting them while we chatted about our business endeavors/careers! (I now want poodles someday too) Really enjoyed working with Chris and would love to collaborate with him again!

Worst service. I emailed them, their site said 24 hours time, its been two days and haven't gotten…read morea response. This happened not once but twice. A few months ago i had emailed them the first time about a quote, they had their partner company email me and it wasn't like a few hours wait time for a reply, every time i emailed them i would have to wait 3-4 days tops for a RESPONSE. At one point they just stopped replying to me?? I'm never requesting service here again.

The first 3-D printer I ever saw up close, was a Deezmaker "Bukito." I was intrigued because it was…read moretiny, nearly silent, and created precise parts in virtually any shape. A few months later, after researching many printer designs and different brands, I ended up purchasing the big brother, of the Bukito, called the "Bukobot." Since all of this was new to me I thought excellent technical support was critical. Deezmaker is open seven days a week, and you can reach them by email, or by phone, or if you're in the area, in person. Every time I've needed help with something, I've gotten immediate assistance. Best of all, everyone there is not only knowledgeable, but friendly, with none of the attitude that sometimes crops up when you're a beginner asking an expert for help. I've been to the store a dozen times, whenever possible I go to their monthly Meetup, and again and again I've seen a willingness to answer even the most naïve questions. This morning I discovered that a part on my 16-month-old, heavily used printer, had cracked. I drove out to Pasadena, hoping they would have a replacement in stock. Not only did they have it, but they encouraged me to do the work myself while I was there, and provided helpful suggestions, and even let me use their tools to make the repair. If you have any interest in 3-D printing, or simply want to understand something about the mysteries of it, stop by their shop. You will feel truly welcomed, and if you want to delve deeper, I strongly recommend the class they offer, called, "Zero to Plastic," which is a very thorough and well presented introduction to 3-D printing. I've had a lot of fun with my Bukobot, and it has turned into an essential tool in my design studio.
