This place has many wonderful items inside of it. From rockets to simple crafts, there is bound to be something for the child with an imagination. I went with my sister and we kept finding more things we wanted to start building on with her son. And even some things we think we will do together as adults. Sometimes it feels like a mad dash as people are trying to get their supplies and they will cut right in front of you without excusing themselves. This is by no means the fault of the business, so I don't take stars off for a customer's observed behavior. Staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you wanted something they didn't have in stock, but they were able to find online. Sometimes a bit too long at the register as others are waiting to be helped. This one cashier kept pushing the customer to allow them to order the item she really wanted online and have it delivered to her home. She would say "I can wait, it's no problem", yet the cashier and Manager would not accept the answer. I get a sale is a sale, but you don't want to lose the guaranteed sales standing in your line either. That's my only complaint about this location.

It is clear that the goal of the store isn't to make money but to have the customer be happy and try to get a special souvenir at a great price. What's even crazier, is that during said events, you're never pressured to buy anything. How do they make a profit? I'm not sure either. But it seems like their business model is more along the lines of providing a space that makes people feel happy and welcome and then worrying about that finance stuff later. Seriously though, the place is super welcoming and patient with nerds of all types. Whether you're dipping your toes into nerd culture or want to dive in face first, they've had an answer and anecdote for nearly every geeky genre that has ever pique a nerd's interest.
