Unfortunately, I regret choosing this business and ignoring the red flags from the very beginning. From my first visit, the tailor was rude. She told me I needed to bring the shoes I would wear with the dress, so I returned the next day after work with my shoes. Even then, her attitude was unpleasant. She gave abrupt instructions like "put your things here," "don't close the curtain," and "leave the dress over there," which made me feel like she was annoyed and did not want to do the job. Because the wedding was only one week away, I left the dress. When I called a week later to pick it up, I told her I would be there by 5:30. She said she was closing early -- even though their normal closing time is 6:00 PM -- so my husband went instead. He immediately noticed the dress was still very long -- it was dragging on the floor. I had no choice but to fold it at the waist to make it wearable, which was far from ideal. I called her and explained the issue, but she was extremely rude on the phone. I brought the dress back and told her she could take her time fixing it. When I received it again, the back was much shorter than the front, and the stitching was terrible and uneven. What is strange is that the first time, the work itself was fine, which is why I am writing this review. It seems she did not like that I brought the dress back, because instead of properly fixing it, she ruined it -- and I still paid $50. Based on how I was treated from day one. I felt absolutely unwelcome. I will never return and do not recommend this tailor. If you notice any red flags, save yourself the unpleasant experience and go elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about Seams by Jenny. Jenny is truly incredible at what she does,…read moreand her son, who does all the behind the scenes work, is always so nice and helpful. Everything I've brought there has come back beautifully done and fits absolutely perfectly. The quality of her work is exceptional. Alterations like this really feel like a dying art, and Jenny is a true professional who clearly knows her craft. I will say, the prices are on the higher side, but this is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. The workmanship, attention to detail and finished result have been worth it every time for me. I've never been disappointed with anything I've had done there. If you have something you really care about and want it altered properly, I absolutely recommend her.

She was so kind and it was so cute inside. I had a large top, extremely wide leg pants tailored to be less wide, and Lululemon pants that I needed hemmed. She did a FABULOUS job on both! They each had specific detailing on them that I didn't want compromised - for example my denim outfit I wanted to keep existing hem and she did just that. I had the denim top that had a bow and slits and somehow she did some magic and took the top in so it was slimmer and put back the slit and bow as if nothing ever happened. UNREAL. I asked for a blind hem on my Lululemon pants - done! She has the most incredible touch and attention to detail. She truly earned a customer for life. Thank you Jenny!!
