We had reserved two picnic tables on the patio, and ordered a cake from Cafe Noir. This place has something for everyone. And it's all very very good. Guests ordered burgers, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, and shakes from Fast Times, beef tacos, yuba skewers, and daing na bangus from F.O.B. West, mushroom fettuccine from Cafe Noir, beer from Almanac Clubhouse, and lots of great cocktails from Pizzeria Violeta, F.O.B. West, and Woo Can Cook. Everyone was happy and we stayed til closing. Prescott Marker is a great place for casual group celebrations. Pro Tip: Reserving tables is really only necessary if the B's are playing.

Each Bento Box comes with purple rice, pickled mustard green (my fav), sautéed Taiwanese cabbage, and two daily side of your choice. You also get to pick the main dish, which I selected the stewed pork. For the sides, I went with original sausage and stewed egg. I'm trying to prioritize my protein whenever possible and they are protein friendly here. I appreciate the items were neatly arranged in the to-go Bento Box. I thoroughly enjoyed every items I have selected. It wasn't greasy and full of flavors. Besides Bento Boxes, they have noodles, soup, small bites and side dishes. I want to try the Taiwanese Fried Chicken next time. They also have a freezer full of dumplings, fish balls, sauces, cooked items and etc. for purchase. I got the Zha Jiang (pork meat sauce) that I can't wait to try on noodles. There are 4-5 tables to dine in if you preferred but I think this is more like a take-out spot.

The redevelopment took over many sections of these cultural neighborhoods and became what is now the midtown and downtown area of Sacramento. Today thueres just a few remnants of the past. About Taiwan Best Mart it's mostly a small takeout cafe with a couple dining tables and tiny grocery section offering some refrigerated foods. The food menu offers some Taiwanese/Chinese entrees and appetizers. They have available rice bowls, bento boxes, and some appetizers. Some of the bento prices are close to restaurant bento prices for a mostly takeout restaurant. I ordered the Pork Chop Bento which basically looks like a breaded katsu pork chop cut up. It also comes with 2 sides of your choice. I choose the basil eggplant and pot stickers. Also comes with some garnish and the purple urple rice. Price $17.50 plus tax. The food is ok and priced a little high but not bad. The customer service is standard and efficient. Score 3.5/5

It's been about a year since its opening and I am happy to find a Korean market close and…read moreconvenient to me. The service has been on point and I can usually find someone to ask and they gladly tell me where the product is located in the store. The store is huge, offering many items, focused on Korean goods but other products are available as well. They have an on-premise "food court" like cafe at the entrance of the store, as well as a deli section in the back of the store for more prepared foods to take home, like fried chicken, kimbap, bibimbap, etc. They have an extensive produce, meat sections and a variety of Korean specific products are available, from frozen foods, refrigerated prepared, ramen, snacks, cosmetics and the Basquia Bakery. However, I noticed that some of the things they sold when they first opened are no longer available and could be due to lack of interest or import cost. (this was also true when they first opened their Sunnyvale location). Their prices are comparable to other Korean stores I've visited, since they offer many of the same items, but I noticed there are items may be higher priced than the other locations. I also noticed they have some items that are not sold at other stores and for this reason, I keep coming back. Overall, it is a super convenient Asian themed market in the area. The other option would be to go to Ranch 99 or the newly opened Osaka Marketplace, both in Foster City or drive to Sunnyvale/Santa Clara.

This review is ONLY about the changes to the way you pay for parking…read more The new parking app makes me never want to shop at Broadway Plaza ever again, and I've been shopping there since I was a girl in the 80s. There was a period of time when I probably shopped at Broadway Plaza 1-2 times PER MONTH (now I'm stuck paying off my credit cards but that's my own fault and a separate issue). What was wrong with the old system? It worked just fine. But now you have to download an app to get out of the parking garage, EVEN IF you were there for less than the three hours of courtesy parking. It's absolutely insane. And even worse, there's NO cell reception in the garage (at least with AT&T) so you can't download the app without returning to the open air mall. Maybe that's why they changed things up? So that for people who haven't been to Broadway Plaza since before the app was rolled out, they might be able to charge for more time? It's unbelievable. And... you have to enter a bunch of personal information. Why do I need to download an app to pay for parking after I've already shopped at the mall, potentially pushing one of the tenants over their percentage rent breakpoint? It's outrageous. I don't mind having the ParkMobile app for parking because it allows me to park on many different cities' streets with little to no hassle. So I'm not anti-parking app. I am anti-Metropolis parking app. At least before, you got a time-stamped ticket so you knew exactly when to leave if you wanted to avoid paying. Now you have to remember to check the precise time you entered the garage, assuming it's even time-stamping accurately. And how do you know precisely where it time-stamps you? Macerich, do better. Relegate this parking situation to the annals of retail hell. Thank you for your consideration. [curtsy]

There's a good mix of restaurants, clothing, and jewelry shops, most of which are high quality brands and the mall constantly stays fresh and vibrant although I do wish they had more restrooms outside of the ones below Industrious. Some weekends they have a maker fare or live music, but most of the time the fountain is just central to the comfortable seating area, that during the winter gets some decor for the holidays. All in all, I really do love this area and still find myself coming back year after year.
