Pre Booking: When we initially chatted, Melissa made me feel super comfortable and she cultivated trust. I had no hesitations and we went ahead and booked her. What stood out was her commitment to her clients and how much she cares about her work. Leading Up to the Wedding: We did a final venue tour about a month out where we went over questions and site details with the venue coordinator. It went really well and Melissa guided us in thinking through final decisions based on her expertise, but did an incredible job at prioritizing our needs and vision. I put together all of our contracts, tablescapes, and details of who would be bringing what to the wedding in a folder for her so there wouldn't be any surprises for her. Day Of Wedding On the day of our wedding, Melissa took care of all of the details which included overseeing set up of both the ceremony and reception areas at our venue, being the contact person for our vendors, and ensuring we stayed on schedule with our photographer and for the wedding. When I arrived to the venue, she asked a few questions to confirm details and then sent me off to finish getting ready. I ended up doing significantly less work than I thought day of thanks to her! She was so incredible to work with and she ensured that we could enjoy our wedding day together and not have to worry about little details. As an event planner myself, I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking at ways to ease stress and enjoy their wedding day! While we were initially impressed by the beautiful venue and the quality of the food, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the behavior of the staff and certain policies enforced during the event. Specifically: Several waitstaff were consistently rude to our guests throughout the evening. One of the security guards was disrespectful toward my maid of honor. Despite our request to dim the lights for our first dance and later during the dancing portion, we were told no, leaving the atmosphere uncomfortably bright. Certain family members were repeatedly bothered under the assumption they were underage drinking, even after presenting valid identification. The owners' presence during the event felt intrusive, as they appeared visibly irate and monitored guests in a way that made many uncomfortable. These actions created unnecessary stress on what should have been a joyful occasion. We chose your venue expecting professionalism and hospitality, and unfortunately, that expectation was not met.

Where do I start???. Well... At the time the process of renting this venue, the owners seem sooooo nice. Reassuring they'll be plenty of food with the package purchased along with unlimited chips/salsa no need to take extra and you are allowed to take as much beer, non-hard alcohol beverages into the venue. Well, that was not the case. At time of the event supposedly the food ran out not letting the hosts know they started charging the guests per plate of food. And they did not keep up with the unlimited chips/salsa on the tables. When the guests tried to ask the servers (owners' wife) for anything, the servers (owners' wife) were rude as they were bothered. Making the guests feel uncomfortable to even ask for chips/salsa when supposedly the food ran out. When the guests tried to bring in cases of beer as previously the owners allowed to bring in, their security did not allow to bring in. So, the guests would have no choice than to purchase their beer there. It seemed as we were in a concert not a wedding where we had to purchase everything and the security was very rude to the women. Making comments, which that was not his place to be even talking. My brother and sister-in-law after being together for 20+ years they deserved the very best wedding experience. Its sad how this whole experience with the owners and staff of the Red Event Center made it so uncomfortable and embarrassing for them. I DONT recommend this place for a special occasion. But if anyone is renting this place for a special occasion DO NOT purchase the package. Promises are NOT kept, their servers along with the security are rude as F***. The only reason why they even get a one star is because it is a nice & spacious event center good for concerts.
