The first time I came here the woman giving me a pedicure offered me a massage for my pedicure which I had already had on my gift card. When I went to go pay they told me I asked for another ADDITIONAL massage so I had to pay more $$. I was upset, but paid and let it go. I received an email later from the salon that they would give me a $10 coupon to come back for the miscommunication. So here I am, finally about 8 months later making my way back here to use my coupon. I ask how much for callus removal, which they say $15. Again, overpriced but I accept. The girl doing my pedicure scrubs my feet instead of using the scraper and I ask why she didn't use the scraper. She said they couldn't use it because of covid. Which would have been helpful to know PRIOR to spending the $15. This place is a rip off and I'll never come here again. The pedicure isn't great enough where it's worth $40 even. It's a normal pedicure. There is absolutely nothing special about it. Worst of all they don't care about taking advantage of people and their money. It's like they don't realize people won't come back again. Both times I've been here the place has been absolutely empty. Recommend going somewhere else. Anywhere else at that. I'll never come here again. It's unlikely they'll end up staying in business.

Jessica was able to text or call to discuss details which was very convenient. The location is a little tricky to find but Jessica offered to help find it right away. Upon arrival, the room was clean and nicely decorated with calming music and lighting. After filling out a questionnaire and chatting with Jessica, I was led to the table. Jessica was friendly, kind and welcoming through the process. When it came time for the massage, I could not be happier. Jessica made me feel comfortable, relaxed and very peaceful. It was the quickest hour! When it was finished, Jessica gave me a card to check off every visit and redeem a free 30 minute massage after five visits. She said she doesn't really use them anymore but generously offered one to me. I would highly recommend The Healing Room for anyone looking for a reasonably priced and enjoyable massage.

Unfortunately for me, their service has fluctuated a lot and even though I expect the same excellent service like I did the first time, I feel more and more disappointed. One example is the aesthetician leaving the room periodically and for long periods of time during my facial or doing nothing while my mask is setting. Like they will just sit there in the room, no massaging of the arms or feet, which one person had done for me in the past. It just seems so expensive for a basic-ish facial.

Depending on your hair type may be helpful if you had your preferred hair products and communicated to the team your needs. There is a drying station available to get your hair blow dried but my mom and i opted to not get hair blown there ( have 4c hair) and would prefer to do on my own with my own products.
