I loved the hand! Our servers were amazing in their knowledge of both the food and beverage menus. We received excellent advice on drink pairings. We were checked on at just the right moments. Really, service was exquisite while also being relaxed. My Buttermilk Fried chicken was the best fried chicken I've ever had, and I look for opportunities for that meal everywhere! Yes, I have a fried chicken 'problem'. Tried a bite of Hub's Little Neck Clams, also tasty, with a wonderful mix of flavours. Tuna Tataki as a starter, also delicious. All in all, a great meal.

I was seated on the covered outdoor patio, so it was a comfortable temperature. I was served bread and butter pretty fast, which I demolished because bread is good. I ordered the Calamari and a Caesar salad, which came out pretty quickly. The calamari was amazing; it had just the right amount of frying time and a pretty good sauce. After I ate the amazing salad, which had romaine lettuce, parmesan, and croutons. The salad was also pretty good, and I ate it pretty fast. I went with my mom, so she gave me some of her mussels, which were delicious. The waiter saw that I demolished the bread, so he gave me more. Did I say the bread was good yet cause it was GOOD. Overall, my experience at Vittoria Trattoria was amazing and if Im ever in the area again I'd go back.

We had smoked salmon on linguine with Alfredo sauce; our host had a dish that contained meat and veggies. The waitress was a lovely woman who took good care of us, although she forgot to bring us bread. The place was quite busy for Friday lunch but it was obviously due to the food. We didn't drink but the wine racks covered an entire wall, and the beer list was more than substantial. We had to park about 72 yards away, but no big deal. Dress is casual, at least for lunch, but don't dress like a road worker or you'll feel out of place. If you've never been here, it's a great place to try, and for a great first or hundreth date.

A few people had mentioned this place but there were zero reservations available until the following week. So... I called and asked if they could squeeze in a party of two. They were so incredibly accommodating! We had a table for dinner within a minute of me calling. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly valet attendants. The hostess led us to our table, and our incredible dining experience began. We were greeted by Karsten, our waiter, who had the biggest smile I have seen in all of Ottawa. His customer service was unmatched! He offered a solution for each complication and made us feel like royalty. 1000000/5 for the customer service here! Drinks: Old Fashioned: 5/5. A great job done on a classic beverage. Giovanni's: 5/5. I love tequila and love trying a martini that allows the flavor of the tequila to shine with a hint of fruit. Sauvignon Blanc (Family Tree, Canada): 5/5. A crisp, white wine that is refreshing and was the perfect accompaniment to the carbonara. Chianti (Caposaldo, Tuscany, Italy): 5/5. A beautiful, deep, red wine that went perfect with the lamb and lasagna. I may or may not have a case of this wine on order after dinner... Food: Calamari Fritti: 4/5. I loved how crispy the calamari was, but I feel as though the batter needed a little bit more seasoning. Just a little bit more. Bruschetta: 4/5. I needed a little more flavor in this. The bread was also slightly soggy. But otherwise, the tomatoes were fresh! Lasagna: 5/5. This platter was INSANE. I'm still getting used to Canadian portion sizes. This could've fed 2-3 people. It was delicious. The lasagna was finished in the oven, so the top of it was extra crispy (literally the best). Highly recommend this dish! Spaghetti Alla Carbonara: 5/5. I have to order the carbonara if it's on the menu. This one was incredible. The flavors, the consistency, the lightness of it... everything. I was in heaven with every possible bite. One thing I loved about this dish was that it was not heavy like most carbonara's are. I enjoyed every bite! This was also a 1/2 order, which was still massive. Costolette D'Agnello (Rack of Lamb): 5/5. I rarely ever see lamb on the menu at restaurants and was so excited to try this one. IT WAS YUMMY. I got the 1/2 order of this because we were already ordering so much food. Im so glad I did. It came with potato cakes, spinach, asparagus, and the best carrots. Delicious. Not to mention, the lamb was cooked to the perfect temperature. Forget a 5/5, this dish was a 50000/5. Bravo!

Chicken Parm Sandwich - Nice sandwich, large flat piece of chicken with a good amount of cheese and tomato sauce. Bread was decently fresh as well. Fries were undercooked... Would recommend, ask for extra crispy fries to ensure they cooked through. Unlikely to come again as so many other things to try in the area.

The pizza is very good and if you like a gourmet pizza this is the place to go. The seafood pasta is also a good choice. I'm giving it three 3 stars due to the service we received this evening. The server did not ask how our dinner was and in the past the waitress would always ask. We had to ask another waitress for salt and spicy oil for our pizza crust, as the waitress serving our table was no where in site. The pizza was dry and the sea food pasta was al dante, when we mentioned this to our waitress she said that she'd mentioned it to the kitchen. The service was a disappointment to say the least. The only reason I'm giving this restaurant 3-stars is because we've received 5-star food and service pre-COVID.

So after thinking about it for a while we finally visited the restaurant. My wife had the Pollo Pesto and I had the fettuccini Kara Mia. One suggestion would be to include two cus of sauce, one per person. The food was tasty, and the portions are just the right size. Service was generally good, however i would have liked the server to offer fresh ground pepper as part of his service. All in all a good experience and will be returning. The menu has many dishes that peaked our interest.

Luckily I didn't come in at a crazy time. The service was quick and friendly. I started off with the sourdough bread with cultured butter. I loved that it was the right size where you don't end up full on bread. The cultured butter was a nice touch but they didn't offer just a chunk where you feel you have to use all of it. (the difference is cultured butter has more flavour and a bit tangy). For the main I decided to go the red pie road and ordered the Sweet Tony. My oh my how delicious this was. That hot honey really added some fun flavour that cut through the Fior di Latte and the basil added that freshness it needed. The pie was the right size for two people however if your party is larger perhaps order two pies! I will definitely be stopping by and trying a new pie next time I'm in Ottawa.

We were seated at a table in the inside of the restaurant, which was actually quite warm as the main doors were open, which minimized the coolness from the air conditioner. We were served by a nice middle-aged gentleman, whom provided us with menus upon arriving, giving us ample time to decide. Since we weren't too hungry, we settled on sliced bread with butter (which was $8.00), and a margarita pizza. The bread had a strange burnt taste to it however, with the butter, the burnt taste wasn't as apparent. Also, the amount of seeds on the bread's crust were overwhelming, which made us mostly taste the seeds as opposed to the bread itself. We also found the price much too high for sliced bread; many restaurants provide sliced bread for free however, this restaurant charged an exuberant amount for it. The margarita pizza looked appetizing upon viewing it for the first time however, once we had bitten into it, the cheese on the top was overwhelmingly salty. We were surprised, as margarita pizza usually doesn't have cheese that is that salty. As well, the price for this pizza was $20 +, which once again, we found much too expensive for what we were receiving. Overall, we wouldn't come back to this particular restaurant. Although the service was attentive and the atmosphere was inviting, the food wasn't very good, and it was overpriced. We certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for an authentic Italian meal.

They first brought out complementary baguette bread (with olive oil+balsamic vinegar), olives & pickled peppers. For starters we had their CALAMARI. it was lightly battered, seasoned well, and perfectly deep-fried. The texture was soft and wasn't rubbery at all! As for the mains, we got the LOBSTER RAVIOLI & VEAL WITH LIGHT LEMON SAUCE. The Lobster Ravioli had a delicious rose sauce that was thickly layered on 6 pieces of rather large ravioli stuffed with just the right amount of ricotta and small chunks of lobster. The Veal was super tender and soft. Although it was pricey for 4 small slices of meat, the quality of each component of the dish was superb. The lemon sauce was indeed light but still creamy and well-balanced. We definitely used the side veggies to soak it all up. However, once we stepped into the restaurant, we knew that it would be a tad pricey. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time when we arrived therefore, we were given a round table near the window. Once we were seated, we each received a menu, and settled on our items. The restaurant itself was quite fancy, with the servers wearing formal attire, and the table setting/wall decor boasting an expensive flair. Once we had settled on our meals, we were given a basket of nicely warmed bread, with olive oil mixed with vinegar, along with peppers and olives on the side. The bread was amazing, and we were able to ask for seconds. The basket was never full, as we continuously ate what was placed inside of it. It was a great start to the meal! Once our main dishes arrived, we were surprised to see how much food was included. The chicken cutlet was quite large, with my son unable to finish it. It was also tasty, as I had tried a few bites. My daughter's meatball however had a strange spice which didn't sit well with her. As well, the dish that my mother and I had settled on had various pieces of burnt pasta, and it wasn't too appetizing. Since the prices were so high for each of the dishes, we were surprised that the taste wasn't adequate. Since we had such a positive experience with the complimentary bread, we expected the same for the main meal. However, we weren't too pleased with most of the items we had ordered. I have to give kudos to the service at this restaurant, as we were always doted on, from start to finish. We even saw the manager (or owner) come out to greet all of the guests individually. Although this restaurant was on the higher-end, the food just didn't suffice, and wasn't worth the price that we had paid.
