We went to eat at Ikea. The swedish meatballs are the best. We ordered swedish meatballs and salmon. The salmon wasn't good. It tasted very fishy. Other than that everything else tasted great. I would go back to eat only for the meatballs.

Went for a little tv stand and grabbed a quick snack of the Swedish meatballs. So freaking good. This is a great store to just walk around and get decorating ideas. However the furniture can be a bit much to put together. I try to stick to the easier pieces like my coffee table, Lack side tables and the little tv stand because my experience with putting dressers and beds together from here has not been the most pleasurable. The instructions can be hard to follow.

Terrible hours. Opening at 10 AM is just stupid. IKEA needs to move to an 8 AM opening time in the weekends at least.

I explained that the problem had to be resolved asap in order to secure my home. he quoted me $560.00 whi h he said included materials. also if less money he would adjust the cost. he made me give my credit card information and charged my bank account even before the work was done. Brian sent a guy named Adam who was absolutely kind, knowledgeable and professional. he shaved one door, had me go to Lowe's at my expense and buy sanding various papers new locks and bonded. total costs around $100. i callec brian before going to lowes and reminded him he quoted me the price which included everything. he said he must have not taken into account items that were not on hand. Adam was already working on the door. I spoke to Brian about why I was paying for the materials, he said that he always makes clients pay for their own stuff. what? Brian had already taken my money prior to the job without knowing exactly what needed to be done. sour taste is my mouth. i called other places afterwards and they said i had been taken advantage of. the job shouldn't have cost $560 plus $100 to have me go shopping for materials they should have had on hand. only good outcome was Adam was kind sanded the door so it would close and allow me to secure my home. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. The comments Trevor left me were totally untrue. I spoke with Brian not Trevor so he knows nothing about the situation. the job was expressed with certainly that they would know what was needed to fix the door to make it close. Bonds, at $30 va Bonds, at $30, different sizes of sanding paper with dispenser to put sandpaper on to sand. I asked Brian directly if door knows were included and he assured me they were. I had to leave my home with a stranger while I rounded up the items needed for the job. Brian quoted me for a French door however only one door had to be sanded down. price still should be adjusted. let me make it clear, Adam was a good guy and my door doesn't stick. however the locks aren't that easy to lock and he tried his best to get the lock to go smoothly. I also didn't appreciate the phone message after Trevor read my review. it was rude, and expecting me to change my review at your request isn't going to happen. I'm expecting some adjustments on the price as was promised.

we hired Cransten to do a remodel of our kitchen, master bath and floors in kitchen, dining room,…read moreliving room, stairs and upstairs den. The initial process was different then I had seen before with me going over the scope of work with a project manager on the phone and me sending pictures of the rooms and spaces that would be remodeled. Different isn't bad their process worked very well. before the work the contractor Robert Mettlach made an appointment to complete a walk through. Robert showed up early which was a pleasant surprise as most companies get there when they want. We eventually signed after a price was given. The billing process was simple. And several people from the company checked in with me each week to ensure we were happy and things were going good. A date was set to begin the demo and the project. Robert Mettlach actually asked us what time he could start and was incredibly thoughtful of us the entire length of the process. His plan was always with us in mind in order to inconvenience us as little as he possibly could. when the time was set for the work to begin Robert was again early patiently waiting to come to the door. He was early everyday and worked incredibly hard. His communication was constant throughout each work day to ensure we knew what his work plan was for the day, and gave us constant updates. He was absolutely a joy and pleasure to work with. He came to work every day happy and with an incredibly positive outlook on the project. Once the demo was complete he started the the work, and again continued the great communication of his plan which absolutely revolved around us being as comfortable as possible. Again he always arrived early and worked incredibly hard everyday. when it comes to Roberts work, he absolutely is the best and most knowledgeable contractor we have ever worked with. The quality of his work was incredible. I have seen a ton of handymen, but Robert's work was more than that. Robert is a true craftsmen and everything was perfect. His knowledge of flooring, drywall, plumbing , electrical, tile work and overall construction was something I have never seen before. This job would have taken any other contractor twice as long to complete and the quality would not of been half as nice. Robert Mettlach is a true professiona. Cransten was so easy to deal with. I will definitely call them for our next remodel and will definitely request Robert. We actually miss seeing him everyday.

While other customers have had positive and satisfying experiences with this vendor - our personal…read moresaga has been much different. Our review is solely based on what we have personally and individually gone through in utilizing this sub-contractor. We needed custom cabinets for two basement bathrooms on a new home build. MJ Design was recommended to us by the folks that did our granite countertops. We set an appointment, and Jared came out to our home for an initial visit. We identified our needs and shortly thereafter we received an initial quote. Much to our surprise, the price was well above our expectations, yet we felt like Jared's initial "sales pitch of being a perfectionist" and considering customer support & communication with the client" two of his highest priorities - we swallowed the bitter money pill and paid approximately $9,000 for two, bathroom cabinets.- signing the verbose and somewhat occluded work order/authorization (here, like pretty much every other homeowner we trusted in good faith that we not only would be taken care of, but more importantly we would have a credible voice in the event something went astray). During our initial design visit we unequivocally expressed and explained to Jared what specific stain we wanted on the cabinetry to the smaller bathroom. Jared assured us that he could produce what we requested. At no point did he provide either a sample or even a photo of what "ebony" stain would look like as a final product. Our primary requests where to ensure that the expensive walnut grain would be clearly seen through the stain - Once again we put our faith in him as the expert he proffered to be. When the cabinets arrived for installation - it was immediately apparent that there was a problem. While the larger bathroom cabinetry was fine, the smaller bathroom cabinet was stained a dark, pitch black and not in any form what we originally agreed upon. That same day and before any installation occurred, we notified Jared of the problem, we stated our preference - that the problem cabinet was not to be installed, that it be taken back to his shop and fixed as to what we expected/needed. His immediate response was to have all the cabinets installed and we "could work things out later", so once again - with concern now growing, we allowed for the installers to do their job. What followed as one might identify as a "remedial effort at reaching an acceptable solution" instantaneously decomposed into overt events of "doubling down and falling back on what was requested per the work order/authorization" - now days after the installation had occurred Jared produced a definition of "ebony" a definition which was unknown to us when ordering - as a point of interest it was at this time that we found that the specific language found within his work order/authorization is crafted in such a unilateral manner that it leaves the customer without any significant legal recourse- should you elect to undergo a contract with this individual, it will be to your greatest benefit to read every single word in the fine print. This obvious a case of "Buyer Beware". Jared did come out to our house and see the problem for himself. At that time, he let us know that the outside panels of the cabinets would have to be made anew, and that he shouldered "part of the responsibility - during that specific conversation" (at no time did he identify or assign any additional expense for us). We were left with the expectation that the new cabinet panels would arrive shortly and be installed as per our original work order/contract. After his visit - we received an email for a change order and an additional $800.00 charge for the new cabinet panels. This is when we witnessed in fact what "perfectionism and customer support" truly mean in this venue. For two weeks we texted, called and emailed. In every single one of those communication platforms, we optimistically searched for a way to reach an acceptable solution (our intent has always been to help protect the brand name of those folks who take great pride in the quality of their trade). The few replies we received, unfortunately contained (once again) the same verbiage of "what was ordered" and the menace of possible additional costs that (according to the contract) he could, should he wish, bring forth. Just to further clarify, I am quoting his last email to us: "There is no use going back and forth, this will be my LAST email". How would you feel as a dissatisfied and frustrated customer? Home building is stressful enough without these gauntlets. How we wish that our experiences with MJ Design would have been different, the real irony is that they very well should have. LVP is supposed to last 10-20 years. In less than a year, I had SEVERAL cracks in our new flooring. I requested this be repaired. As the cracked flooring was removed, large debris were found. The original installers did not clear the debris before installing. There were additional issues with the initial installation, & when I addressed them with Ogdens flooring the response was defensive. Examples- During floor prep, the guys removed the door stops. When they came slamming through the front door they made a hole in the wall. When this was later addressed they alluded to us that we were lying b/c their guys won't use the front door. We had to show them our doorbell camera footage to prove it! Installation was not done on time. We had to move in mid-project with me 6m pregnant & 3 young children in the house, they did not clean at the end of each day. They left exposed nails & power tools/saws out while there were children about. When the project was over (or so we assumed as several days had passed with no more workers but we weren't told anything) we called in. A pile of trash/sawdust was left in our garage. We were told that was normal and they were probably not done yet. We also had to call to request the trim pieces be installed. Amidst this, the dishwasher stopped working. Ogdens denied involvement, citing no reason to touch it. We sent them pictures of pieces of baseboard labeled by their workers with the words "Dishwasher" on the back. After having a tech out, it turns out the guys had disconnected the waterline and did not reconnect it. The removal of the baseboards left large indents all along the wall/ chips. To this I was told baseboards were not included in the fee. (see pic) The hard floor transition to carpet on the stairs is bunched and the seam is clearly visible. (see pic) The installer told me, "Well I'm not a carpet guy" When I addressed these issues, the manager had an answer for everything. We had to FIGHT for anything to be made "right" by sending pictures, rebutting, & having other techs visit. The ultimate solution- $150 credited back to us for the cost of the drywall & having the Dishwasher tech come out Present Day- So over 3 years, the lumps have turned to cracks, the repaired panels have peeled, places are scratched etc. These issues have to be addressed since we are selling. I went into the store with 2 requests: replace the damaged LVP panels & carpet 1 room ASAP. I summarized why I needed panel repairs for the 2nd manager. They estimated around $300 for the carpet; first pick got discontinued. The next option was higher quality at $700. The final choice, within the $300 range, would arrive in about a week. The manager said he'd measure it in 2 days. After measuring, he indicated it might be closer to $400 due to the larger room, but he'd send an official cost sheet via email soon. I stressed the timeline and requested a prompt install. 6 days later, this manager sent me a text asking if I remembered what carpet I had picked out! 3 days later I reached out to see if the carpet had been ordered & confirmed that the panels of LVP will be replaced as scheduled. The carpet hadn't been ordered. Ogden's LVP repairman told my husband that the panels were not installed correctly. Un-sanded seams and lingering debris were causing chipping and cracking, necessitating a complete floor replacement. He left saying he will contact his boss & we should expect a call. A few hours later I reached out. Our text conversation left me stunned.[see pic] As of yet there has been no resolution. After 2 separate installers have told Ogden's flooring directly that this was a bad install, no refund or replacement will be agreed to by them. They want me to use the original installers they fired to replace the damaged panels & let the rest be "someone else's problem"
