And then from your email: $40 deposit that we do apply towards that repair. So why didn't I get my deposit back? Especially if the film, in conjunction with the backlight, was a KNOWN ISSUE. I dropped the TV off Tuesday, 11/14. Was told I'd get a call with an update. I CALLED on 11/20 and was told he'd check on it and give me a call right back. I HAD TO CALL AGAIN, on 11/27 (AFTER BLACK FRIDAY WHEN I WOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO GET A GOOD PRICE ON A TV IF I KNEW I NEEDED ONE!) to check on it as NOBODY called ME - and at that time you told me about the KNOWN ISSUE of the film THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS WITH THESE TYPE OF BACKLIGHT ISSUES - and it was recommended that it wouldn't be worth the repair as it would not result in a good picture on the tv. You offered to recycle the TV for me or I could come pick it up. I came to pick it up and was told I wouldn't get the deposit back...WHY NOT? It is a deposit, that as you state, goes toward the repair...I was advised against the repair - so refund my deposit. If, at any time, you had said - I don't know, maybe even when you sent the "free quote" - backlight issues are notorious (Like almost 100% of the time) for having a film that melts and prevents a quality repair - we can take a look at it for $40, OR there's a $40 fee, or it's really not a free quote as it will cost you $40 - that would be a different situation. But that's not what you said - you said, again in your email "$40 deposit that we do apply towards that repair". Since we paid in cash - please send a check for $40. Only now (too late) I looked at his other recent reviews. They are 1-star reviews. Mine was GENEROUS!!! Please avoid these guys at all cost. They are super-rude and aggressive. And for an electrical company to be unable to connect a functional Spectrum Xumo box to a new TV, and then deny they were asked to do so, is inexcusable. What's more, they quoted $80 and I paid $95 for a half-finished job because I thought the guy who came out was nice. Boy was I wrong!!! These people are a bunch of aggressive, bullying, creeps!!! First to talk options and get estimates and make an appointment. 2nd was to drop off the car. In-between, I did do some price checking. And everything was within the same range. Dropped the car off early since I knew it had to be there awhile. When I called later in the day to get an estimate for a pick-up time, it was about done. Someone walked me through the changes and new equipment. I was pretty comfortable without this but it was fine. I also had someone else in the parking lot with me. But the business should note that some individuals may not want to sit in their cars alone with a stranger. And, if you are picking up your car, bring a friend in this situation to sit with you for the tutorial!

They were able to fit us in quickly and do the job that Best Buy could not. They were professional and friendly. The work they did in the car was extremely neat, they did a nice job, and did so for a very reasonable price. In fact, they were even on the lower end of the price range they quoted us.
