The surgical discussion was very balanced & he explained fully what I could anticipate for recovery & the risks. My surgery was 100% successful! I was at the Hartford Hosp outpatient center in Milford and the entire office & medical staff was great. I went into the surgery feeling that I was in good hands across the board, especially with Dr. W. He takes his time to really listen to patients and is not a surgeon who believes surgery is always the answer. He had been recommended to me by other medical professionals and I completely see why. I cannot recommend him and the staff he has engaged more highly.

He and his staff have always been very responsive and understanding with terrific "Bedside Manner". I took advantage of and enrolled in a Concierge Physicians program to which he belongs. The service offers several benefits. One of the most important benefits for me is virtually instant accessibility to him and/or his staff 24/7. I would recommend Dr. Saunders as a very competent practitioner of Internal Medicine as well as a down to earth General Practitioner or Primary Care Physician.

However I called back and they said that they were going to call a mediation to my pharmacy. I go the pharmacy and nothing was called so naturally I called them back. Some rude assistant picked up trying to rush me off the phone and she said they never called the prescription because the dr wanted to talk to me. I said I wished you called to let me know. She got so rude on the phone and saying she doesn't have time for that and that they are short staffed. I said please do be snippy with me, and as I was speaking to make an appointment she hung up. So I called back, I don't know who picked up (most likely the same person) I said why did I get hang up on, and she hung up again for the third time. Someone called me from the office and without asking me what happened stating that I am being rude to the staff. I laughed because at this point it was funny. I explained myself again, and made an appointment that I cancelled right away .this was just for a physical appointment , what if I was sick and they act like that again and again ....I was going to ask to be a concierge patient, but they don't need my money I guess. Dr. Zagar figured me out in a single visit. I followed up on his idea with my team of physicians and I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome, the treatment for which has me experiencing less daily pain than I have in 15 years. I had seen other neurologists before and no one had a clue. I have to say that I think Dr. Zagar is some kind of diagnostic wizard. I don't know what anyone else's experience may be, but the stories I've told here are real. This clinic has been life changing for me.

Ever since he left, this place feels like it's just a front for a pill farm. I just got out of the hospital after a really bad pain issue from a car accident. I was there for three days and after being given deluded injections and more ( at the hospital my blood pressure was 213 / 109 for many hours while the hospital tried to get the blood pressure down, 2 days later, the hospital tried get me off the injections and tried 15 mg of oxycodone. that was not enough so the hospital upped the oxycodone to 20 mg every 4 hours. That was good enough relief that I could tolerate it. the hospital gave me 20 5 mg oxycodone to add the 15 mg oxycodone that I already hade from this pain management facility to give me time to get an increased dose. This pain management place( advanced diagnostic pain treatment centers ) will not even let me talk to dr ligham, and told me if what I have is not good enough i can go back to the hospital. refusing again to do anything that was not on a scheduled visit. I have to wait over a week for my next appointment, and don't know what will happen when I do go on my my next appointment. They would not schedule me to see dr ligham for months so I could review the amount of medication.

This was so painful, bleeding has been on and off and I've been so sick that I couldn't work for the past 14 days. He has reached out to the hospital affiliated with this practice and they confirmed they did not receive the appropriate information from the office, therefore causing this significant delay. After reaching out to my husband's primary care physician, Dr. Pendleton, it was determined that his records from this office were never sent over to his PCP. This type of poor communication and lack of concern/care is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The average hold time is over 30 minutes, without any type of resolution. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, as no patient should have to experience this type of service.
