Went in on a Thursday around 9:40. Should have taken a hint when we only saw 3 cars in the parking lot. I ordered the $6 special blend breakfast with a side of toast. The eggs were luke warm, the bacon was overcooked and the hash browns were somewhat burned and dry. You would think with only 3 tables occupied in the whole restaurant that the kitchen wouldn't have a hard time preparing a hot fresh breakfast. I see the ratings for this location and think they might be a little generous. read more

The service was amazing. We had 21 people at our table and they got our food and we left within 57 minutes.

They forgot syrup and butter for our pickup order so we drove back to get some. The lady at the front REFUSED to give us more than 2 packets even though we ordered a full group meal. She was passive aggressive and extremely rude. read more

Although the food was good they lack in personnel. Not only did it take a waitress 15 minutes to even come to our table but I felt like we were eating in a biker bar. All of the waiting staff which were female we're not only fairly unkempt but you could hear them behind the partition and how they were speaking to one another. In the time that I was there trying to eat I heard one call another one a liar I heard another one say if you want it do it yourself I heard another one say it's not my job I'm not doing it and things of this nature. One waitress kept coming out and sitting with her grandparents who were seated next to us and was bad-mouthing the manager of the establishment the whole time when she wasn't talking about how her uncle beat the crap out of somebody last night. My husband and I don't go out to eat that often so when we do it would be nice if we could enjoy a pleasant meal this was not the case. We will probably not choose this location again. read more

When I moved to The Twin Falls area 20 years ago, iHop was the place to go! Great food and great service! It was THE place to go for breakfast anytime of the day. Through the years the place has slowly gone down hill. My sister and I were there not long ago and we're appalled at how dirty the floor was. We were in a small area with no other guests. So why the dirty floor? The entire restaurant had maybe 8 tables with guests. Our waitress who was nice looked as though she had just crawled out of bed. Are there no longer standards regarding how one should dress for work? She really acted as though she didn't want to be there. For such a small group of guest there, we figured we would be in and out quickly to get on with our day. As it turned out we had to wait forever for our food. My sister had to send her breakfast back due to her food being barely luke warm. All in all it was not a very nice experience for the start of our day. Management..... please take a look at what's happening to the restaurant you are managing. Train your staff and clean the place up! While the server was friendly enough, we were discouraged from ordering taco pancakes, because it's a lot of work to make when they are busy (there were no more than 15 people in the restaurant). My scrambled eggs were cold and I ordered the crepe combo. I asked for strawberries instead of blueberries which she said wouldn't be a problem. When I got the crepes, there was no lemon curd ricotta inside of them. When I finally got the waitresses attention and told her about the lack of lemon curd inside, she said it wasn't her fault. I had to wait another 20 minutes to receive them and when I did, there was only one crepe on the plate instead of the two. My husband had to ask again for the side order of toast and strawberry syrup as well which he asked for when ordering. Usually, we love IHOP but this was disappointing. read more

A late night food stop on a Friday night. Our waitress was Irene....she had a fantastic attitude, and provided great service all with a warm smile. The food was fantastic as well and we were grateful for the kitchen staffs attentiveness. The only downfall and one that dropped the experience down from a 5 to a 3 was the attitude and sideway looks from the other waitress working. I'm sure she was tired, but this experience is an excellent example of how one person's attitude can negatively effect an entire room of people. read more

We ordered two lemon crepes. Food was a bit cold, the service was good, however when we got the crepes they were empty, no cheese ricotta?! We asked for some filling and when we finally got them after a long wait. We only got one, and it was cold again. Wow! Will probably not be coming back. This place sucked. It was my first time eating here with my family and it's the last. As soon as I went in with my little sister the waitress looked us up and down and so rudely asked us iff it would just be us two. She asked us if we would prefer a booth or a table and I asked for a booth, she turned around and visibly rolled her eyes and walked us to our table. As soon as we turned the corner it was a mess, there were 4 unclean tables and the floor was filled with trash. She sat us at a booth where we did not fit (there were 5 of us) and said she would wipe off the table next to us so she could push it over. We never got that extra table and the whole time we were there it was never cleaned. She took over 15 minutes to come get our drink order and by that time we already had our food order ready. When she finally decided to show up, she was super unfriendly and you couldn't tell if she hated her job or us. My dad ordered a water and when she brought it to him she basically tossed it at him, because it spilled. Our food took very long to come out and even people that got there after we're attended before us. When our drinks were ready, she let them sit at the window for a while and she was on her phone. We ordered three hot chocolates and they were cold when they got to our table. When it came down to our food we received it cold and either under cooked or extremely over cooked. The bacon on my food was not cooked right and the waffles we ordered were burnt. By the time it came to pay she quickly brought our check and we paid as soon as we got it and left. Before we were even out the door we watched as she headed to the table to pick up the money and head to the register. The worst customer service ever and someone like that should not be working in a job we're friendliness and cleanliness are a big factor. read more

The IHOP in Twin Falls, Idaho, was recently remodeled, and it's a total disaster. Looks great but is extremely noisy the way it is laid out. There is literally nowhere in the restaurant to sit to escape the outrageous level of noise. Right when you walk in you are looking at a large area that I guess is supposed to be cleverly laid out, where you're looking directly into the kitchen, but the noise starts right there as you walk in. If you go to the right, you are seated in an area that has an open door to the kitchen and is extremely noisy, and the same to the left, including having to walk right past kitchen messy and unsightly clutter to get the small restroom that was quite smelly. I ordered pancakes, and there was a black hair on the plate. I'll never ever eat at this place. read more

Went for breakfast for dinner last night. What a disaster!!! Wife ordered Swedish pancakes, her favorite and only reason we stepped in the place. They were not fresh, must have been frozen because they were obviously heated, but they were still cold and the butter was frozen. Yuck, she left the plate uneaten My mistake was ordering potato pancakes. In the past they came with sour cream and applesauce usually larger and three with an order. These were garbage. They were actually hash browns put in the shape of a patty and deep fried. Might have been edible if they were not grossly over cooked. Ended just flat pieces of grease saturated potatoes. Not good!!! You should just close the restaurant down. The original concept has been destroyed!!! Won't see us ever again!!! read more

Very disappointing breakfast. My whole combo was not even lukewarm, it either sat a long time under a dim warmer or it was never cooked through to begin with. The syrup bottle lids were gummed up, the waitress had to take them away and clean them up. What brand is the coffee? For $2.85 per cup it should have been a robust cup of coffee and it was not. We will write IHOP off of our list of to go to breakfast places. read more

Ok seriously folks, is there a breakfast cook at any major restaurant that knows what a damn over-medium egg is? I have yet to see it. Some of the small family diners will do it right. But with these guys, Shari's, Perkins, Denny's, etc you ask and you get over easy. If you dare complain they'll come back over done. I understand it's hard to pay attention with everything happening on that grill, but for a $9 breakfast you can make at home for $2 you'd think they'd do the eggs right at least once in a while. Other than that, IHOP is overpriced in general, nothing against this particular location. If you've settled for the mediocrity that is this chain and you're in town, knock yourself out. read more

If anyone is thinking about going to the IHOP, in Twin Falls, ID, I hope you have a better experience than we did. My wife & I took our grandson there on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015. We asked for several different items on the menu before we finally found something that the waitress did NOT say that they were out of that. We couldn't help over hearing several other tables near us that also received the same responses, "we're out of that" many times as well. When we finally found something they had, they took forever getting us the food. I'm sorry but I can't say that the taste of the food was worth the wait, either. This used to be our quick go-to place for a meal in between shopping or appointments. This was the last time we will eat here. Slow service and incompetent waitresses caused one in our party to go hungry (not that a side salad could fill up anyone). Three of us ordered hamburgers, one with fries and two preferred a side salad instead of fries. 30 minutes later another waitress stopped by and said the other one was new and overwhelmed with orders. She then brought the 2 salads, one with the wrong dressing. Turns out what I ordered isn't even offered there (hmm, got it there before). After asking about our hamburgers, we were told it takes 16 minutes for that. Finally out comes 2 hamburgers twice the time she said it would take. We asked there the 3rd one was. Well only 2 were ordered! We couldn't wait another 30 minutes for a 16 minute burger. Really, 16 minutes? Mine was burnt on one side so it tasted terrible but no chance to return it. Maybe if they only cooked it a few minutes it would be cooked and not burnt. Then the bill came and we were charged full price for the salads that were supposed to be in place of the fries. We asked for the over 55 discount but she ignored us. Finally got the bill corrected (salads but not the 55 discount) and we left. Never again will we eat there. read more

We took the family in on Sunday morning ten minute wait, no surprise. As we were seated we were given utensils wrapped in a napkin wet with what I can only describe as mystery liquid. Our server clearly was only a few days in and had not been fully trained. Although she did do her best, our order came completely wrong. At which time a superior server came to her aid. This is when my wife decided to go use the facilities. Upon walking in she was confronted with two open diapers in the bathroom stall, blood and other misc smears on the toilet and walls. In conclusion after an hour of poor service a three try order and dripping silverware and amenities, my wife left puking. Leaving what little we could stomach in the parking lot.
