This review is written mainly for the dark chocolate peppermint pancakes. I had the pleasure of eating these delights on Sunday December 4, 2016. These are quite possibly the best pancakes I have ever placed in my mouth. I will return to IHOP before these delicious creations are gone for the season. I ordered mine w/o whipped cream and added powdered sugar- I don't care for white chocolate but went with it and I'm glad I did- it was like frosting as the chips melted. The absolute worst service. The food is great if you don't mind waiting 20-30mins for it. The service is unbelievably terrible. We've given this location many chance because we truly enjoy the food. Today we sat there for 45mins with a hungry crying baby only to be told our order was never even placed. After excuses from the server as to why this happened we left hungry and angry. Stopped in to eat here where it was conveniently across from our hotel and after traveling many hours. Today has been a stressful day where anything that could go wrong went wrong.... The food was greasy and tasted bland but ok...what was really awful was the service and the restaurant itself (which was absolutely filthy). The server messed up an order of a 4 stack of pancakes (arrived as only a two-stack) and then double-charged us on the receipt (for two 2's instead of one 4 stack...and blamed it on her being new but made no apology for the inconvenience). There was an A grade rating posted on the front but inside there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, filthy booths and tables, gnats and flies buzzing over our food, the ceilings were water leak-stained, floors were nasty and had bits of trampled food on them, and the bathrooms had poop covered seats, unflushed toilets, and pee-covered floors around the toilet. I'm not sure who I'm more disappointed with- the IHOP crew or the inspector who gave them an A grade. Doesn't matter- we're not eating there again and don't advise anyone else to eat there either. read more

This seems to be more and more typical at IHOPs. This location was severely under staffed resulting in poor service, long waits and poor quality food. We had to wait as the only apparent waitress scrambled to seat us between attempting to get to all her tables. We got there early afternoon and nearly every table was cluttered with dirty dishes. It took 40 minutes to get our food. The wait person apologized for her manager and stated the cook was out so the manager was now cooking. We had come in just as the breakfast rush left and so while the ticket was up to cook our order, the manager (filling in for the cook) decided to go to the office. Needless to say, everyone in the restaurant was getting their food very later after making their order. My burger was cooked but cold. They had no onion rings so I got the fries. They were warm. My husbands burrito was good. We asked the wait person to have the manager come speak to us. He would not do so. She kept apologizing for him. Quite unacceptable. Let me tell you I was so sad when they got rid of our Dennys because I love me some Dennys breakfast but IHOP changed my mind real quick I absolutely love having breakfast there.. First off let's talk about the service. The hostess that seated us did not want to be there and you could tell. She did not greet us and just walked us to our table and just left without a word. Next our waitress who was polite but too busy focusing on families to really pay any attention to us. We had to flag her down to get refills since our food took over 40 mins to hit our table. Once on the table it was like warm at best. Scrambled eggs were runny and not pleasant. Bacon, how can bacon be bad you ask. We' get it from this IHOP. It was chewy and not in a good way. It looked like it was a few days old and it was room temperature. No crisp, room temperature bacon should be a crime. My meal was Spicy Poblano eggs Benedict. Was not spicy and again the eggs were slimy. Mr Benedict would not want his name attached to what was on my plate. Finally the cleanliness of the place. Can you guess what I am going to type? Place was clean minus the silverware. Look at that wrapped up utensils before you use them. My spoon looked like someone stirred their coffee and put it right back. Nasty! So in summary stay away from here if possible. Your breakfast will become lunch due to the wait and the food will make you sad. read more

I am an employee, and the way they treat there former employees is not far. I witnessed today that they are willing to make up a lie about their employees. I worked with Chris Lewis and I'm scared to reveal myself do to retaliation, but he was a team worker, and manager Cristal told him several times she liked his work performance, which he has recording of this. He was employed by another company and the general manager of IHOP is trying to hurt his career by telling other general managers not to hire him in town that eat at IHOP. The food and the service was really good. Our waitress was on top of things and very personable. One of my better experiences in an IHOP.

I went to ihop this morning with my dad and was told there would be a 25 minute wait. He and I were there for an hour watch staff running around fumbling around with who gets sat first. People had been waiting there a similar amount of time and for some reason didn't have their name wrote down. Kitchen was backed up also so we decided to leave. Quite disappointing. read more

I cant in good faith even give this place even one star. But it wont let me post if i dont. I never post negative reviews. I just dont go back and go about my business. But this was the most ridiculous experience i have ever had. The kitchen was playing heavy metal music so loud as to have several customers complain. The wait staff was yelling in and out of the kitchen and the kitchen staff was hollering back. Literally yelling. Our food took over 35 minutes and was room temp and we were missing several items such hash browns which was supposed to come with the meal!! I made a comment about the luke warm food and the loud kitchen and our server said nothing and then had another server give me the bill. I have never tipped less than 20% as i have been a server and i know how hard it is. But i dont tip rude. So hope you dint spend the $.01% tip in one place. And PS - my omelette was dripping in grease and the hashbrowns were cold. So long IHOP! read more

First visit since reopening.well the food was really good, hot, tasted great. It took them 30 minutes for our order and there were only about 15 other people eating. Two other tables left because nobody waited on them. The cook staff and wait staff got into an argument twice. The manager finally told them to "shut up and do your job", it was almost like eating at Waffle House. read more

Such a disappointment!! Went in at 10:10pm at 10:45 we got up and left because nobody had even come over to take our drink order even after we asked to get someone to serve us. Ladies and Gentlemen: you will love this! I just ate at this leaderless place. Can't call it a restaurant! I walked in, no on greeted me. Thus, I went to the restroom and then walked into the filthy kitchen to asked if they were open? She said yes, showed me and another customer who were waiting to their seats...followed by the waitress' three year old!! The three year old ran all over the place as I ate and was entertained by most of the employees! That's correct: no one greets the customers! The phone rings off the hook but no one answers it...good for business! Tables were dirty with dirty plates still on tables after the customers had departed. Attempted to pay, found waitresses sitting in adjacent room: out of sight-out of mind! Where is the owner or the manager? Just stopped in to eat at IHOP. Have not been to one in years. We saw the new commercial for the $6.99 hamburger - drink - and unlimited fries (hubby's favorite). Wonderful experience and really good burger. Even though they were short staffed we couldn't be happier with the service. You can tell the staffed worked very well with each other - smiles and good attitudes- Smiling Manager was right in there with his staff. After reviewing the menu we are planning our next trip hubby is looking forward to trying Swedish crepes. I wish they had gluten free pancakes, but the omelettes looked really delicious. The restaurant looked and smelled really clean and well taken care of. We recommend stopping in and trying their new hamburger specials! read more

There's not much I can add that others won't already know about this typical IHOP. Great breakfast and dinner food. The only thing I didn't like is that late Sunday night, they steam cleaned the carpets, and the whole restaurant felt humid and smelled like greasy food. They rarely had any workers, but they were polite. Had the wait an hour for food, it was good but the pancakes were kind of burnt.

Rebuilt restaurant is very nice. Same good food. Service is good but not great. Covid precautions makes for in-car waiting at busy times.
