We stopped here at 5.30am on a Monday morning driving back home from Wyoming. While it took a minute to get the waitress' attention, everything else was great: we got a fresh pot of coffee, and our order was correct and didn't take terribly long to come out. My friend's hashbrowns were feasibly well browned, and while they don't have a Denver omelet she was able to do the BYO option though $16 seemed kind of pricey. My eggs Benedict were good too. The English muffin was well toasted, and the hollandaise wasn't overwhelming the dish. This is honestly one of the cleanest IHOPs I have ever been to. It's right before you enter I-70 from Oakley, so it's a great stop if you need to get gas and grab a bite before hitting the road again. Parking was easy since I went on Friday night, there were a few trucks and cars, but nothing too busy with plenty space. I stopped here before heading toward Salina, Kansas, and ended up eating dinner. As soon as I entered IHOP I saw that it was very clean and there were TVs playing sports and advertisements. They also had donation boxes at the entrance with kids stuff for Christmas. I felt the vibe was comfortable and pretty decent to have a quick dinner meal. My husband ordered the big steak omelette with pancakes, and I went with the chicken tenders and steamed green beans. The pancakes and the meat-filled omelette were actually really tasty, moist, flavorful, and they had a good amount of meat and cheese in them. But the tenders were a big letdown. For $14+ you get five tiny pieces, and they were tiny, very salty and definitely the frozen kind, not fresh at all (if IHOP says they're freshly made then they're fooling you). The portion size was disappointing, and when I mentioned it to the server, she brushed it off and said she couldn't do anything, which didn't help. I really thought as a part of customer service she might end up getting at least one bigger one so that I will have better experience with their food but she didn't care. Honestly, the frozen tenders you buy at the supermarket taste better and are way bigger than what they served. If I were you, I would stick to the omelettes next time. They have definitely reduced in size too, but for $16+ they still fill you up and satisfy your taste buds. I would stay away from the other fried dinner items like the fried fish or chicken fried steak. Service overall was okay not rude. I wish our server could have smiled a little more while taking our order or seating us but the food came out pretty fast. Overall, I'd give this place a 3/5 just because the omelette and pancakes met our expectation. read more

This ihop is located at a major truck stop area it seems So the portions I witnessed at this location were almost 2x the amount I got at any other locations. I placed an order over the phone and it was ready in 10 minutes (I got an omelette). I'm usually not a huge fan of ihop due to their high prices, but here I was using company funds so I said whatever. it was worth it though. The reason I felt the need to leave a review was the outstanding service we received from Helen. Wasn't too busy when we got there but it started filling up quickly. fRegardless of the fact Helen seemed to be the only server working at the time, she immediately seated us, took our drink/food order, brought our food to us and did it all with a smile and positive attitude. They sat me down pretty quickly and they took my order pretty quickly which is good. It's the first time that I have ever been in a IHOP attached to a truck stop the decor is pretty standard for a IHOP. They messed up my mothers order she asked for grilled chicken in her salad but she got fried and she had to send her order back they also mixed up the salad dressings between me and my mothers. This place gets 3 stars because the food was amazing instead of 5 because of the mixup and how long it took them to send my mother's salad back out after it was sent back. For the most part, the times I've gone the service has been fairly quick. The food on the other hand is pretty hit or miss when it comes to certain things you order. Of course the pancakes are always delicious, but the burgers and platters on the other hand tend to be not the best. I walked in at 11:30pm one night and was greeted by a very rude employee who had the entire floor moped already. She did not come up to my SMALL group (three people) to greet us, instead snapped and pointed to a table and said "over here" as she rolled here eyes. Tonight the same employee looked at the same group of three, rolled her eyes, shook her finger at us and walked into the back in the middle of mopping the last section of the floor. Five minutes later their manager walks out and says "we r only doing carry out because we close in less than twenty minutes" it was 11:32 when they had finally come to greet us after walking in at 11:26. I have a major rant!!! My son who is a truck driver, Pulled into mittens around close to 10pm. He was cold,hungry, and flat out exhausted after fighting these roads. All he wanted was something good to eat and to get some rest. We met him at Ihop to buy him supper. The waitress was flat out rude!! He ordered some food that was supposed to come with sausage and bacon, it showed up with no sausage, when he asked her about it she stumbled over her words and said " well we don't normally add the sausage unless its asked for" umm if your ordering a meal that comes with sausage then its being asked for!!! She hollered into the kitchen saying he wants sausage, then goes in. Comes out literally 30 seconds later and gives him RAW SAUSAGE!!! it was slightly browned but RAW AND COLD!! then when she took his plates she glared at it because he didn't eat it. We will never go there again!!! Never!!! I've never been so upset and disappointed with a place. And that crap cost me $20!! For coffee and 1 plate of food that wasnt cooked. STAY FAR AWAY, staff is very rude and acts like you're bothering them when you ask for anything. I ordered one of the new mango lemonades and as you can see by the picture. We had a table of 3. Our server Baylee was amazing! She was very polite, prompt, clean(keeping our table clear of finished plates) always making sure our drinks were filled, offered us specials, and deserts after our meal, and even interacted with our child. When coming up to pay I noticed one of the gentlemen from the back cooking area not wearing gloves as he was handing toast through the window. With all the Covid goin around j believe this is very important as it always should be. In our roughly hour and a half dining experience we noticed the lady in blue had only came out maybe 2-3 times, to check on the waiter and waitresses and it got fairly busy around 730pm.
