Great service and the best subs! We had toasted subs and (turkey and provolone and Italian sub).

I stopped here twice on my recent trip to and from Colorado and I do still think it's a four star Jimmy Johns, though, I do have one big complaint. First of all let's start with the good. I maintain that a Jimmy Johns in Colby is amazing in and of itself. I love that you can order ahead in the app and you'll have fresh sandwiches at the ready when you pull up, which when you're on a road trip is both convenient and much healthier than say Mcdonalds. We both dined in and grabbed some to go recently and both experiences were good. The sandwiches were made correctly, and they were pretty fast both times. The store itself is clean, and the staff working is fairly friendly. I had two issues here that are worth noting, however. First of all there is just one toilet for men and one toilet for women. This is standard at all Jimmy John's locations so I get it, the issue here is that Colby is a huge rest stop for travellers along I-70 so the lines can be long. I was really frustrated on my most recent stop as we were waiting in line for probably 15-20 minutes, to the point where I was worried someone may be having some sort of issue, when the person who came out was an employee who had clearly just been playing on her phone. The line for the women's room had backed up way into the restaurant, and she seemed to just not care - that really rubbed me the wrong way. My other big issue was no changing table for a baby. I again had to change my baby in the car which can be less than ideal. Aside from that it's a good JJs - definitely room for some improvement but overall pretty good. read more

This Jimmy John's location was right across the parking lot and street from our hotel - very convenient. Jimmy John's beats places like McDonald's, or Burger King anyday. Staff was great. The sandwiches were exactly as I expected. This location seemed to adhere to all corporate standards - clean, well managed, professional staff and good sandwiches. read more

Hopped off the freeway and pretty excited to grab Jimmy John's spit Italian for lunch. Passed by Subway and a few other fast food spots. Restaurant was very nice, modern and probably fairly new. It's a large space and very comfortable to sit down and have a meal. Staff was friendly and customized our order happily. Sandwich was outstanding...w the addition of extra mayo and lots of Jimmy Peppers! Place was empty, so I hope both locals and travelers will frequent this spot, as it's not out front like the others. read more

Don't ask for anything extra! I asked for a piece of meat and cheese, on the side to give my dog as a treat. I could hear a girl saying, with attitude, that they don't do anything on the side, to the cashier. No one explained anything to me, the cashier never came to clarify anything with me. Shortly after that, I was handed a sandwich. Nothing on the side. I explained what I had asked for, AND paid for, and this was apparently too hard to comprehend. Then I finally get it, and the girl with th attitude, whom never spoke directly to me, speaks up and says just to give me a full refund. At this point, I just left. Seriously, was this so hard? I paid $2 extra for attitude, about 1/4 of a slice of turkey and a piece of provolone. How rude! read more

Perfectly fine Jimmy John's. It was clean, the sandwiches tasted as expected, and the employees were fast and nice. I stopped in here with some apprehension given the previous reviews, but I'd certainly go again when I'm driving through. I also personally think they are better than the other sandwich shop in town. read more

This shop comes as advertised... freaky fast! The workers were hustling during the lunch shift keeping up with both walk-ups, drive thru and online like mine. Even though busy my order was ready when I arrived. The order was accurate including small items such as cutting in half and including napkins. Four stars considering what this is... a fast food sandwich place. Because it's new & CLEAN (and if course, freaky fast) Only 4 bc they don't hv kid sized sandwiches or meals. In fact, they don't do meals at all so everything is priced individually which I think costs more, kinda silly for 2 adults & 2 kids it was almost $40 (we didn't do any extras). read more

This is a nice Jimmy John's location - clean & the staff is very helpful and polite. I am giving it two stars because the woman making our sandwiches was wearing a mask, but it was pulled down so her nose was completely exposed and her mouth was partially exposed. Covid cases are very high throughout the Midwest. This behavior, especially in a direct to customer food service role, is just not acceptable. read more

I love Jimmy John's but this is the worst location I've been to. They put the freaky fast slogan to shame and the employee taking our order would sigh and huff as we ordered. DO NOT GO HERE! Just waited 45 minutes in the drive thru to get my food. There was no apology given, they still tried to charge me for my food and when I refused they acted like I was out of line. First experience and all I can say is... Meh. It's a chain sandwich shop. Place was clean and new building so better be. I must be from another planet cause people are oddly rude to me. Greeted with a how are you doing and I answered and asked back but was then ignored... Zero personality. Similar to the sandwich, With a chain you can't blame the location I would not go to another Jimmy Johns unless the only other thing was a subway as the meats and bread do seem a little better quality. Jimmy John's, you've done it again. In yet another stop with the cross country team, I found myself ordering a sandwich and being vaguely disappointed in the meat quality. After taking a closer look at the salami on my Vito, I have a much better understanding of why people are vegetarians. However, beyond this (and a customer who decided to unloose the caboose on top of the toilet paper in the bathroom- lucky for you there's not a picture...) the experience was pretty good. Another thing I discovered in this small western Kansas town is that capitalism is not without its bread lines. And by this, I mean the day old bread that was being sold for- get this- 49 cents, including tax! Our team was able to clear out the restaurant of all 12 loaves on hand, which can serve as both a weapon and an all-too-filling snack. For broke teenagers, this is one of the best ways to keep yourself full and less prone to other more expensive snack purchases. A fair warning, however; bread crumbs are not the most fun to clean out of a van. All in all, this Jimmy John's did everything one could expect them to: Offer mediocre sandwiches, dirt cheap bread, and a place to do stupid things with friends without too much judgement. read more

We routinely stay at the Holiday Inn Express which is a short walk to Jimmy John's or Taco Johns. If you have to make a choice between these two, Jimmy John's is the better choice. We ordered a single sandwich and split it and a Coke. My wife agrees that because of the freshness of their food, Jimmy's is the place in Colby. Not only is the food better, but the wait time was far shorter than we experienced at Taco's. We are done with the other place ! read more

WOW! I had some leftover au jus and wanted to use it. Stopped in Jimmy John's and asked for the rarest roast beef they had. They went through the entire selection and found exactly what I wanted (love rare beef). Just needed it naked on a roll and out I went. This is apparently a pretty new Jimmy Johns and it's really nice! Friendly folks in there too, for sure!!! We were just passing through and needed to stop for lunch. Just stopped at this new Jimmy Johns off of Exit 53 off I-70 east. Great service, everything was so fresh and well made. Restrooms and restaurant spotless. Employees were very efficient, well trained and friendly. This will always be our lunch break when driving from the Lake of Ozarks or Kansas City to/from Colorado which we do often!
