Went tonight with my family and this business is ran shady! So they have free kid meals 4-10pm I looked up the rules before going and one kid meal per adult meal. So I ordered two and when Paying the kids meals were on the check. So apparently you have to ask them to take it off if not you will be charged. 2nd I ordered the French toast combo (as always) and when I got my plate I didn't have hash browns and I said oh Im just missing the hash browns and she said it doesn't come with it and I said yes I order it every time and she said well I guess they messed up before and said she could bring me some so I said ok that's fine not knowing she would charge me and im assuming this was the manager for the night. So after reviewing my check I'm like look even on the ticket my order says it comes with hash browns and she's like oh it was your husbands that didn't and I'm like oh well you mixed up the plates then and she said oh sorry but didn't offer to take it off. Went last night, food came out in a reasonable time frame, waitress was very nice. She made sure to check on us without being overbearing. Food was delicious, especially the hash browns. Gary H. I know you will probably never read this but you are an asshole, if not just a Grade A POS for not tipping. Listened to a girl yell at her guy last night for not tipping and he justified it by saying he only went in there for a drink so he's not going to tip. Having you order messed up sucks, but waitresses and waiters are not able to modify tickets in nearly ANY restaurant. That's a manager's job, and if the manager is dragging ass, it makes the server look bad. The manager still makes their salary, while the waiter/waitress gets fucked. So fuck you Gary. Don't let shitty reviews like that sway you. This place is pretty solid for the most part, though I would avoid coming in between 2AM - 4AM unless you are extremely bored and are okay with watching drunk people act stupid. Passing through today and stopped for breakfast here. Service is friendly and swift. Pancakes and eggs were just right. Sadly, the hash browns, toast, and english muffin were munchies less desirable. Wheat toast was like biting into cardboard and the hash browns and english muffin were stale and had a horrible after taste of old oil that stuck to your tastebuds. Unfortunately that was a big part of my breakfast so I ate off others. Come for the foods that don't get cooked with oil in a skillet. read more

We usually love Ihop. We were really wanting breakfast for dinner. You would think that should be something you can do easily. It is your speciality. This was my worst IHOP experience. I ordered a Denver Omelet. I had to dig through it to find the small amount of ham, bell peppers and onions. The cheese was 2 slices on top not even melted. I asked to speak with the manager. Explained that the food was certainly not acceptable. She told us she would give us a discount. Please understand, couldn't care less about the money. The discount was $2.99. Went to IHOP on this Friday night with some friends. When we got there, I noticed that it was not very crowded and there seemed to be no wait line. When we told the host we had 6 in our party, he responded by saying, "She (the waitress) is really busy. I'll see if she is willing to serve you." We proceeded to wait for 15 minutes without seeing anyone who could help us. We chose to leave....I understand that sometimes people call in sick and the restaurant may be short staffed, but there were other employees who could have pitched in. IHOP has always been one of our top choices to have breakfast with family, friends or alone. The last time we came to IHOP was a good while back but a good experience, life work kinda took over 5months to return. We came today for a good breakfast, we get the usual, a breakfast sampler, a Philly cheese steak sandwich with fries * don't like eggs..lol Coffee, water and a Orange juice. Unfortunately we have a bad review and a complaint after longer over due of not coming, was horrible! Breakfast sampler: Pancakes were very cold with a hard outer edge, pancakes were rubbery, in my opinion they were precooked set aside for a while, bacon looked like it had been sitting in a puddle of grease just waiting to be ordered. My Philly cheese steak bread was very hard like a bagel *previous visits the bread was fresh and very soft, the cheese was Philly cheese melted with the meat not hamburger cheese slices. Now, the meat looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp, very dry, tough with no flavor. Very disappointing that the cheese was hard and was two slices that was slapped on top of the meat. When I got my food it was cold as well, the cheese fell off when I lifted the sandwich to take a bite. The best thing we can honestly say from our return visit after a long time was our waitress! She was awesome, very attentive, she was coming back just in time every time not an annoying visit making you feel as if she wanted you to leave. I believe return visits are by the way waiters and waitresses make customers feel, very welcome she was one of them. I hope that our next visit turns out to be better than todays experience. IHOP will still be a choice despite the food quality we received today. read more

I was there at 9:07am 7/19/18. I walked into... was not greeted was ignored for about 2 minutes while two teens spoke to each other. One named brandon. I hummed in and said for 1 please. Still without greeting me they grabbed 1 silverware walked over to a table and walked off. I was ignored for 7 minutes until I got a passing waitresses attention as no one was coming to my table nor willing to help me. After being persistent I was ready to order she took my order. Brandon sat me in front by the door he proceeded to greet all other patrons. What a terrible associate. I run 21 stores in Houston and I'm in the process of opening one here in lake jackson. That was the worst experience I've ever had and will never return to this location. The only saving grace on why I finished my meal is the waitress I flagged down took great care of me. I mean it's a retail chain, so I didn't expect 5 star treatment, but typically when I order out or dine in, I usually see at least 2-3 employees in the back smoking and chatting, wait time to sit down is kind of rediculous, especially when there is less than 5 guest inside; and when I take out, I usually get my order wrong. Hostess and manager on duty or watchful and attentive to customers and provided great back up to serving staff. Bussers were prompt and efficient. My family and I recently had breakfast at this IHOP. The wait was about 20 mins or so, but I guess that is expected around 10am on a Sunday. Looked like people were coming in after church. There was 7 of us plus a baby in a car seat. We were a bit cramped. It definitely seems like they try to fit as many chairs per table as possible. The tables are awfully close together and really close to the booths. A lot of squeezing by. The food was good. I think most of us ordered the Breakfast Sampler and were happy with the way everything was cooked. The pancakes seemed a little undercooked, but were ok. Customer service was ok. Overall the experience was just "ok". We'll probably go back to our usual Mexican restaurant next time. read more

Ordered breakfast and staff member realized it was incorrect (gave me sausage versus bacon), immediately, corrected the order and allowed me to keep the sausage without an additional charge. I can't understand why this place is always packed. Every time I come here, it's a horrible experience. I woke up this morning wanting Hash browns the way IHOP serves them. Ordered up, and waited like forever. I was so ready to eat I didn't notice they forgot my hash browns. Waited forever for the ticket, only to find they tacked on an $3 for a side of hash browns that I never got. What's even worse, is the hash browns were supposed to be included in the dish I ordered. Waited like forever for the waitress to come back, and another decade for her to correct the mistake. But, they didn't deduct anything for the missing hash browns. No tip today honey. Geez. I went on a Sunday July 25 at about noon with my son because we were both craving pancakes. The girl that was sitting people just couldn't handle it. I guess sitting people was just to much responsibility for her because she seated one guy and disappeared. She finally walked by and acted annoyed that my son and i were waiting to be seated and said "I'll be right with you" with an eye roll. Then she proceeded to check out a couple that was ready to leave and i was ok with that, but then more people lined up to check out and she just left my son and i standing there for about 10 minutes checking people out before i decided to leave. When she saw us leaving, she didn't ask why we were leaving our ask if there was anything she could do, she just watched us leave.
