I picked up my food from the curbside pick up, and the workers were very polite and made sure my food got in my car safely. The particular employee that helped me was very helpful and patient with me. His name is Alex and I have never had such a pleasant experience when picking up my food from curbside. He was a big help for me because I had so many things in my car. Thankfully, he took his time to organize and ensure that my food would be safe for the drive back home. Very poor experience due to the fact that they have plenty of workers but none that are doing the job they're suppose to be doing. My husband has fond memories of going to Chili's with his mother so I agreed to go, even though I am not a huge fan. Unfortunately, I should have gone with my gut instinct. First of all, due to Covid, there was about a 25 minute wait (due to social distancing of tables)... despite the state opening to 75% capacity, I would say, Chili's was only doing about 40% capacity. Upon seating, I noticed that 7 empty tables within eye sight were un-bussed (dirty dishes remaining on them). Plus, the huge "out door" area, which had to have had 20 tables(?) only had one table seated. Just made me wonder why we had nearly a half hour wait. For food, we ended up ordering 3 orders of chicken crispers. (1 original and 2 crispy). Well, I am regretting getting the crispy because they literally ripped up the roof of my mouth. But I tested my husband's original and bleh! I thought they were inedible. The soft breading tasted like fish to me. Fries were just ok and the corn on the cobb was soggy. The server was friendly. So I have to go down to Lake Jackson for work once a month. My go-to place closes at 2:00PM, so if I don't make it in time, I end up here because it's convenient. Other than that, the service and food quality is just bleh. The staff here seems very unmotivated to do anything. After waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me standing there at the front, I typically order the chips and salsa, southwestern egg rolls, and a coke to go. I feel like it's a pretty simple order, but it always takes 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. My favorite part is when I ask for an itemized receipt and get the infamous eye roll. I really don't think it's that uncommon of a request, and businesses should really just provide that without a special request. I mean, how else are you supposed to know that you're paying for what you ordered? If you have the time to go somewhere else, do that. Clean restaurant and cheerful servers, although on our visit I'm pretty sure they were understaffed. While attentive our server was obviously doing the best she could to keep up. We visited on a Saturday around 1pm it was moderately full. The food did take awhile to be served but was hot and tasted good when it arrived I chose the Chicky Chicky Bleu Bleu, it's a chicken fried chicken sandwich with bleu cheese crumble, I ordered mine without the bread (like my tag line says "I'm a fat kid") but I did indulge in fries cooked extra crisp, I like that they we seasoned with pepper and salt! Chili's is kinda the same everywhere you go with small changes between one restaurant to another. I guess it has to do with location and demographics. This specific location had the feeling of a bus stop and what didn't add to a positive experience was the waitress. She wasn't bad, but she definitely wasn't good. I don't know if it's because she had too many tables to care for or just a bad day but she definitely wasn't on point from start to finish. The food is what you'd expect from a conveyor belt kitchen. Mediocre at best. As we were sitting and talking I couldn't remember when was my last time to visit a Chili's and as this review is written it comes to mind that for me, personally, if I didn't step into Chili's restaurant ever again, I won't feel a great loss in my life. read more

Just skip this place. So disappointed. I had not eaten Chilis in over a year and decided to try it in Lake Jackson. The "to go" service was fine, the $40 worth of food was trashed. The queso had just a few morsels of meat, definitely not what I recall of any other Chili's I've ate at over the years. My "grilled" chicken must have been grilled, toasted, baked and then reheated. It was hard to cut and not edible. My husband's avocados were hard and the dressing was watered down as if they were running low or trying to save a few dollars. Our order was to go so I was not able to address my concerns with a manager. I am not going to contact management as even free food would not bring me back in. I'm assuming all Chilis are going down hill as we've experienced poor food in multiple locations across the state over the last few years...even before Covid. There are too many other places to eat with way better food. I had high hopes this location would be great, but I should have known when the queso looked water down. Have been picking up food from independents mostly during this shut down. Chains have company backing, but I was craving some crispy Southwest egg rolls. Placed an order online. Was instructed it would be ready in 29 minutes. Sounded awfully precise so I took it as legit. Left to be there after 20 minutes to be sure. Had my order in couple minutes and was home in couple more. To my dismay egg rolls we're soggy. Fries were soggy and cold. Sliders and burger needed to be heated up a little. It took 35 minutes to get two hamburgers and when the orders came out both of our orders were wrong. This is without a doubt the worst Chili's I have ever been in and I like Chili's. I've never tried, but if I ever tried drinking toilet water, I now have an idea of what that may taste like. The tap water in this area is AWFUL!!!! My husband and I stopped in for lunch today. Service was attentive. Hubby had beef enchiladas which he judged as good. I had the loaded fajitas. I chose shrimp and carnitas which were both very delicious. The beans and rice were both bland, especially the rice. The flour tortillas had sat under lights or something too long. There were three and they were sticking together and the edges of them were stiff, almost crisp. So I had Tatiana as our waiter, and I must say, the absolute worst service I have ever gotten from Chili's. Sat for 30 minutes and she came by once. Then we had to flag her down to get chips. Then she only came to show that our check was on the electronic pad, which she said "Your bill is on here or something" NOT TO MENTION as she was passing by a separate time I heard her talk to someone on the headset that she "wants to *ucking drop kick this old lady."
