This is a really good IHOP! Service is good and the food too. My pancakes, sausage and eggs were excellent. My dad enjoyed his meal too! My only complaint is that the bacon wasn't very crispy but that is pretty common at IHOP/Denny's. Really good IHOP. read more

So far have been sitting here for over 30 mins and still don't have a glass of water in front of me or silverware or the coffee that I ordered. A server never actually greeted us it took the efforts of three different individuals. Absolute worst service. There were literally only 5 tables in the restaurant and 3 servers on staff, thats just ridiculous and as a server myself it makes it easy to see the lack of training and professionalism. I wouldn't come here if you are in a hurry and trying to get something to eat. It really took away from the fact that the food was actually really good. The service just ruined the experience especially when it took the area director or whoever is above the new manager to get us service otherwise we sat here unnoticed. read more

This is by far the worst ihop we have ever been to. We have been 3 times now and each time has been horrible. It's always dirty, the tables aren't cleaned off and trash all on the floor. Our waitress this time brought our food out wrong and she never returned. She was sitting in a booth on her phone... I'm putting on star just because it's making me in order to post. read more

My job took me Lake Jackson yesterday (1.5 hours from home) and IHOP was a comfortable place for me to decide to eat. I don't know why a lot of people seem to have bad experiences at IHOP, but I always have an enjoyable meal. COVID has changed things and restaurants are only able to seat at 25% capacity, but I didn't have any problem being seated at about 1:00 PM. My waitress was great, my food came out quickly, and was as good as always. Now I only eat breakfast food at IHOP, regardless of the time of day, so I can't really comment on their other entrees. I did once try one of their burgers but it didn't do it for me. I also got a 15% discount for doing a Yelp check-in, which was a nice bonus. The only thing I don't really like is that while I normally drink un-sweet tea with my meals, I find it hard to justify 3 bucks for tea when I usually only get 1-2 refills. I'm an IHOP fan! read more

They get your order wrong a lot. They're slow. Staff needs training on customer service as well. Skip this joint!

I had ordered to go and they took a while to make my food and bring it to me. Even though the food is good, the service is pretty slow.

Food was ok. But I was charged with the drinks, no matter they were part of the offer. I took the classic burger order that include the drink, but they charged to me. Similar with my wife order. I realized after checking the advertise in the TV about the offer two days latter. I went back to the local, just to tell the manager the situation and that do not happen to other customers. She explained to me I were right, that the drink remove from the bill is the manager responsibility and maybe not be there when closed my bill. Anyway, just to let the customers notice to check their bill in advance and verify before entering in this kind of over charge. read more

This restaurant is horrible to say the least. We came in on a night when the restaurant was virtually deserted yet was given an unwelcome stare down by who we assumed was a server lounging in the dining area...she took one look at us and loudly (including a sarcastic eye roll) stated "f**K, it's going to get busy". We then discovered this person was a cook in the restaurant. Yikes! we should have got the clue then to high-tail it outta there...IHOP is ordinarily nothing special. you know what to expect but this really took the cake..or in this case don't take the cake! read more

Doesn't even deserve one star after the service me and my boyfriend had last night. There wasn't anybody at the front to greet us and we had to wait about five minutes for our waiter to even sit us and then our waiter didn't even bother to put our order in and waited probably 15 minutes to give it to another waiter all because she was getting off soon. Just because you're getting off soon doesn't give you a right to ignore your customers. We arrived at IHOP around 9:00, left at 9:24 because we never received our food only waters and our waiter tried to stop us as we were leaving...I'm sorry but I live an hour away in League City and I haven't had anything to eat since 9 that morning and I'm a hairstylist who had been on my feet all day I don't have time to wait an hour for my food. I didn't get home till midnight last night all because of this incident...let's just say you won't be getting any service from me and my boyfriend for a while. Also my boyfriend called twice to speak to the manager and nobody answered, you should really think about fixing that problem. There should be someone at the front at all times or at least have someone to watch it. read more

My husband and I went to Ihop tonight. July 25, 2015. We ordered 2 steak Omlette's. When it was brought to us; we realized that they took 2 eggs, folded them over and put a little steak and cheese over it. That is NOT AN OMLETTE! We paid $28.10. I was so disappointed. read more

I always got a nice and hot breakfast when I lived in LJ. Shorty is one of the nicest people that work there. She was always very attentive and courteous. The other wait staff should be taking notes. She makes sure everything gets done. She works very hard for very little money. I wonder if she is still there? Anyhow, the food is good, service is good. Sometimes you will get a show from the drunk people that show up in the wee early morning hours. The wait staff do what they can to calm them down. Hi shorty! Thanks for being great! read more

Been here a couple of times and the service is good and the waiters and waitresses are good. The only place where this IHOP in general fall short is there stocking issues. By that I mean me and several people make the joke that you need a backup choice. That joke is actually relevant because every time I've been here they did not have the first choice I wanted. The last time I went they didn't have bananas so no banana foster. Before that they didn't have chicken tenders, and then another item we tried to order the same day. I would say if you're a fan of IHOP and want to stop in to this one have a backup choice. read more

A restraunt open to its customers for sit down service 24-7, such as IHOP, is rare in Brazoria county, and more are needed. Normally, service and food is quick and warm enuf, but expect to lounge awhile when its crowded. A fav with police, noisy families, and high schoolers, etc... everyone is pretty comfortable. Depending on your taste buds, you will find plenty of food choices to like. As for me, I luv the healthy, fresh, hudge spinach salad with grilled chicken, boiled egg slices, cheese' n bacon bits...yada -yada. Wait was about 30 minutes, normal for a Sunday around 11:30am. After our wait, we got seated, and waited an addition 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, by our waitress, Tiffani, who passed our table 4 times, without even introducing herself, apologizing for the wait, or asking for our patience while she assisted other customers. A couple seated behind us asked their server to find ours as they had seen us waiting for quite some time. After she took our drink order it was an additional 10 minutes before they were brought to us. The tea was hot and had barely any ice once it arrived at our table. Once we received our food, we asked for syrup and ketchup. Neither arrived within a reasonable time, so I requested to speak to the manager. Once the manager arrived my food was too cold to even eat, considering I didn't have any condiments to eat it with. The other four people at our table were able to finish most of their food without it, and I never got to eat my food, which was only going to be "reheated" instead of recooked. I declined the request, at which point the manager removed my food and gave a 15% discount. Still very unsatisfied as I left hungry after waiting nearly an hour to eat. Another couple seated beside us also complained about the same server, as she was everything short of polite and attentive. read more

Got to I HOP around 12 noon. Both my husband and I ordered the turkey and dressing dinner from the 55+ menu. I was very clear in asking the waitress to make sure the food was brought out hot. Most times I have been there lately I have had to ask them to heat the food again. Anyways, at the back booth there were at least 5 employees (including the manager) who were looking at a menu from another establishment deciding what they were going to order. Our food was brought out, no salads before the meal which I ordered. I asked about the salads and she said she knew and she hadn't made them yet. I told her to forget the salads, I had assumed she would bring them before the main course. The food was to say the very least, like warm. Having been in the food service industry, I know that turkey and dressing needs to be heated above 145 and 165 if it is reheated. The plate wasn't even warm. I interrupted the "discussion" at the table where the manager and her employees were sitting and explained the problem. No apology from her, just can I get you something else. My response, no thank you...you have done enough and we left. It is pretty sad when EVEN YOUR EMPLOYEES ORDER TAKE FROM ANOTHER ESTABLISHMENT and neglect THE CUSTOMERS WHO are WAITING. read more
