Service was great. Was welcomed by a nice young lady who offered us a free loaf of sourdough bread…read moresince, according to her, all first timers get a free loaf of bread. The restaurant was quiet and very tidy. Everything was orderly and clean. Food arrived quickly The only reason why this place isn't getting 5 stars is because the food could've used a little more seasoning. The quiche was under salted, and the French onion soup my wife got, was over salted. The salad had too much dressing and too little nuts. But the potato soup was the star of the show. Good soup.

Unfortunately, this location was disappointing. The staff wasn't very welcoming or friendly, and…read morethe service was extremely slow. We ordered French toast, which took about 35 minutes to come out. For a fairly simple breakfast order, that's way too long of a wait. I usually enjoy La Madeleine, but the lack of friendly customer service combined with the long wait made this visit frustrating. Hopefully they can improve the service and make guests feel a little more welcome.

You have to visit to bathe in the ambiance! (Pictures) Our meal consisted of the Beyond Burger (vegan) with Sweet Potato Fries. You know when the Sweet Potato Fries are nicely crisp and holds up, then it's all good! The vegan burger was mediocre but filling. Would go down well if it was charbroiled. The hubby had the Fried Chicken Salad. Understand, we are two different people, so our palate food is totally different. With that being said, he felt the salad or chicken needed some more flavor or seasoning as well as the salad needed to be a little more hearty. Last but not least was the Peanut Butter Cookies. So delicious that I can imagine how amazingly delicious they would be if they were hot! To be fair, we'll be back for some more delicious food. Later Gator!
