I ordered my food online. I followed the process to pick it up curbside. I called and the phone rang and rang and rang. I noticed an employee walk by and I asked him if he could ask someone inside to answer the phone because I was calling to let them know I was here for my curbside pickup. He went back inside and finally the phone was answered only to be hanged up immediately. I called back and the phone was no busy. I called back several more times and the phone was still busy. I finally went in and told them what was going on and of course they acted like they had no clue. I asked to speak to the manager and he was no help. I told them I wanted my money back and didn't want the food and they wouldn't give me money back because I had ordered it online for curbside pickup. Very very poor service! read more

Dennys is for sure superior to the ihop here in lake Jackson. All the food was good and accurate to what we wanted. The service was great all around the man who served us was made for serving for sure. The ambiance was great very cozy very comfy it wasn't as loud as ihop usually is a plus is the fact that the table was clean when we sat down. read more

This place should be closed!!! My wife and I were the only customers in the place at 5 in the afternoon, that should have been a clue to go somewhere else. We had to wait nearly 40 minutes for food . The food was terrible. The chicken was rubbery that I had. My wife's breakfast food was the greasiest food I have ever seen. I was going to tell them that I wouldn't pay but the waiter was nice and that's the only reason I did not tell the "Manager" or whoever was giving out orders to the to the "Staff" about the terrible food and time it took to arrive as again we were the only ones in the place. The "manager" Or again who was giving out orders was appearing to be running a bit of a babysitting service of some kind. She had a bunch of kids in a booth when not running around the kitchen and everywhere else. It's a joke and I would laugh but I'm out the money. Again close this place down. This is a difficult review to write. The food we eventually received was very good. But the overall service was basically non existent. If you want to try your luck and understand that you may have poor service feel free. The pancakes are cooked to perfection. The hash browns also were done up nicely! Wow, I've been to numerous Denny's in different states and this one was the worst. I know it s locally owned but the staff needs lots of training. The food was cold and pancakes hard. Numerous tables had dirty dishes stacked up. My waitress was distracted, and more concerned with talking to the guys in the back to hell with the customers. I've never seen anything like this. I saw three other groups come in, eat, pay and leave before I could even finish my meal. I won't be back and I wonder how much longer they can stay in business. read more

So much for getting my order right. Thank gosh we are our to go in the parking lot cause the entire order was wrong. I asked for sausage and got bacon. I went in to have it corrected only to come out and my daughter tells me they forget to put her hash brown in the bag. She goes in to get her hash browns but when she starts to eat they've got mushrooms in her dish she clearly asked them to omit. Friendly staff. Zero wait time to be seated and to order. Great value from the 55+ section on the back page of the menu. Scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy and cheesy. Pancakes were good except my bottom one had something burnt from the grill on it that made part of it taste funny. 3 different employees made a point to acknowledge and/or converse with me. I was there as a single dining customer. It was extremely slow so, you'd expect decent service however this was not the case. I ordered an ultimate omelette with jalapenos, that part of the meal was great however, the hash browns and the toast could've been a bit more browned in my opinion but, that's not my chief complaint. My main issue is that my server was lacking basic hospitality etiquette. I finished my drink took the straw out and set it at the end of the table to signal I needed a refil. My drink sat there for 10 minutes I watched my server pass by a grand total of 5 times before fill it. When I confronted her about her passing and not filling it she responded with well I was on the other side so I didn't see. she took a nonchalant approach to it like she didn't care. It's highly unprofessional and looks poorly on the company as a whole. Tried to come a 2nd time with the kids and they couldn't seat us together as a party of 6. After 10 minutes of waiting at our table, we left because they hadn't taken our drink order. Denny's better get it together or what happened last time will happen again and it'll go out of business. Go elsewhere if you're thirsty and hungry when you arrive. Unfortunately this restaurant is filthy. When asked to clean our table, the waiter wiped around the items on the table. We used sanitizer wipes to clean after his cursory wipe and the wipes kept coming up with green mold on them. The staff by the kitchen had their masks around their necks, not covering anything. The "clean" silverware was filthy. Our shoes stuck to the floor with every step we took. This place needs to shut down and do a deep clean on everything. :-( read more

Ordered coffee and waited 25 minutes to order food before finally giving up and leaving. Also the coffee had horrible taste.

We had a good server but the food was very cold. I had French toast and it was cold on the inside of the bread. Then add cold syrup. My scrambled eggs had turned a different color, they were cold on top and barley warm on the plate. The bacon is see through with no flavor. I will not be coming back. read more

Talk about taking over!!! I arrived at the Dennys Lake Jackson facility and after a few minutes sitting right in front of the kitchen the entire staff realized their only chef just left!! I usually enjoy Denny's. When you're hungry and want a meal and some coffee, Denny's will do. But this place is just 'lacking'. Visited an empty joint save a few other customers, sat and ordered drinks. 5mins later we get a soda, 10mins later we get our coffee. How did two drinks take 15mins?? And why do you only get a single small mug of the coffee?? The took far too long to cook, and was awful when it arrived. Eggs were runny, quality of the food was cheap, just poor all around. Denny's is a good 24 hour go to for classics. The jalapeño bacon and milkshakes are great treats! The service can be a bit slow but works.

We went for dinner on Valentine's Day. We were seated promptly but the service was terrible. They weren't that busy and they had plenty of staff. I had to ask 3 times for a cup of ice. Our food was cold and wasn't cooked the way I asked. I saw several customers sending their food back, so it wasn't just me being picky. I'm usually very forgiving with servers, I've been there. My take is, they just really need some decent training from experienced Denny's servers and/or management. Hopefully they will improve. But it will be a while before I go back. read more
