Haven't been to this branch in a while but it was a good experience. Food: yum in the tummy! Service. Quick . Ambiance: casual and cool .

This place is my go to breakfast spot for years. this restaurant in particular is located in foster city. I've noticed how well manage the facility is, as it is kept neat, clean and highly organized. It does gets busy but it doesn't take long to get seated. The staff are friendly and accommodating. of course, as always, they have varieties of options to choose from on their menu and every single time I've tried something it always comes fresh and made just the way I like it. every requests I have specifically on my food options due to my diet restrictions have always been fulfilled without hesitations or concerns. The manager, has always come around to say hello and check on everything which I appreciate. that's why I won't hesitate to return to this place at anytime I feel the cravings for some good morning breakfast to start my day.

Every time I come in, it's always clean. Very cool staff, I met a new server named Madeline. Also another server named Tony pretty funny guy. I couldn't find a meal with just egg meat or hash brown but they were able to get me combo exactly how I wanted. Quick and delicious :) will be back again soon ! Probably the first good IHOP I've been to.

Manager was waiting for us when we walked in with 2 menus, sat us and took our drink orders. Served came promptly and took our orders. Food was fast, hot and tastes great!Service was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Arrived with a pretty sizable group (10) people in total a simple breakfast. This location seemed the best location for group size, parking and convenience. Fairly easy to get to and the staff was very accommodating. Now keep in mind this is an IHOP so it is not a place that serves high and brunch or breakfast, but they get the basics done fairly decently. There was a substantial order from us from Sunnyside up eggs, to the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and greens, to the stack of pancakes, a fruit, medley, cold, iced coffee, brew, and another assortment of basic breakfast delights. Our waitress, (Briana), was so sweet, polite and professional. She handled our large group with ease and made sure we were always taken care of. We never had to search for her or even wait to put I. Any request with her. She was truly the best part of this experience. I hope she gets recognized for her amazing professionalism. The food was the definition of basic or as the kids say (mid) Lol. I do want to be clear and say that that is no disrespect to the hard-working chefs here. But it's a chainRestaurant. I know I am not going to get the best ingredients and flavors from an IHOP. My flavor palette won't be ignited at a place like this but it's a good value and convenient for what you get. Overall, 2.5 or 3 of 5 is the best just for the food. Although, there is plenty to parking, a clean dinning area and delightful staff. The food is the main focus and the review speaks for itself.

I went to I-Hop that day to try to eat. I checked the maps to see if they accepted pets, and it says they are welcome pets. When I arrived, they didn't let me in because they aren't allowed inside. I showed the person the map description, and they simply said, "We don't have control, but we don't accept pets," and we had to leave. I called the I-Hop in South City and asked, and they did accept my pet. I don't understand why they don't provide the same information and service!

Ok, it's not gourmet but it's always really really good! I think IHOP pancakes are the best, you can't change my mind love their other food too, like crepes, omelettes and burgers. And their Happy hour prices are fantastic!

Went to IHOP in Foster City this morning for a team breakfast. I ordered the T-bone steak and eggs with a side of strawberry banana French toast. The food was just okay, nothing impressive. The quality wasn't great, especially for the steak. However, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly, which made the experience better. Overall, a decent chain spot if you're looking for a casual breakfast, but don't expect anything special.

this place seems like a new building. The service was too. Mr. Tony was a very nice service and very prompt and paid attention to all his tables. Funny guy too ! The food was fresh and tasty. Im a Texan so I had to get the chicken fried steak. The ambience was nice and calm and very clean. Con: parking. Is around the back of the building. My mom has a handicap parking I just found it strange how the handicap parking is at the back of the building . It's a bit of a walk for a handicap person . But this place is still worth it. Thank Tony !

What's there to not like about ihop? The reason you're going here is because of the predictable taste and service and cheap but quality food. Got the omlette and pancakes as a side. 10/10. Would absolutely come here! The foster city one has a cozy, non franchise vibes, with lots of locals. The ambiance is vibrant. Service was great! Great spots with kids. Fuss free eating and dining at very reasonable prices. Paid $32 for a nice breakfast, would be exactly double outside.

Long overdue! I've been coming here once every few months for their breakfast and the food and service is excellent! Depending on the time and day that you go there may be a wait, but lately there has been no wait which is nice. Service: 5/5, the nice host greets you, waiters and waitresses check in and are very nice and friendly. Food: 5/5 always tastes great here so that's why we keep returning! Parking: there is parking but the parking spots can be a little narrow/small. Overall: will be returning!

Showing my age when I suggested House of Pancakes to my husband who said do you mean IHOP? Well, of course, haven't been in years (Foster City location). Updated interior, nice and fast service, clean, and a $7 breakfast menu from 7 am to 10pm. Yes, $7 ! The food was good. Coffee was as I remembered. Still served in a carafe. We enjoyed our omelette, fluffy pancakes, eggs and bacon for half the price. Simple, nostalgic, and so affordable. Wish there was a House of Pancake closer to home.

My favorite breakfast Rise & Shine! I've known my server Ozzy for 20 years! Always excellent service! This Foster City location is welcoming and the food is prepared just the way I like it. It's family friendly and casual. I've been coming here occasionally for decades!

What was the cherry on top for me was the sweet potato tots which lives rent free in my head! It's so crispy and has the nice natural sweetness to it that you don't even need ketchup! What was a second contender for my order was the chicken and waffle which looked so crispy and well presented... and definitely what I'm going to get next time! Our host was very attentive in managing the daunting looking long line in front of the restaurant, but no matter what, it only took about 15-18 minutes for us to get seated. She hands out menus for you to study before you get inside. Good call. Once seated, you'll enjoy a bright contemporary interior with the usual light wood accents and pretend ivy leaves along a wall or two. The seats are comfy with the wooden looking tables, but best of all, we enjoyed our selections to the fullest. Busy energetic vibe here! Even with a relatively full restaurant, it only took about 10 minutes after our orders for our entrees to appear before us. The WHITEOUT - Egg White Omelette with spinach, basil, mushrooms, little bits of red peppers, melted mozzarella on the inside with a healthy amount of feta cheese sprinkled on top. I wasn't expecting too much, but this was surprisingly good down to the last bite. For sides, I went with the default "rainbow" potatoes, which were basically diced fried red and white potatoes and the default mixed greens salad with a vinaigrette dressing. Both sides were the perfect contrast to the eggs and melted mozzarella and spinach. YUM. Easy 5/5! YUZU LEMONADE - enjoyable with a bit of mint leaf, maybe I'll ask for a little less ice. I wanted something a bit more Yuzu, but this was decent. (3.6/5) My dining compatriots enjoyed the Vegan Lover great tofu!), Thai Tea French Toast, Ube Pancakes and Chicken Croffle. No complaints from the gallery! =) Nice presentation throughout and caring cheery service! I'm looking forward to coming back here again soon to try out the Yaki Udon, which was my runner-up to my meal selection today!
