We ordered pretty quickly and the food came out fast. He checked on us one time after a different person brought us the food. The service was mediocre. We never even got a refill on our drinks. Twice I've tried to visit, no one was there to greet me. Both times I waited so long for someone to just seat and acknowledge me. I left both times. Once I had a pickup order and there were 3 ladies to greet me but never did. They talked amongst themselves and I had to interrupt to ask about my order. Very unprofessional. It's funny. I commented that this IHOP had 3.5 stars which was a lot for an IHOP. They always have bad reviews but good food. They were on their abbreviated overnight menu, which is small. That was fine. I ordered the 2x2x2. Two eggs, two pieces of sausage or bacon (I ordered bacon) and two pancakes. I ordered my eggs over well with the yellow busted and cooked hard. My husband order his scrambled well. We also ordered coffee and water. We got coffee but no water. When the food came my eggs were runny. My husbands were fried and runny. He could eat his. I could not. I cannot stand runny eggs. The guy apologized and requested the cook make another order of eggs. When they arrived, they looked better, but when I cut into them they were runny. If you can't cook an egg, you shouldn't be cooking at an IHOP! I ate a few bites of cold pancakes and we left. The restrooms were closed, but I did see at least two employees go into the restroom. I guess along with the limited menu, the bathroom is limited as well. I've never been to an IHOP I didn't like. But this one will go down as my first. If you're going to stay open 24 hours, treat those of us who come in overnight (11:30) as well as you treat the customers who eat during the day. read more

The food was perfect. 5 Stars. Biscuits and Gravy, Pancakes and Hash Brown's. The food came out quickly. I asked for hot syrup, and I am used to getting it in the solo cups. My waitress took the syrup container from the table and warmed it up. Okay, maybe protocol has changed. Your only napkin is what's wrapped around the silverware, so once you remove it, you have to place your silverware on your plate. My waitress watched me finish my food and never brought the check. She takes orders from other customers and continues the conversations with personal information. I'm still sitting there waiting on my check. So basically, I had planned on giving her a big tip, but it was reduced to $3 for talking too much and lacking attentiveness and wasting my time. read more

Loved this IHOP. If you know me, I'm very stingy with my stars. I believe that service weighs more than product, thus service is what I base most of my ratings on. This IHOP location earned 5 stars because everyone was super friendly and engaging. They had a mature blonde woman in the lot guiding traffic and taking reservations for tables. I want to say her name was Trish, but I honestly forgot as this review is a week late. Once inside you were asked to wait while your table was prepared. The wait was less than 5 minutes. The restaurant was very busy however. Our server was very friendly and personable. She offered our drinks and suggested menu items for my kid. I had an omelette and she had a kids menu pancake meal. I'm not sure if the shocking friendly service made the food taste better, but my omelette was delicious. I have had omelettes from ihop before, and I'm usually disappointed, but this was super enjoyable. Totally recommend checking out this location with your family. All I can say is averageeeee. We eat here maybe 1 or 2 times a month, some days are better than others. Pretty busy, which is usual for a Saturday morning. We waited maybe 15 minutes? They seem to be on top of their tables and are pretty good about getting you seated quickly. Today I had 2 eggs, bacon, and toast. Everything was kind of lukewarm and they forgot to butter my toast. They brought everything out to me on three separate plates, which I thought was weird hahaha. My stepson had a pancake with the fruit face, which he's always happy about, so no complaints there! I have a view of the kitchen though and have been watching them stick plate after plate in the microwave... Attached is a picture of some pancakes I had on a precious visit! I went to this IHOP for breakfast and it was a very pleasant visit. I'm from out of town and wanted some IHOP pancakes SOOO bad, so I found this one on yelp. My waitress was Jillian, she was very nice and accommodating. Very pleasant spirit and customer care. She tended to me and my children and family's needs in a timely fashion and I never had to sit looking around wondering where she was. I really enjoyed this visit. Next time we come down I'll definitely return to this IHOP. The only annoying thing was the worlds most aggravatingly that seemed to only want to be around our table and food. A few coworkers and I decided to grab a bite to eat after work. It's 7 am on a Monday so it's not busy. There are four adults and one child. We were tucked away in the corner of a nearly empty restaurant under the blasting AC. It's 49 degrees outside(but it felt like 12). Jessica (our server) takes our order. It's national pancake day so, naturally, we all order our free stack of pancakes with our meals. 3 of us ordered our meals with the drink order. We stick to what we know. My coworker asked for her pancakes before the meal(like an appetizer). Jessica's face didn't really seem okay with that request, but as a waitress, she nodded and said okay. Anywho! Jessica is in the kitchen for 3 minutes before she screams "they want their pancakes first" as if she wanted us to hear and almost instantaneously, the kitchen staff is staring at our tiny little corner area. Serious eye contact going on!. I didn't like 98% of my customers but I was their favorite barista because I made their every visit to my store personal and welcoming. There are only 7 parties here Jessica! Why are you screaming so loudly to a man less than 2 feet away from you? Yes, I know from experience that a kitchen is loud but everyone here is already eating so he's only cooking our food right now. She returns with the drinks, took the remaining orders. The food came super fast so kudos chef. Jessica drops the food off, made sure we had what we needed and disappeared for 25 minutes. IHOP's are small so I could see Jessica and I'm aware she saw me flagging her down and heard me calling her name. I even sang "oh Jessica, how I need your assistance" a few times. She finally decides that we're worth the trouble and bothers to visit our little pocket space. We asked for receipts, to-go boxes, and placed an order to go. She was aware we were ordering extra to-go prior to the initial order . She takes the order and 20 more minutes go by with no to-go boxes, refills or checks. She returns with the manager to say, once again, we can't take pancakes to-go. We understood that the first 6 times. Furthermore, THE TABLE IS FULL OF FOOD and I didn't appreciate your fingers pointing at it. We got full off of the free pancakes so we didn't really touch our food. Jessica brings 5 tiny boxes to fit: 2 full Colorado omelets, 2 orders of NOT FREE pancakes, half of a country omelette, an order of hash browns, a full kids colorful something and Whatever the other guy had. She said they were being told not to use the other boxes although our to-go orders came in full size containers. She then proceeds to say that they only take payment at the table. Now Jessica, darling, I come here enough to know that payment is taken at the front. Also there were guests paying at the front when I came in? Why were we different Jessica? So this location is definitely on my no- go list, but to be honest, this experience kind of puts a bad taste in my mouth for IHOP as a brand. I've always liked IHOP. The service is good, the ambiance is nice and causal, and the food is pretty good. However this one in particular only gets 3 stars for 3 reasons. One is they're inconsistent with their food. What I mean is some days the food is awesome, but other days the food is disgusting. One time my mom order hashbrowns and they tasted great, but the next day she ordered them again and they were gross. She tried again the day after and they were still gross. Restaurants usually try to make the food taste good every single time so customers will always enjoy it. Waffle House always has good tasting food no matter what day, so they're successful for being consistent. The second reason is the waitstaff isn't always attentive when it comes to orders. One time my mom ordered an omelet and asked them to add spinach to it, but when she got her omelet there was no spinach. The next day she asked again with the same special request, still no spinach. This continued for a few weeks until they finally got it right. I don't know if the server was distracted or if the chef was having an attitude, but constantly messing up a simple order is unacceptable. The third reason is there was an incident involving me ordering my usual french toast. Yesterday my mom and I ordered our usual food. When I was about to eat my french toast I noticed something stringlike like hanging off of it. It was a red hair! I knew it wasn't mine because my hair is brown, plus I was wearing braids. I was disgusted, and when I told my server what happened she took my food back but it took almost 30 minutes for the chef to make a new batch for me. Luckily my mom reported the incident to the manager and she gave us the french toast for free. Now I have to double check to make sure there's nothing in my food the next time I eat there. They're lucky I'm nice or else I would have done what most people do and caused a scene and forced them to give me a free meal. My overall opinion is this is a great restaurant, just double check your food the next time you take a bite out of it. read more

This is my favorite location. I do visit the Hapeville location as well but this one always prepares my food and it looks just like the menu. I'm always amazed! They get a #1 sticker from me!!!! I have not had anything from this menu that was not good. My BF has also eaten several items from the menu and loved it all. I have had Chicken and Steak Omelette, Hamburger, Steak meals, Grits, Pancakes. Even the tea is good. read more

IHOP is a crowd pleaser, they have something for everyone. The good folks at Douglasville IHOP always seem to make people feel welcomed with their smiles. I did notice, however, during the last event they were givibg a free short stack it was feeling mighty brisk in there. The young lady hinted at the fact they did that because so many people come in for the free stack, dont buy anything (or tip), spend forever sitting and are rude so it deters loitering. This IHOP was a pretty solid one. I frequently visit IHOPs around the country and this one did not slack on its pancakes which I have begun to notice. The omelette swerve tasty, ingredients tasted fresh, meats and pancakes were warm and well proportioned, and the tea was good quality. Service was also good and friendly. I would definitely return to have more breakfast. If you're out there placing a specialty pancake on top of buttermilk pancakes I'm watching you! This is a description of what I ordered: Fantastically fresh and totally Tuscan-inspired. Sweet basil, roasted red peppers, garden-fresh spinach and diced ripe tomatoes with Parmesan all atop fluffy scrambled eggs, Now I'll begin from the beginning, we were treated and seated promptly. Server took out drink order: coffee, orange juice two waters with lemon. She returned with our drinks, set the coffee and OJ on the table. Then she sets one of the waters on the table and the lemon falls off the glass and onto the serving tray. She quickly picks the lemon up and put it back on the water glass, as if I didn't see it. We ask for Splenda she slides a container of sweetners across the table it had three packets of Splenda. So we asked for additional, she plopped them down on the table. Now for my food- the description says the items are served on top of the eggs. Nope the spinach and roasted peppers were cooked in the egg, and cold diced tomatoes were piled on top. No basil to be found, and the spinach was not chopped but whole. I guess that's a matter of preference. There there was no seasoning in the fish it was rather bland. Pancakes were so cold they would not even melt butter. read more
