Kya (sorry Kya, not sure of the spelling of your name) was our bartender. What a sweet and wonderful gal. She was very attentive and made a great drink. Monique was one of the manager's there this evening and she too was very sweet. Spoke to her for probably close to 30-minutes (a little slow this evening at the restaurant). Red Lobster was once one of my favs but something's have drastically changed. I do understand that the last 3 years have changed the world drastically so nothing is really the same not even the taste/flavor of the food. The service was exceptional our waiter was amazing. The atmosphere was good you could tell not many servers were working because there were so many empty dirty tables. Where do I start .... I received one refill. I immediately starting feeling sick to my stomach after eating! I woke up this morning absolutely sick. My girlfriend has the same symptoms ! As I was eating I noticed that the Alfredo looked like it was full of grease. Little grease bubbles everywhere ! And last but not least , the pricing. I've had better meals At captain D's ! Yesterday I went to Red Lobster but it was not my intention to go there but im glad I did. We were supposed to go to Sea Breeze next door but the parking lot was full and customers were waiting outside. It was hot and we were hungry so that was a no go. Next up..Red Lobster. We have never had a bad time here. We were immediately greeted and seated. This has to be the only Red Lobster with no wait time in the area. This one is located in Douglasville. Absolutely no one in the lobby Teresa was our greeter and our server. She was great. Pleasant, humor and knowledgeable about the new dishes. We ordered our entrees. Skipped appetizers and drinks this time. We just knew we were going to wolf down the biscuits. The biscuits were not the usual melt in your mouth. Hardly any garlic, cheddar or butter on them and they were hard. I had the platter that had broiled shrimp, Fried butterfly shrimp, crab legs, and a lobster tail with rice, potato and broccoli. Where the biscuits lacked the seafood made up for it. The lobster and crab legs were tender and sweet omg they were so good. I really enjoyed myself. The restaurant was kind of empty when we got there but it picked up the pace. I would gladly come back here. We were even told to have a nice night. Everyone was wonderful. read more

I went yesterday with my children for lunch. It was a steady crowd, but not busy. We were seated by the hostess's when we walked in, but the section of the restaurant we were seated in seemed to be where EVERYONE was sitting. Ot smelled of unclean wash rags or a mop as well... NOT appetizing to say the least. My kids pointed out the smell a few times , so I knew it wasn't just me. My waitress was nice, but it was clear she was struggling due to helping other servers around , with big parties or being sat back to back. I don't think its really fair that I gave them a 2 star, I never eat at Red Lobster since I live in Atlanta and can visit real seafood restaurants, but my latest boy toy wanted to go to for the Endless Shrimp special they run yearly and we were in the area, and since I wasn't paying, we went in. There were a few things that could have been more impressive and would have ranked them 3 stars. It was about 5pm on a Friday and I could see the place was going to start filling up. The hostess told us that we would be sat in about 15 minutes but it was more like 2. I'm serious, he went to the bathroom and hadn't even come back out yet, when she came over to lead me to the table. Our first table was near a large party with at least 6 small kids in the mix, I declined that table and requested to be sat somewhere there were no kids. She led me to another section, and in general there were some small kids in the area, but the were multiple tables away. Knowing this in advance, you would have thought she would not have sat any other families near us with kids, but before the dinner was over there was at least 6 other kids in the area and one set of three sat a booth over from us. Our server Jordan, was pleasant and kept on top of everything we needed, after she explained to my friend how busy the endless shrimp promotion keeps them running, we both felt sorry for her and went with other dishes. I chose the Create Your Own (CYO) with Sea Scallops and Crab Legs, he went with the Crab Seafood Bake. Let me state, she didn't tell us about to promo to deter us from ordering it, just explained how long it runs, how often its ran and joked that she pretty good at telling how many additional servings a guest will have. The crab legs in my dish were small in size and I told my friend, if I'm ever taken to Red Lobster again, I'd surely go with the Crab Seafood Bake. It was plentiful with crab legs, shrimp, scallops, red potatoes and corn on the cob. I ordered a side of green beans. They were the saddest green beans I ever seen or ate. I swear I would have sent them back but my guy was like, he doesn't believe in sending food back to the kitchen, so I just left them sitting on the table. The cost of my CYO starts at $17.99 but there was a $2 up-charge for scallops and $2.79 up-charge for crab legs. The menu states there is an extra charge for those items so I wasn't surprised. He REQUESTED a side of white rice with his dish and was bought out a wild rice pilaf, when we asked about the white rice, we were told they only have wild rice. Would have been nice to mention that when we placed the order, but again, he doesn't believe in sending food back to the kitchen. Near the end of the meal a guy came over and asked how everything was, and since everything was just okay, we didn't mention the rice or the green beans, just paid the tab and left. read more

This was the worst experience ever at a Red Lobster. the wait was too long, the order was wrong, and the food was cold. Since today is Mother's Day, we decided to pick up a to go order at the Red Lobster in Douglasville on Bill Arp Rd to avoid crowds due to the Coronavirus. We placed the order online and received a reply that the order would be ready at for pick up in 25 minutes (3:29 p.m.) We arrived at the restaurant and the order was not ready. We waited for an hour before the food was ready. Everything was chaotic and social distancing was definitely not being adhered to properly. People were packed around the to-go area waiting for orders. When our order came out, we took it and drove home. To our dismay, when we open the food we did not have half of what we ordered. additionally, the food was cold so it had to be sitting in the back for quite a while. What can I say? I am just not a red lobster fan. I think their food are mediocre and over priced. We went there on a Saturday night, and was not too impressed. The place was nowhere near packed, and we still waited for a table for about fifteen minutes. The ladies bathroom was very dirty, and honestly, I was not too impressed with the decor. I suggest to never ever order the crab stuffed flounder ... now, I have NEVER sent food back in my entire life, and I had to send that plate back. The frozen fish fillets that I get from walmart and cook myself is a million times better... this CRAB STUFFING they put in there was...,just a sad sad thing... i hope they rename it a crap stuffing. We didnt bother to re-order and just shared one plate since the service was very slow that night. We then ordered the grilled chicken, scallop, and shrimp on wild rice and mashed potato for about almost 20 bucks, I was not too impressed with it either. The best part was the wild rice but the rest were on the dry side. We chewed sand or pieces of shell with the scallop. The manager did come by to check on us, but we just did not even want to make a big deal after my embarrassment of sending the plate back that we did not bother to tell them about the scallops.
