I've come to this restaurant twice now and I've found that I always get seated promptly. I always get my order taken quickly and received in an equally quickly manner. My food is hot and it tastes good. The restaurant is clean and the tables are always cleaned as soon as the guests leave. The only negative comment I could say is I heard the kitchen staff arguing with the waitresses about the orders on my first visit. I heard nothing like that on my second visit. I see that the 1 star reviews are all very old. I believe that there must be new management and most definitely new staff. I will definitely visit here again during my stay in Columbus.

Cinnastack pancakes, not on the menu but they'll make them if you ask for it! You won't be disappointed!

My family and I have had breakfast here a few times through the years and every time we've stopped in have never had a bad experience. The food is great the service is great, they get you in and out with no problem, especially today and with the COVID crap going on. Our wait time for seating was only 10 minutes or so and after we ordered, our breakfast came out pretty quick. My favorite thing to get for breakfast is their Cinnastack pancakes, it's like eating a huge cinnamon roll, very tasty, maybe not healthy, but who cares...gotta splurge once in awhile! So not sure why some of the ratings on here for this restaurant, but as for me, just keep doing what you're doing iHop, no complaints here! P.S. The Cinnastack pancakes aren't on the menu so make sure to ask for them if that's what you are wanting, you won't be disappointed!

Colorado Omelette

March 2021 - The Colorado Omelette was very good. See pic below. This is a place we go to regularly but this time we had poor service. When the food arrived warm we needed condiments ahead of time. Our server was completely clueless. I had to go get silverware and napkins myself. We had pepper, no salt. Don't just throw down a bowl full of condiments, have a clue as to what you are delivering. We both needed sugar substitutes and shouldn't have had to search for them. Each cup of coffee will require 2 to 3 packets per person. iHOP is one of my favorite restaurants and I will continue to go there.

Giving them 3 stars because its clean & their servers are awesome. The location is convenient, behind Culver's & parking is always easy because it's usually empty. The location also has way too many seats for the little traffic they get! Utilization is usually pretty abysmal which makes me worry about how fresh the food is. Foodwise, its a standard IHOP, I won't waste your time! Venturing off the breakfast menu is usually risky. For a safe bet, the omelets are huge! As a former Dine Equity shareholder I try and support IHOP & Applebees franchises. Sadly their same store sales both gone south, the CEO got booted and the CFO just quit today! Eating in this IHOP sums it all up, stale menu, way overbuilt, customer base that probably likes the adjacent Culver's more for non-breakfast food & likes the nearby Waffle House just as much for breakfast food.

This is a bad place to eat. The last two times now it's been nothing but bad. We ate there after church today and I ordered pancakes with breakfast platter. Suppose to be two eggs. Look at the pic and this is what my plate looked like when it came to the table. Cut up and all over the plate. Here's no way that's two eggs. My pancakes 2. Was the size of one pancakes. They were so flat it wasn't funny.

We stopped in for breakfast last weekend. We were not disappointed. We had a great satisfying meal…read more We got the Rise and Shine with sausage and a biscuit as well as the Friend Bologna sandwich that I of course had to add Bacon and a little mustard to. The homemade chips were delicious as well, they were not all super crispy and I can't decide if that's a good thing or not. All food was great!!! The diner is nice and quiet and the food feels like home. Our server was fun and very welcoming. I didn't catch her name and I feel bad about that. We will be back to try other items for sure.

The decor is country with country music playing in the background. Holly, our server, was friendly, engaging and attentive. She checked on us regularly. Food came out super quickly. They offer daily lunch specials and have a standard breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered a vegetable omelette that was filled with onions, peppers and tomatoes and my choice of cheese. The omelette was large, light and perfectly cooked. The star of the breakfast for me was the marbled rye toast which was delicious. My husband had the Rise and Shine breakfast which was a hearty meal with two perfectly cooked eggs, a homemade biscuit, hash browns and a meat which he chose bacon. He would have preferred the bacon to be a little more crisp, but the breakfast was, overall, a winner. The assorted jellies were a hit. Price were really reasonable. They were half full during our early morning visit, but the noise level is high. The restaurant is an easy/fast two miles off the highway. There is also plenty of parking around the building. The restrooms are super clean and nice.

It started out awkward because the menu still said "spring" at the last of the dog days of July and several beverages on the menu were "we're out". Then the "Elderberry Fizz" drink had not one fizzy bubble! We asked and they said that despite the name, the drink is flat. Huh? The Taxman beer was nice and the carbonation was just right. On to the food ... happy to find that the grilled cheese which is on local sourdough bread and stuffed with a nice amount of spinach could be ordered without bell peppers. It came with choice of side and she chose "Indiana mustard potato salad". Since she is from Indiana thought it funny that which part was "Indiana". I ordered the fish tacos small plate. The chef came out in person to make sure that fresh ahi grade tuna was ok (!) because so many people assume that tacos would have fried fish. He also guaranteed that not a bell pepper would be in site. We were sitting outside on their extensive patio and the beautiful food came out. We could not believe our luck. The $10 tacos were gorgeous and delicious, a bit spicy. The grilled cheese was more than the ordinary. The potato salad was quite good and a little sweet. If we lived in Columbus we would want to know about this great deal - a nice different meal for a Friday night or something.

Would I recommend coming here for food? No. Would I recommend coming here for cheap drinks? Yes…read more My husband and I went here last night for dinner after going down to Columbus to watch our niece play her volleyball tournament. They were packed and had trivia going on, but they still had plenty of places to sit inside and on the small patio. We had wanted to sit outside since the weather was nice, so we grabbed a table in the corner on the patio (it is a seat yourself establishment). After a while, a server came over to get our drink orders and we each ordered a water. I asked for a Bud Light on draft, which was listed on their menu, but he told me they only have it bottles and just had Michelob Ultra on draft that was similar. No problem, we each ordered one of those. Some time passed and I saw our server come out onto the patio, look at us, and promptly spin around to go back inside. A couple minutes later he returned with our waters and an apology about the beers taking a long time because "the bartender was too busy talking." I got more of the impression that he forgot to put in our order at all, hence the quick turnaround to get waters when he realized he never came back to our table. We put in our food orders in the meantime- I ordered the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the roast beef sandwich with sweet potato fries. Drinks came out eventually and were huge/ice cold, which was nice. The food also came out within 10 minutes, which we had initially been happy about because we were so hungry and we still had an hour drive back to Indy. However, my Reuben sandwich had huge, thick chunks of meat vs thinly sliced beef and it was extremely hard to take bites of and took a long time to chew. I had to keep using my hands to rip pieces off the sandwich. There was also hardly any sauerkraut on it. My husband's roast beef sandwich had very little roast beef and absolutely no flavor, but was supposed to have a kick from the horseradish sauce. The sweet potato fries were good though, they just had a little too much salt on them. Overall, we had mixed reviews with our visit. Our beers were only $5.50 each, so that was a crazy good price. Not sure if it's just for trivia night or always like that. Several times throughout our visit we kept getting hit with the smell of cigarette smoke because the patio is off the main sidewalk and no one monitors that people are actually far enough away from the building. Super unpleasant. This is definitely a fun place to meet friends for drinks, but I'd pass on the sandwiches and see if other menu options are better.

We absolutely love this local watering hole. Good bar food, and great beer and cocktail selection…read more I particularly love the energy of the spot as it's always buzzing with a fun upbeat environment. There is no bad seat in the house, and the patio is fantastic. Service has always been very helpful and friendly. Even the first time we went we felt as if we have been coming for years. Can't wait to come back Awesome trivia and karaoke here as well!
