In that case, you need not walk more than a few feet to go to the IHOP right next to the mall. Yeah, it's just another store in a large chain, and this one is nothing special. But I happened to be with a friend who wanted breakfast for dinner, so I figured hey, why not? After making my order, I was promptly served a salad and the chicken tenders that I had ordered as an appetizer. The chicken fingers were on a plate with fries and a dipping sauce, and for the most part they were okay, though I was a little unhappy about how there were only four of them. At this time, I also sampled some of the pancakes that my friend had ordered. Mixed with the four different kinds of syrup that they had, they were actually pretty good. My entree was okay but nothing spectacular. Turkey with gravy over stuffing, and corn and mashed potatoes and bread. This combination has been done to death before, and IHOP does nothing to make its attempt any better. But the people serving us were nice enough, and the food they served us was largely enjoyable. Came in for breakfast. Staff going in circles, saying "we're just waiting for your table to be cleared and we will seat you". Stood there for at least 10 mins. Multiple customers leaving, complaining they never got their bill, never saw their waitress, or were trying to pay at entrance. We were patient and waited for our table. Waitress took us to our table that we could see from 10 ft away wasn't clean, when waitress put menus down and said "your server will be back shortly to take your order." We said table hadn't been cleaned, and waitress said "no, it's still wet from being cleaned". There was obvious drink circles, food particles and syrup smeared on table. Place needs management and organization to make dining worth coming in to, or back to. We ended up walking out and never sitting at disgusting table. Where do I begin... after being seated, we waited 30 minutes to have our order taken. Families that came in and got seated well after we did, got their food before us. After waiting for our food for an hour, I decided to ask the waitress for the check for the drinks she brought out to the table so we can leave, & she told us she was just on her way to grab our food only after we tried to leave. Myself and my partner both felt very unwell after our meal, we had the eggs & ham in common. Management, please take a step back and look at your restaurant with fresh eyes. As someone in the industry, I try not to be overly critical--I understand the challenges. That said, there are some serious issues here that need urgent attention, particularly with cleanliness and staff training. The dining area and restrooms both need a deep clean. There was food splatter on the walls, the bathroom was unstocked and dirty, and I counted at least 20 flies just in our section. My coffee cup even had old lipstick on the rim, which is unacceptable. On top of that, our food came out missing items, and the service overall lacked basic hospitality. Staff could really benefit from retraining--learning proper table touches, improving time management, and simply connecting more with guests. The only standout was the gentleman bussing tables. He was the only person who seemed genuinely engaged and aware. This place has potential, but it's going to take effort and attention to detail to get there. read more

She then attempted to bring it back to me, I said I don't want it after the other customer handled it, she said he did not and then yelled, " oh my god" like I was the problem she kept taking my order to another table. My kids and I decided to go to IHOP last night for dinner. I got the crispy seafood platter that consisted of 2 pieces of battered fish, 6 pieces of fried shrimp and fries. The fries were very salty and the battered fish was chewy. The fried shrimp was fine. My son got the jr chicken strips dinner and my daughter got the jr cheeseburger. They didn't really like their food either. The server was very attentive and polite. The food could have been a little bit better. Bad service. When we first entered the restaurant there was no one at the reception desk to greet us and when someone showed up and asked if we were dining in I told them yes. There was 6 of us of course we're dining in. The server then grabs 6 plastic take out utensils and sits us at two separate tables when there is plenty of room to sit us together and hands us the plastic utensils. I asked another server why weren't we given silverware and she told me she will look into it. Then my server comes and places the silverware on the side of the table without saying a word and leaves. I placed our order and 40 minutes pass and still no food. I ask when will our food be ready and the server went to check on it. When she finally came back she told me we will be the second ticket. Ambiance consisted of everyone who ordered looking around trying to figure out why no one is getting food in a decent time. Once we finally did get our food and ate, we went to the front to pay and were told the woman at the front was not allowed to check us out. I waited for another 10 minutes and then finally laid the money down on the counter and told the girl I was not waiting another minute. and walked out.
