I had a great experience. I was seated quickly, checked on several times and my server Chloe H was outstanding. I may have been at there restaurant 20 minutes. My food was great. We stopped tonight at Ihop in Bryant about 8:45pm. My wife made her order and I ordered a bowl of tomato soup and a grill cheese. Few mins later our server came back and said they don't sell grill cheese I told her we eat at IHOP often and always get a grill cheese she said yeah but the cook said she didn't feel like making a grill cheese. We came about 2 hours before close. The service was as quick as it could be (there was only 3 people and the cook left so the manager had to cook). Our server was very nice and was keeping us updated on the food and knew about the menu. It was fairly clean. The floors were very clean but the salt and pepper, ketchup station was dirty. I went with my dad today. The service was horrible. We walked in, told them the name and sat in the little waiting room and sat there for around 45 minutes to an hour. The workers were so rude. I went up to the desk at the front and asked " Do you know how long the wait will be?" She straight up said " I don't know just go sit down!" I looked at her in shock. There was around 11 people there and it took 2 hours for them to even notice us. Then this very nice lady took us to our seats. The lady who yelled at us took our order. It took around 1 hour or so for her to come take our order. I took 3 and a half hours to get our food. They didn't bring utensils or napkins. We asked for our drinks 5 times before they brought them out. It was horrible service. IHOP please fix these problems and some more. I don't have time to list them all. Although it is tough to find if you are not familiar with the area, it is really a great restaurant. I have ate at IHOPs for years with mixed results but this one is fantastic! Very clean and excellent service! The breakfast was one of the best I have had in Arkansas. I am surprised how great and attentive the staff were and how the busboys were right on top of it too! There was a huge spill and the guys were right on top of it. Really great teamwork. I could tell that the management team there was doing things right and that the employees were bought into the service side of the business. The restrooms were very clean and the manager working the register was overly friendly and went out of his way to hold the doors for us as we were toting the babies with us. Manager was very attentive. Actually checked on my wife and I more than the waitress. First time I've been in an IHOP and seen a manager serving tables. The food was not good. I got a Burger and Fries. It took a while to get it out. Got the Burger and the first bite I could tell that the meat was not seasoned at all. No flavor and was over cooked. Very dry, if it had been cooked any longer I'd of had to put some lotion on it. The lettuce had the texture of cooked spinach not sure how they looked at that and thought "Best lettuce I've ever seen!" We went in for breakfast this morning. We were seated a a dirty, sticky table. We sat there for over 5-10 mins waiting for our server. When she came over she seemed bothered by us asking for the table to be wiped down. She came back and handed us a rag and said we could wipe down the table ourselves. After taking our order she never came back to the table to check on us or bring us any silverware. I had asked her when she brought our food to bring me sugar free syrup for medical reasons. She brought our food out and still did not bring any silverware or syrup for her or sugar free syrup for me. We asked her again for these items. She said ok and walked off. We sat there for approximately 10 minutes while she got other customers coffee and took orders right next to our booth while our food was sitting there getting cold. When she came back with the silverware and syrup in small black unmarked containers. My girlfriend asked why she would go get coffee and other items while we were waiting on silverware to eat our food while it was hot. I tried to asked which syrup was sugar free but the server became irritated by being asked about the silverware. She rolled her eyes and walked off. The eggs were now too cold to eat. I was unable to eat my pancakes since she would not say which syrup was sugar free. The sauce on my omelet was congealed. I went up front to talk with a manger. I asked the two servers at the front counter and they acted as if I wasn't talking to them at all as if I wasn't even there. I again stated I needed to see a manager. One of them looked at me and said we don't have a manger her, she left. Save your money and stay clear of this place. I will be in contact with Corp office. We had a VERY pleasant stop here! Restaurant is large, comfortable & clean! We were impressed with this for a restaurant that's open around the clock - it really stood out! All the staff we interacted with were exceptionally kind - ask for Ashlea (pronounced Ashley) - she was courteous & efficient! I had the Stuffed French Toast with peaches and also tried one Pumpkin Pancake (for the fall season - October 4, 2019). While they were both very good I actually think I liked the Pumpkin Pancake best!! Check it out!! My husband had the Breakfast Sample and said everything on it was great as well! My friend and I went to this IHOP on a Saturday morning. It was the first time each of us went here. When we almost drove in the parking lot, it was full. We had a slight wait. However, the food was good. If you go to eat here, it does not stay open 24 hours per day. Since I had my phone, I looked at 2 maps of the area. The following is a good and bad thing from your perspective. In a 1 mile radius, several hotels exist. 2 are next to IHOP. For the last several weeks my family has gone to ihop Bryant AR every Sunday morning for breakfast. Before leaving the house I use the Yelp app to put our names on the wait list so by the time we arrive the wait is minimal. After putting our name on the wait list using this app I get a text confirmation. This morning upon arrival I informed the hostis I had put us on the wait list using the Yelp app. As she was checking for our name another girl in a rude tone stated that they don't use that app and they don't take reservations. I attempted to inform her we have been using this app to put our names on the wait list for weeks and she became very rude, cut me off and told me it would be a 15 minute wait and we need to stand outside. Needless to say Denny's got our business. My question is if ihop dose not use the Yelp app to join the wait list, why does it always show we are added. We had a horrible experience here a few months ago, but decided to give it another try! I ordered the breakfast nachos and my fiancé ordered the crepe combo. My mom was also with us. He had an appointment at 10:30 right next door so, when we ordered our food at 9:58, we figured we would be ok. The food took forever. Our waiter kept saying that it was because of the nachos, which I find hard to believe. We ended up asking them to cancel his because he had to get to his appointment! I dined in ihop in Bryant, AR today on June 4, 2020 to celebrate my 38th birthday and I had Mykala B server number 300047 as my waitress. I told her it was my birthday and asked if they could sing to me. She told me no because there were not enough servers there. Now there were five servers at the restaurant so it didn't make sense for them not to be able to accommodate me. Than it was said most of the servers didn't know the song. When the hostess Sydney was informed about this she questioned Mykala about it who gave her a secret sign than she said well come back tomorrow we will have more servers to do it. now I've been at restaurants when as little as 2 servers sing for a customer. I had a situation last year at a restaurant for my birthday when the servers were new and didn't know the restaurant song so they gave me a traditional happy birthday song. Unfortunately Mykala didn't offer me to have the five servers sing a traditional happy birthday song. Furthermore after I paid for my meal she ripped off the survey part of my receipt which I thought was strange. read more
