This is THE cleanest IHop we have ever visited!!! The staff were very friendly and proficient, and the food was hot and tasty. We have visited hundreds of IHop restaurants throughout the years, and we found this one to be the cleanest and nicest one yet! Not only was the dining room clean and well kept, but the restrooms were even sparkling clean!!! Nearly walked out after sitting and waiting for a server to take our drink order but then she was really sweet so we placed our orders. One of us asked for fruit instead of hash browns with scrambled eggs. I ordered French toast and bacon. First it took forever and when we finally got our food we got hash browns no fruit and by taste of them we didn't get real eggs either. Then let's top it off with cold French Toast. My first review was written two years ago. I'd gone back recently, once in December of 2019 and again in January 2020 and the food was very tasty both times. The restaurant was hot and the waiter claimed that the air conditioning was broken. In over 2 years, they've claimed broken air conditioning every time we go there. The waiter forgot my husband's entree until we asked about it. By the time it arrived he got it "to go" because everyone else was done with their meal. Understaffed for a Saturday night; waiter was all alone and had difficulty managing 5 tables and seating customers. Food was good but service left a lot to be desired! This was the worst ihop we have ever been to. Our waitress Wanda took 20 mins to take our drink/food order and then we didn't even get our drinks until our food came. The place was practically empty and it took an hour to get our food. And when our food came it wasn't good. The pancakes were about half the size of all the other ihop pancakes. We also tried the new donut French toast and the cream on the inside was cold. We didn't send it back since we were starving and didn't want to wait another half hour. It also took 20 mins to get our check and when we did get them she forgot to split it like we had asked. Overall it was a terrible experience. Was just refused service at iHop in Banning because my service dog (as I'm in a wheelchair) was coughing(which is from a bone he had the night before). Male Hispanic host was rude as soon as we got through the doors. They have patio seating, which he didn't even offer, so we took our business to Ruby's Diner, who was very accommodating and with pleasant staff.
