I've been to boxing classes before, but I really liked the way that they laid out the class format here. It's a variety of boxing and strength workouts intermixed so you get a well rounded workout. Each day also has a different focus like legs, core, etc. so the workouts that go alongside the boxing have a collective theme. I got a very nice calorie burn. I recommend this to somebody who wants to change up their fitness routine. They have class pack options if you don't want a huge commitment. Or you can join one of their different memberships. I basically flee the building as soon as I can. - Cramped. I wish there was more than 2-3 ft of space per person. People adjust sideway or move around to make it work, but it's weirdly cramped. The instructors are fine. Not much correction or assistance, IME. There's not any gym-chat (maybe partly because it's so loud it'd be very difficult to talk to others). Everyone I've been in classes with seem unwilling to interact. So, not a social/CrossFit-like option. If I could find a good weightlifting class anywhere else, I probably would give up going because of my sensory sensitivities, but for now, it's an okay option.

There is a lot of camaraderie and laughter. The trainers watch out for you and always have modifications ready if there is a certain move you can't do. I always walk out sweaty and tired in the best way. This has been my first experience with weightlifting. I joined up after doing a month of physical therapy for chronic pain. I was very worried about feeling pressure to go too heavy or too fast, but instead I've gotten a lot of encouragement to go at my own pace and to focus on correct form. LeeAnn is especially caring and really looks out for her clients. She listens to you and puts a lot of thought and personalization into the individual sessions based on your needs and abilities. It's a comparable facility but lacks quantity when it comes to equipment. They only have a few smith machines unlike our fitness facility, and the patrons hogged these few for nearly an hour doing multiple type of exercises, some not even related to the smith machine. They have one row of free weights with a few benches unlike our facility that has two rows and more benches. During other visits to this facility, I noticed that people will socialize and browse their phones while sitting on the equipment. My time is limited and I don't want to wake-up any earlier than I already do so that other people can socialize. I told my wife it's worth the extra 5-10 mins to drive to the other facility in order to use the equipment when we need it. A good facility but many patrons aren't there to get a workout in, and the equipment is lacking in quantity to be shared.
