I could not be happier with the results of my fitness journey with Je. I feel and look the FINEST I…read morehave ever been, dropping over 30lbs ,6% in body fat, and going from a size ten to a size six. I have never had more confidence and I am testing the levels of my sexy by wearing clothes I wouldn't normally wear and showing more skin than I normally would. NO more one piece swimsuits for me.. You gonna get all this body... okayyyy?! Whats more telling is, I am excited to work with Je on another journey to build my muscle and curves and build the body of dreams, which I thought was unattainable until I began working with her and seeing my results from then to now. This has truly been a total lifestyle change where I feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally. Granted life happens sometimes, but at least I have had Battle Fitness in my corner to help keep me on track with prioritizing myself and workouts to know that I am stronger, physically and mentally and results I have attained are incredible. I was searching for a black owned trainer in my local area when I found Je. She was close by and had great reviews so I decided to book a consultation and I'm so happy I did. I've had a trainer in the past however, the difference is that Je incorporated a total lifestyle change that encompassed so much more than just workouts. I workout in small groups but each session is personalized to the individual and their goals. I am in the military and one of my main goals was to improve on my physical fitness assessments. I am so happy I surpassed my goal in rising from a "Good High" score to an "Excellent score where I am now exempt for taking my physical fitness assessments for the year. I have even been approached as taking on a role as the command fitness leader due to my score off excellent. Jé also takes it a step further with private  1:1 consulting where we discuss my body transformation progress, what may or may not be working and how to make adjustments for better results. Je has always listened to whatever I'm going through and did not let me fall short of my goals no matter how much resistance I gave thinking -"this was too hard," or learning to balance my personal life to not get in the way of my goals. She made me feel like I could do this journey and truly supported me along the way. I appreciate you JE :

Every email from Je is signed "Devoted to your success..." and she truly is…read more I reached out to Je when I thought I might be at the end of the road with my lifelong struggle to lose weight, eat properly, and stay active. After spending years pouring money into classes, gyms, fitness programs, typical "trainers", fad diets, and meal plans; I was drawn to Je's approach that entailed a complete commitment to lifestyle choices. This was especially important as I had given birth just a few months prior to finding her and I knew I couldn't go back to those inconsistent systems. I needed a change! I met with Je at a Body Diagnostic and told her my history and my goals. It was like she was reading my mind... she understood the struggle, the pitfalls, and the misled roads so many of us end up on. She explained that the program is designed as a whole body experience, not just workouts and calorie counting. After discussing logistics and schedule, I made the commitment and am so glad for it. The semiprivate sessions are in groups of 2-4 but your workout is personalized with specific targets, weight levels, form correction, and muscle groups so it's still personal training. It makes for a great balance of tailored attention with peer motivation. Individual "meal plans" are discussed in private but it's much more than just a few macros numbers. We talk about recipes, cost-effectiveness, perishables, grocery stores, snacking, satisfying cravings, planning supervised detoxes. Since starting with Je, I've had my own personal ups and downs in shedding those bad habits, understanding how to scrutinize everything going in (or on) my body, and committing to a complete overhaul in lifestyle despite sometimes being overwhelmed with a 1-year old and owning a business... but Je has been with me every step of the way and never made me feel like I was failing or giving up. I began at 41% body fat and so far I got down almost 5% body fat! That might not sound like much but Je's Progress Reports highlight noticeable changes in my shape, size, and even posture with meticulous side-by-side photos and the difference is remarkable! I am so glad that I found Je, not only as my new health guru but as a motivator, confidant, fellow business-owner, and (ass-kicking) friend.

Here's the deal and this is for anybody who has read or follow my reviews and I don't know if it's…read morethe New Yorker in me but I called down the middle the way I see it and this is the way I see One Life fitness Skyline: Any gym and I don't care who you go to and where you go to or even if The Rock himself is training you, it comes down to if you will walk through that door everyday and what you do inside of it. Most people complain about Jim's because of two things: they want all the amenities like you're going to the Bellagio in Las Vegas and they wait on you hand and foot or you have a lot of sensitive people who just because they don't get what they want when they want an exactly how they want it, they complain. All the staff that work there are really cool, they open up really good hours which is 5:00 a.m. and if you can't get your butt into the gym at 5:00 a.m. whose fault is that? I wish they would close a little bit later maybe 11:00 or midnight but that's neither here nor there. It's a huge facility and they have great amenities. Basic but good enough. So in summation I've been in this gym for over a year and I like it a lot and I have no problems with it. So what the heck are you waiting for after reading this? GET UP AND GET IT DONE!

While trying to find the exit, I made an honest mistake and walked across a small green section. Instead of handling it calmly or professionally, multiple staff members were rude and condescending, and one staff member even made a threat about following me out. That felt intimidating, inappropriate, and made the environment feel unsafe and very uncomfortable. The overall staff interaction and vibes came across as unprofessional and very ghetto. I was looking at their personal training here, but after how I was treated, I would never choose to give this place my business. I'll just stick with my current trainer. On top of that, many of the machines appear very old, run-down, and unstable. A lot of the equipment looks outdated, which raises concerns about maintenance and overall care of the facility. Overall, this was a really disappointing and off-putting experience, especially for a first-time member.

I was visiting a relative in town and was just looking for a place to run and work out in that wasn't outdoors in 90+-degree weather. (We Southern Californians are weather wimps.) It was so nice and cool - which is not true of all DC-area gyms. It was also clean and felt very safe for my first indoors post-pandemic workout. Best of all, the people that worked there were super helpful while being low-key. And it wasn't crowded both times I went, with the customers also seeming to be pretty low-key while being focused on their workout. (No grunting loudly every single rep and slamming weights down at the end of the set, which, any pro will tell you, honestly means you need to take the weights down a bit until you can control them.) I just wish I could transport Energy Club to Southern California. But if you live in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out.

The coaches are so positive and motivating, as well as thorough in their pre workout demonstrations and make those small corrections in our movements that make all the difference in our results and the burnnn! They coaches have a built a solid community within the gym which can't be understated. The HIIT circuits are setup so nicely, flowing through about 10 different stations and leaving the whole body worked by the end of the class. These classes are pretty solid for building muscle but you're not going to get huge or insanely strong with this style of workout. This will be more for toning muscle/athletic build as well as gaining functionality and work capacity. It's nice that it's all based on time rather than numbers so everybody can go at their own pace. However, if you really want to push yourself as hard as possible, then I'd say this targets the heart and lungs more than anything, and health is what it's really all about. This is even true in the resistance classes, which you always leave with a serious pump. The weights you're using aren't as heavy as CrossFit which mostly allows for you to push yourself in a safer and higher paced manner and there's more variance in exercises and movements than Orange Theory without the concern of running injuries so while all of the big name HIIT enterprises have some advantages, I believe F45 is the best because it has the most well-rounded diverse stimulus mentally and physically and therefore has the most potentially for truly being "in-shape", healthy, functional, and athletic because you're more motivated to consistently train hard and allowed to do so while staying injury free. If I have to knock it I'd say that some of the exercises are more body building oriented (fly's and curls) than I'd like, but most are performance based. I will also admit, if this were my only training then I'd definitely like to have heavier weights on resistance days because those end up mostly being muscle endurance for me (which is more important than raw strength if I'm forced to choose). I'd also appreciate a little more sprinting but I know that greatly increases the injury risk so I understand the omission there. Also if there was more space, I would love to incorporate something more explosive like med ball throws. All in all though, considering the energy in there, the results you'll get from start to finish only sacrificing 45 minutes to make the rest of your day better, this place is great!
