It's funny how they changed the name from Iziks to Iziks and Steve's... I guess to hide some of the bad reviews huh? Haha! Went in for a haircut twice; first time was a nice guy meanwhile the rest of the staff was staring me out because I apparently didn't blend in to their liking. Second time I went the guy said "WERE EATING!" And the rest of them again kept staring me out. Came back 20 minutes later and the main guy flat out cut my hair and had a nasty attitude after I asked for a high skin fade. Kept speaking in his language saying "high skin fade" in between sentences while cutting my hair; this prompted his staff to laugh at me the entire time. 'I would recommend this place if you're looking for a faddish haircut and ready to dive into some club in the city as a 20 something. Apparently that's the clientele this place loves considering the techno music on full blast. The picture of all five of you posing is a bit like the clientele you admire: in vain! Went there around 3pm on Saturday and was still packed, but they had 6 barbers so didn't feel like you waited more than 15 mins. Jay took care of me. Asked me what i wanted to do; gave me his suggestions and gave me a fresh cut and shave. Very professional and good service. Some feel good music played in background. They have several seats and barbers to choose from if you like. I have been using Rafael for some time and prefer his haircutting style and personality. He is quick and has skills, not rushed and sloppy. I also recommend a shave as they do an excellent job here as well. They have a vast collection of hair product here for purchase to choose from if you need hair care products. I use gel and enjoy the selection at JNL barbershop.
