Went here for the first time today for both my 1.5 year old son and then for myself. Arthur cut both of our hair and was incredible. He was patient and able to deal with the ups and downs the little guy threw his way. Both of our haircuts were better than we could have expected and Arthur had his own unique way of adjusting our styling that was perfect. Recently moved to the area and was looking for an affordable shop to take my son for haircuts. We walked in on a Sunday and got a chair after about ten minutes. As my son was sitting down I showed Alex three pictures (front, back, profile) of how I would like my son's haircut to turn out. My son is half Asian, so perhaps Alex was unfamiliar how to cut hair of his texture. If you don't leave the cowlick the same length as the longer hair on top of his head, it will grow out sticking straight up and look awkward until it really grows out. I pointed this out before the cut and thought he understood. Nope. First thing he does is go all 1 1/2 on the back, sides, and cowlick. No length on the back as I asked for, no fade. Just all the same length. Not only that, but because my son has thick hair, he is really pushing the razor against his head to cut it, resulting in a very uneven trim. It was more like shearing a sheep. At this point my son is feeling uncomfortable, upset at the way he looks, and not appreciating Alex speaking to him like a little kid and not a middle-school aged kid, trying to convince him that he looks good. Then he puts product in his hair without asking. Needless to say, I don't feel like taking a chance on a different barber at Page and will be looking for a new shop for my son and myself, even if it costs a bit more. read more

The worst Barber Shop I have ever been to in my 58 years. I walked in on 9/28/23 around noon, 5 barbers standing around doing nothing. I was told to sit down in Alexs chair . He put the apron on me and never said a word and then walked away. He started showing his coworkers pictures from his cell phone, started to walk back towards me, he past me and then went to the back room and started to vape. I was trying to be as patient as possible , he walked past me again took a call on his cell phone walked outside and I never saw him again. I TAKE MY HAIR CUTS VERY SERIOUSLY I got off the chair took off the apron and started to walk out the door. at that time the owner/manager asked me what was up and I just said this place is a joke and left the shop. Arthur is the man at giving haircuts. Very friendly and professional atmosphere. I always go with my young son and it serves as bonding time for us to chat amongst boys. He's always happy with his cuts and so am I. The prices have come up in recent years, but I feel the cuts are well worth the money. it's always nice to have a neighborhood barbershop you like. I came here with my dad, who found this place through Yelp, so I figured I need to review. We each wanted shaves before going to a wedding. He wanted a clean shave, I wanted a shape-up with a shave of the neck and cheeks, as you do. I sat in the last chair, under the name "Benny," but I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't him, and it was someone's nephew or something. As my dad had a luxurious shave, complete with the hot towel, the reclined chair, the neck massage: the works, I had someone scraping at my face and neck with a straight razor WITHOUT shaving cream for a majority of the shave. He rushed through the beard trim, and then spent a good fifteen minutes giving me razor burn. I gave up on trying to get a good shave after asking twice for him to even out the neck, only to have him trim MORE from the side that was already too short. The first thing I did when I got home was cover my neck in styptic to cover the over 30 spots where I was bleeding, and then risk further razor burn by shaving AGAIN to fix the mess he had made of my face. Once the bleeding stopped, and I evened it out, it looked okay, but this experience may very well have turned me off from ever trying to have anyone besides me trim my beard. Got my hair cut by a man named Benny. He was an older man so I don't mean to be harsh but he didn't understand what I asked for at all. I came in with long curly hair, strands reaching my lip when pulled straight on the front. I told him I wanted a slight maintenance trim of 0.5 inches and that I like having long hair and my goal is long hair (I was very emphatic). I even told him to make sure to leave the sides to fall messy over the ears. He nodded in approval and assured me he understood. He started cutting, and just didn't stop. I even told him "that's enough" a few times and he just mumbled "okay okay" and kept cutting. In total he cut off 4 inches of my hair. Overall I feel angry at myself for trusting someone with my hair again and I didn't want to yell at an old man. That's 5 months of growth and being uncomfortable in my body. Overall inconsistent, but the younger guys are pretty good and nice. He also treated my hair like straight hair and didn't seem to understand the needs of curly / moderately wavy hair. read more

I've been coming to this barber shop for roughly 10 years now, besides my four year stint in college where i struggled to find a shop that could nearly uphold the quality of cuts i'd become accustomed too. The professionalism and dedication to the craft is apparent in every single barber. I've had a cut from just about every single one of them and never had a bad experience. However, if you are looking for a sick fade, you cannot go wrong with Vadim. He takes pride in what he does and can pretty much mimic any picture of a cut you show him. The owner arthur will always greet you at the door with a refreshing hello and is determined to ensure you get exactly what your coming in there for. You get a very decent haircut here and people are great. My only complaint is that they are a bit lax with cleanliness, especially the towels and the bibs. I am sure they have been laundered, but have seen too many uses and need to be retired. Old towels can be useful in your own bathroom, but elsewhere it;s a big turn-off. read more
