They determined I was actually having brake issues. They could have seriously padded their till that day, but provided a service that was the least expensive of the things the issue could have been. I wouldn't have known any better if they told me it was one thing and repaired something different. They kept me informed the entire time of their progress and their completion time, then followed up to ensure all was well. They told me I would need more work done to the brakes, but it could hold off. Now is the time for that work. If I were still close to their store, it would not be a question where I'd be going. I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for an oil leak, headlight and brake light replacement. My appointment was for Monday August 31. On Wednesday September 2 I had still heard nothing about my vehicle I called and was told, can you believe they were just about to bring in in the shop bay to inspect it had now been two day of getting the Sunshine Treatment. I get a text message with a link to inspection report. I text back asking for a quote which I received and I gave an OK to estimate and asked for completion date which I was told was Wednesday September 9. When I questioned I was told I did not understand how complex the repair. I told them to proceed. On Friday September 4 I stopped by unannounced and found my vehicle still sitting in the same spot as when dropped off and untouched. I was very upset and was told I had never approved the repairs. When I showed them the text message it again was not their fault it was miscommunication. I should have known at this point five days later and still nothing done that this was not a professional repair shop and they were as their name said Sandalwood Car Careless. I was told my vehicle would be ready on Wednesday September 9. Want to take a guess if ready, well the answer is NO and it had not been touched. Then on Thursday September I get a call from the owner tell me my vehicle still not ready and they cannot complete all the repairs as they do not have the knowledge nor capabilities to do that type of repair. This is where it was somewhat my fault as all the pervious issue were telling me they do not have the knowledge and skills to do the repairs. This though they should have admitted to start. Well then on Friday September 11 I called Sandalwood Car Careless to see if vehicle finished at 10:00am and was told NO, when I got upset as now we going on two weeks I was told I not respect them. Well I was always told you had to earn respect to get respect and at this time I had caught them in over four lies. I finally was able to pick up my vehicle on Friday September 11 at 4:00pm. Now the cherry on top, they gave me the wrong bill for person and vehicle that was not me. They did not even know my name or vehicle. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever seem. Do not worry about getting everything in writing as they just say it is miscommunication between them and you. Nothing is ever their fault it will be yours. On a positive I was not charged for the eight days of Sunshine Treatment nor 8 days of lot storage. I really though question the quality of work and service done to my vehicle due to the lack of professional service, lack of any customer service and the capability to preform all the work requested. This is definitely a place to adhere to the "Buyer Beware" The only think good I can say about Sandalwood Car Careless is GOOD BYE.

Did not have any oil leaks issues before we dropped it off. Had transmission service but not the oil leaks Moved the car first thing in the morning and there's a big puddle of oil. How in the hell do you get an oil leak like that by just dropping it off to them. I just drove it from Fort Myers which is 5 Hrs drive with no leaks the before no oil leaking at all. Not sure what could happen in less while it was there. I would not recommend them.

Crooks! BEWARE! They will swindle you! Wouldn't honor…read morewarranty on transmission they rebuilt, then messed with and broke another part in our car and wanted us to pay to fix it. They rebuilt a transmission and installed it in our car last year, and gave us a one year warranty on it. About a month ago it started having transmission issues and we took it to a different shop, just to get checked. The first shop (which is highly trusted in Jax) checked the transmission fluids, and said the fluids were good and to take it back to the people who rebuilt it since it's under warranty. So we did.. the next day...and it sat in their lot, for over two weeks, before they even looked at it. After looking at it, they claimed the transmission Fluid line had a leak, which is what caused the transmission issues. Sus since the fluids were fine when we dropped it off. They wanted to charge us the price of a newly rebuilt transmission. Even though it's under warranty. Claiming they won't cover it because the leak is our fault. crooked. Then, after having our car for over 4 weeks and wrongfully having to paying them... our car died again, two weeks after getting it back from them. Took it back and they said it was the rear driveshaft. Surprise surprise they say it's our fault and want more money to fix it. EVEN THOUGH THEY ADMITTED TO THE FACT THAT THEY PULLED THE DRIVESHAFT OUT ENABLE TO FIX THE TRANSMISSION. But they said it couldn't possibly be their fault. Shocking.... Do not take your car to be repaired by them!! Do not do business with them!
