**Yelp Review for JEP:**…read more I recently had the pleasure of working with JEP on a unique upgrade for my Mercedes Sprinter van. From the outset, I encountered challenges with parts availability, but Josh and his team provided a transparent and accurate estimate throughout the project. While the timeline extended due to parts delays, I truly appreciated Josh's commitment to quality over speed. His dedication to ensuring the final product met his high standards--and mine--was evident. The end result exceeded my expectations; the craftsmanship is professional, high-quality, and visually stunning. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I wholeheartedly recommend JEP and would rate them higher if I could!

I would give this shop 0 stars if I could…read more I brought my car in because it had an intermittent stalling issue. The shop charged me for repairs and assured me the problem was fixed. Less than 2 miles after leaving their shop, the car broke down again with the exact same issue. In fact, I couldn't even make it two blocks away before I was stranded on the side of the road. When I took the car back, instead of standing behind their work, they charged me for another diagnostic fee. They then told me I needed to replace virtually every fuel system component and claimed that would solve the problem. After spending even more money, the vehicle still had the same issue. They also told me I needed new spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Later I discovered that some of the parts appeared to be used rather than new, despite being charged for replacement parts. To make matters worse, I found evidence that some of the work they billed me for was never actually completed. They originally told me installing a new gas tank would take about 4 hours. When the bill came, they claimed it took 12 hours. I was also charged a fee for removing a gas tank, even though the vehicle did not have the tank configuration they described. I specifically had them remove the side-mounted fuel sender because I did not like the noise it made. They convinced me to install a new tank with an in-tank sender and promised the noise would go away. After spending approximately $1,800, the exact same noise is still there. Another major issue was dealing with Josh. Trying to get answers from him required a tremendous amount of patience. His customer service skills were poor, and I constantly felt like my concerns were being dismissed instead of addressed. This shop also kept my car for weeks at a time with very little progress. What makes that even more frustrating is that after all that time, I picked up the car and couldn't even make it two blocks down the road before it stranded me again with the exact same problem I brought it in for. What professional repair shop returns a vehicle to a customer without properly road-testing it and verifying that the original complaint has actually been fixed? If they had done even a basic test drive, they would have immediately discovered the issue was still there. After spending thousands of dollars, being charged multiple diagnostic fees, waiting weeks for repairs, and still ending up with a car that wasn't fixed, I have completely lost confidence in this shop. Poor diagnostics, questionable billing practices, poor communication, and no accountability for their work.also i cant even pull into my driveway without gas pouring out of the gas tank talked to Josh about this all he can say is get a new gas cap I feel the gas tank should of came with a new gas cap for what I paid. I dont know if they hit a pot hole or something but now I have a cracked rim that cost me a extra because a careless shop. I will never do business with this shop again and would strongly recommend that others think twice before trusting them with their vehicles.

Exceptionalism by 4 West Motorsports…read more When I first reached out to Fox Motorsports for guidance on improving our 2019 Jeep Rubicon, they referred me to a few top-tier shops in SoCal. After some due diligence and detailed analysis, I ultimately chose 4 West Motorsports--and that recommendation turned out to be pure platinum. From the start, Justin demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge and a rare ability to translate that into a truly custom solution. Our Jeep is primarily a daily driver for our daughter, with occasional off-road use--but it's not a rock crawler. It sees lots of highway time, including through winding mountain passes with high winds and road camber that previously made the ride feel unsettled. Rather than jumping to conclusions or offering a cookie-cutter package, Justin took the time to thoroughly understand our current setup, our daughter's driving habits, and our long-term vision for the build. He asked about everything--from current tire and wheel specs to previous upgrades and future aspirations. He understood that this wasn't just about bolting on new parts--it was about crafting a solution that respected our existing geometry and elevated it. What sets 4 West apart is their technical precision in matching component types that complement both the vehicle's natural behavior and intended use--whether you're building a desert runner, rock crawler, Overlander, or hybrid rig. They factor in how every mod affects your steering, suspension articulation, handling, and ride comfort. For our build, Justin recommended a thoughtfully selected combination that included Fox shocks, a Fox sway bar, a RockJock track bar, and a Hellwig rear sway bar, all paired with a professional alignment that corrected significant deviations. After the install, one of their team members personally test drove the Jeep--on the freeway and through twisty roads--to ensure it performed exactly as intended. The result? The Jeep now feels planted, composed, and predictable--a dramatic improvement that gives us peace of mind knowing our daughter is driving a rig that's safe, responsive, and trail-ready. This isn't just a shop--it's a think tank for off-road performance. Their ability to engineer a solution that balances daily drivability with future trail capability is unmatched. They don't just install parts--they understand how every element fits into the broader ecosystem of your build and make recommendations that are both forward-thinking and technically sound. If you're serious about building your rig right the first time--or want to course-correct and elevate your setup--4 West Motorsports is where you go. I can't recommend them enough.
