Boyne Mountain always has something fun going on throughout the year, making this a great place to stop after a full day on the slopes or a round of golf. It has that cozy, laid-back mountain atmosphere that makes you want to settle in, relax, and enjoy a good meal. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart! We had two little ones with us, and she was incredibly helpful and accommodating with both of them. One of the kitchen burners was down during our visit, which meant our food took a little longer than expected, but she kept us updated the entire time. We really appreciated her communication and how attentive she was despite the circumstances! For starters, we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for the table, and it was delicious! It came with fresh bread that was perfect for scooping up all that creamy, cheesy goodness. The chicken tenders were another win -- perfectly crispy on the outside while staying nice and tender on the inside, without being dried out. But the star of the show had to be the Reuben. Holy smokes, this sandwich was GOOD! Everything came together beautifully, but that dressing really took it over the top. And, of course, we couldn't go wrong with a side of onion rings to round out the meal. Prices are definitely a little on the higher end, but when the food is this good and the service is this welcoming, it makes the experience worthwhile. Burgers and sandwiches were in the mid 20s. Entrees were in the 40s. BUT, all the food impressed me very much. They were very very high quality and exceptional. If you take away the resort upcharge on pricing, the food exceeds the price point. The sandwiches were stuffed with fillings and definitely not skimped. The salmon was a huge center cut, I'm thinking 10-12oz. Beautifully cooked. Crispy outside, succulent and flaky inside. The star is the spread? The shrimp scampi linguine. $40. 6 or so colossal shrimp. U12 at least. Sauce was on point and paired perfectly. I enjoyed this meal. It was put together with care. Not a, let's get as much orders as we can out type of care. I left it short 1 star because the wings were small.
