When we arrived, the young lady barista and pastry chef extraordinaire was in the back baking pastries. She served up the best Caffe Macchiato including the signature swirls. What an artist. Some locals showed up and we had the best conversation about Albion. Our ancestors all grew up in nearby Ellery in the 1800's so it was exciting to have coffee in the downtown area they likely traveled to albeit with horse and wagon. The coffee shop is housed in a beautifully restored home across from the town square. If your nearby, it's worth the drive.

We came in at 1pm on a Wednesday to only one employee working, which worried us initially since we had a party of 6 but she got to us quickly and had our food ready in under 15 minutes.
