Danny is honest, professional, fair, and genuinely a good person. He and his team finished the wall in no time and it looked amazing. For the past 7 years, if I need something done.. I call Danny. He has completed drywall, refinished my wood floors, repaired my ceiling, fixed sinks, doors, installed a fence, and just completed my back patio. What I appreciate about Danny and his team is the fact he takes the time to talk things out, brainstorm, and find the most reasonably priced route. And EVERYTHING that man and his team has completed for me in 7 years is still standing. I have not had one issue with the jobs he has completed. Honestly, he has fixed jobs that I had done when I first moved into my house. I am kicking myself that I did not call him first! If Danny says he will start on Saturday, he will start on Saturday. He communicates with me during the entire project. OH! AND HE CLEANS UP AFTERWARD!!! UNHEARD OF! So if you want a job completed where you do not have to go back to get it fixed again - and you want punctual, professional, courteous, respectful, transparent, fairly priced, QUALITY work done? James is a pleasure to work with (so easy going and professional) and he is always around working and managing during the project. For the work A Better Craft did for my project - see below. WORK COMPLETED: Painted my unfinished basement from top to bottom (including painting and tacking up messy wires and finding a way to conceal them), smoothed over an uneven concrete basement floor, patched up parts of the ceiling where you could see the rafters, installed recessed lights and moved electrical outlets, built a closet with doors that his team constructed from a picture I showed them, patched up and painted my cracking concrete steps in the front and back of my house, installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom, hung heavy gym wall mirrors on the concrete walls in my basement, eliminated my rodent issue by adding wood siding under my steps and deck and had my iron gate repaired in front of my home. James is a talented painter and he knows his team well in addition to knowing all the local hardware, paint, and electrical stores which helps with product and pricing. Dan came by, and quoted me to add a hose to the front yard, add a washer/dryer water hookup, and to add a gas water heater for our 2 unit house. We also got one other quote, and Dan's prices were very fair. We were able to schedule within the week for him to come by. He was able to do the hose and washer dryer within just a few hours - he was very efficient. He came by the following week to do the gas water heater install. We were really happy with this work, efficiency, and fair pricing. Everything he did is working well and I don't doubt he'll be there to help if anything were to go wrong. Will definitely be using Dan and his team for all our plumbing needs in the future.

From the beginning of the project, D made every effort to help conceptualize my exact vision and came up with a great design plan to move forward with. The advice that she gave regarding my oversize medicine cabinet really helped to pull my bathroom together and I wouldn't have considered it had not been for her. I have had less than amazing experiences with contractors in the past, specifically where certain questions or follow-ups were treated like a nuisance. Jay and his crew understood that my home is my sanctuary and also my investment. Any concerns or questions that came along as we worked through my renovation were always welcome and treated with respect. Answers were thorough and the approach to every detail of the project was handled with amazingly specific care - including keeping the work space and the common areas outside of the space very clean at the end of each work day. Jay and I collaborated very well while trying to narrow down tile choices for my bathroom and the effort he made to ensure we got exactly what I wanted (tile pattern, finish, and size) was beyond commendable. We agreed on the other design elements in the room, after coupling my needs with his expert advice. I even decided to switch one of my shower choices after considering his advice. Once we were clear on what needed to go where, the team went to work and the work was amazing! I also used the services of D&J for a project in my mom's kitchen two years ago and the work done there was show-stopping as well. Every time someone walked in to the space, the kitchen is the area that received most of the compliments. This will always be my design firm and contractor of choice for any projects going forward. They have found a loyal customer in me.
