Got the experience for my sister and niece. They had a blast. The only draw back is the pricing. It's a bit expensive and only get 60 seconds of flight time Got the $89 package for 2 - 60 second flights and then added a high flight. Spent close to $350. Long wait time. Instructor got frustrated with someone in our group because he hard a hard time with the positions to excel at indoor skydiving, then that person in our group didn't want to go a second time because of that instructor. Not sure we'd do it again because kind of pricey. read more

This was an awesome experience! I went with my 4 yr old son and 12 yr old niece and had the best time! After the first flight my son was worried about going high like the other flyers and he didn't want to go- keep in mind you can't hear ( ear plugs, helmet and wind tunnel) and the instructor was still able to see that and told him he would keep him low and my son went right in with him and had the most amazing time ! Man this was so fun! I couldn't stop raving about it after we finished. It was so awesome of an experience I bought a package to return multiple times to get better and better. I never was interested in doing sky diving, but after doing pretty well with this simulator, and planning multiple trips back, I may consider doing it one day now! I loved every second and Tony our instructor was phenom! Loved him. The only negative I can think to include is it was kind of hard to breathe once I got in the tunnel to fly with the blasting wind, but taking deep breaths through my mouth got me adjusted. Side note: I do not have asthma or any other medical breathing issue. Once I got adjusted it was fine, but it did take my breath away for a bit! read more

Took my son for his 8th birthday and although he is a very cautious less thrill seeking child he was made to feel comfortable and confident with his coach Mr Adam. He made all of the guests feel welcome from tiny flyers to older flyers I saw everyone smiling and having a grand time including my son! Ifly was fun but Mr Adam made the experience for my mild thriller (think medium roller coasters is his choice when going to amusements parks) has a great time and would love to revisit. I'd def request to go with his coach again! We had a wonderful time!!! Very nice facility and we also learned a few things! If anyone is hesitant I say try it! AMAZING! Been wanting to do this for awhile now and took a trip to San Antonio and took the plunge with a friend who was just as eager as me to try it! Dave was our flight instructor and he was nothing short of amazing! He was funny, very knowledgeable and made us all feel very safe. The entire staff from the start was helpful and accommodating. Eva at the Check in desk was helpful and explained in detail what to expect as well as gave us pointers on equipment. Stephanie was very helpful in helping us print our pictures and videos at the end and when we ran into an issue with not getting all of our pictures, Amy was able to fix it via telephone when I explained to her we didn't get them all due to a minor mix-up. All in all I give this I-Fly facility two thumbs up for Excellent customer service all the way around from check in to leaving and I would not want to fly with anyone but Dave at this point. He is very skilled and will take his time and put you at ease. He wants you to have the best experience possible....after all, you are spending almost $100 for 2 minutes of flying time along with Class and equipment. You should have a great time. I have no regrets and can't wait to do it in my own city Houston as well as come back to I-Fly San Antonio when here again on a visit! I will definitely be requesting Dave Guerra! Having been given a flight as an unexpected Christmas gift, I had no idea what this place was about. I went with some trepidation, as skydiving has never been a desire of mine, but everyone in the group was excited and that was contagious. We were scheduled for a 10pm flight and the place was packed. After sitting around watching others be blown around in the tunnel, it was quite the amazing show when the instructors displayed their prowess. Anthony Belmonte was our instructor. He was very patient and helpful getting us familiar and ready for our flights. During the flight, he was reassuring and professional all the way through. His confidence and kindness fostered confidence in me, and that is what made this a fun, relaxing experience. The fly high was indeed worth it, despite my initial reservations. The whole event was both exhilarating and relaxing at the same time. I really want to give a extra thank you to Anthony. My mother had died just a couple of weeks before this event, and I was extremely emotional and vulnerable to the world. It would be safe to say the act of jumping in, letting go - while making minor adjustments - and trusting really is a solid philosophy in facing life without a loved one, or enjoying ifly. read more

The flying part? Yeah it was fun, but that's not the reason for this rating. I was gifted tickets to come fly and everything was great. I liked it so much I bought two tickets that same day to bring my gf out. I made a reservation for a Saturday morning. When her and I woke up, she was feeling really sick. Mind you she is a new Type 1 Diabetic and still in the learning curve.. At age 20! I called iFly in hopes of them understanding because of their "48 hour notice". And to my surprise, after explaining the situation to them once on the phone and once in person, they could not accommodate anything at all. Not even a discount on my next visit. Now I'm out $85 bucks, and they can't/won't do anything about it. Of course I could just come and fly solo, but what fun is that. This place is not DIABETIC friendly, not accommodating to this illness and have no intentions to. I will not return. read more

I went a week ago for my 22nd birthday with one of my bestfriends and we had such an AMAZING time! All the staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We went on a day that wasnt really busy so everything was pretty quick to get through. Came here for date night and I think I love him even more!!! This place is awesome! I was skeptical at first but this is the real deal Holyfield... Minus the plane ride, jumping out the plane and the outdoor scenery. The instructor I had was Chris. Super cool dude with lots of knowledge of skydiving. He made me feel real comfortable and I felt safe. Even though the experience is only a few minutes, when you're in the tunnel it seems like eternity. The extra bonus at the end is totally worth it for $10. The only thing I didn't like was the open face helmet. The wind is so strong it felt like my lips were going to fly off my face and if your mouth is open at any given time the wind will make it very dry. Sounds weird but it's a not a good feeling. I can't wait to bring my nephew here so he can experience it. The staff was very friendly and it's pretty amazing the tricks they can do in the tunnel. read more

I feel that this place is a big ripoff. Each session is 1 minute long and costs way too much money. If you want the instructor to bring you up in the tube it costs an additional amount of money but you get no extra time for it only get to "high fly". Whoopie do!! Based on the value for the money I would NOT recommend this place. For 6 people to fly for 2 minutes each was almost $500. And then on top of that they ask you to tip the flight instructor. Really?? My husband and I went here as a Sat night date night event. It was out of this world. It reinforced for us what casting all our faith upon the Lord means and what it yields. When we relaxed and enjoyed the present moment we soared like eagles and did well when we used our own strength we failed and sank to the bottom and did not soar and enjoy the experience. JoshS was the greatest instructor. He made it totally enjoyable and easy for a couple in their 60's to feel like teenagers again. I would recommend this to EVERYONE. The staff's awesome but if you're sit-fly or above forget about it. The tunnel is underpowered and the funnel shape keeps all the power at net level. I am a big guy ( 240lbs) and fly in bigger ifly tunnels just fine head down. I couldn't get enough lift for even sit-flying. The guy running the tube said he cant fly head down in it either and he's 170. The air is rough and even belly tricks were awkward. They said the Austin tunnel is better. Thanks to the staff though for being cool. They tried their damnedest to help me maximize lift but penguins don't fly.... read more

My son had a great time here. It was advertises at 4- 1 minute flight, but they broke it up as 2- 2 minute flight which was better. It worth it to pay the extra 10 dollars to do the high flight. It seems a little expensive for the time, but I know my 8 year old would have been worn out with much more time. We decided to check out iFLY on a whim and made a mobile reservation while eating lunch. This process was easy enough. The building is very sleek and futuristic. It's easy to spot when approaching from the interstate but not so easy to actually get to. Since we are not from San Antonio, it took a few attempts to figure out which exit side road to take to find the entrance path. Google maps hasn't caught up yet. And this brings me to my biggest gripe of the experience: the parking. There just isn't enough parking and the lot itself is poorly designed with only one narrow road in and out. There is construction in the area so maybe this will improve in the future. The actual indoor skydiving experience was great. The staff were all very friendly. It's worth noting that your reservation time doesn't coordinate with your flight time. We reserved 4:30 PM and we didn't start the training / gear process for another hour. Our instructor was entertaining and seemed passionate about the gig. The flight itself is a unique experience. Pay the $10 high fly option. I'm not sure why this isn't just bundled in already since everyone seems to do it and it's such a key part of the experience. As two grown adults would we do it again? Eh, maybe - probably when we have kids. It would be a killer birthday party activity for a younger crowd for sure. read more
