While the experience is good the organization does not care about customers. The front desk was very rude about us not signing in properly when the website didn't work. They want you to show up 45 minutes early but then make you sit around for 30 minutes and then on top of that were 20 minutes late for our time. You feel like it's about them making money and being efficient but with no regard for customers. My two starts is probably too high a rating. read more

This is the worst run establishment I have ever been to. I brought in my children as a surprise and were told by the front desk staff that the high flights weren't available. After speaking with other parents about this issue while my children were getting their flight costumes on, I found out that the unprofessional female running the facility (Amanda) has approximately zero management experience but masquerades like she owns the facility. This was evident when I inquired why the children were not allowed to do high flights and she proceeded to make excuses as to why they weren't available. I could tell by speaking with her that she had no idea what she was doing. As the CEO of my own modest company, my advice is that this organization should rethink its current management structure to ensure the future of the company. read more

My instructor was good and it was fun. But the pricing is not clearly stated. I purchased the $89. package and when I got there they upsold me on a high flight which cost $20 more. However, had I spent $30 (an additional $10) I would have got the high flight, VR flight and one extra minute of fly time. Also, their flights used to be 1 minute 40 seconds and now they are just 1 minute long. They usually have you fly 2 minutes at a time but call it 2 flights. Wish they would just state how much time you are buying rather than trying to compare it to a 12,000 foot freefall. Overall it was OK but I won't be encouraging anyone to do it just because it ends up costing way more than advertised. You would think a start up business would do more to get people to come back read more

I had some booking issues with this location that were a result of logistical differences between their corporate online presence and the store here in Calgary which is the only Canadian location. I reached out to their corporate marketing department to let them know and was promptly contacted by the local manager who humbly apologized for the mix up and offered to arrange to reschedule our iFly experience with accommodations. I came back for my first return flight and it was a super frustrating experience. We were forced to sit through the entire intro video again and chastised for being distracted on our phones. There was no opportunity to discuss a plan for the skills we would work on. I told him at the start that my shoulder was sore after my last experience and i wanted to learn to fly a tighter posture that most online instructional videos taught, but then the entire time they kept the windspeed so low i had to stretch full out, and kept telling me to relax and extend my arms way the heck forwards and up. Instructions were randomly thrust into the experience to try new skills with no plan, no introduction and hardly any time to get more comfortable with the basics. Serious feedback to spend the mandatory 30 minutes intro time PRACTICING the positioning and movements BEFORE getting into the wind tunnel, and make a plan for the skills you want to work on and how much control you want the instructor to exert over you. read more

Indoor Skydiving Experience This indoor skydiving facility recently opened in Northeast Calgary.I was able to experience it as one of the activities offered at a family reunion. I can hardly stop smiling, thinking about the experience. You simulate a freefall skydive in a transparent vertical wind tunnel. After an instruction briefing you suit up in a jumpsuit, goggles, and helmet. The instructor takes one person at a time into the tunnel where you float in the updraft. You choose how long your flight is. The basic flight package is two flights of one minute duration. Most of our group chose the two minute flights as we felt it takes a minute to get the feel that you are stabilized. Another option we took was the HiFly where the instructor takes you to the upper part of the tube. The instructors were all very proficient and would demonstrate their skills by flying around the tube after each group finished. It was amazing to be there just to watch them. The activity is for all ages. The ages of our groups ranged from about 10 to 75. read more

What a fun experience. Loved every minute. Facility was great, staff were extremely courteous and the instructors were patient and skilled. We had Connor, but I watched a few others and they were all very good. I'd recommend this to anyone, men, women, kids and even the less than young. We felt safe the whole time, and can't rave about it enough. read more
