Skydiving isn't for everybody but if you're somebody that wants to Skydive, I highly recommend Skydive Extreme Calgary. I booked my original appointment online a day ahead of my desired date. I had just spent a week in Banff and planned to top off my amazing adventure trip with one final adventure. Unfortunately, the weather on the day was terrible right up until my appointment time. Gratefully, the staff at Skydive Extreme was so accommodating and moved my appointment to the next hour. The weather cleared up and was gorgeous by the time we had been given our jumpsuits, harness and training. My tandem master, Scott, was the absolute best. He let me know what to expect and made me feel super comfortable. He also documented the entire experience, which I paid for as a part of my package. The plane was super tiny and especially packed with only the pilot and the 4 jumpers onboard. It was hard to maneuver but it was expected. When it was time to jump, I was overcome by excitement and a sense of peace that only God could give me. The jump was quick and amazing! The view was phenomenal! So gorgeous. Free falling is the most amazing feeling that is indescribable. It was freezing up there so next time I will ask for a flight cap for my ears. Scott let me steer the parachute and we twisted and turned in the air. The wind really helped to keep us going for a while. It was awesome. Finally we landed softly and I was in nirvana. I honestly can say it was the most amazing experience of my life. I'm so glad I made the decision to come here for my Skydive. I only wish I could do it again with the same team but I live thousands of miles away. I'll definitely plan another trip as soon as possible. read more
