The tax credits made it that much more appealing. We just activated our solar system and we couldn't be happier with the results. Why San Antonio Solar was the choice for us? For starters they truly believe in QUALITY! The best products, backed by the best warranties in the industry, by the best installers. We have gone through the entire process working with Sean and David. We are so pleased with the attention to detail throughout. Their warranty is straight forward, products are backed for 25 years along with the installation. Simple! When talking with their installers, they also reaffirmed that SA Solar wants them to do quality work and not just rush through the jobs. Our solar solution included SolarEdge HD-Wave grid tied award winning inverter with integrated car charger. It is compact, efficient and so cool as far as inverters go! As part of the project we also asked SA Solar to build a pergola in our backyard and mount the solar panels on top tilted to the south allowing us maximum energy production. The team designed and installed a Gorgeous pergola that's also very functional, for us to enjoy for many years to come. Now that it is all set up, all we can say is WOW and THANK YOU to the amazing team at San Antonio Solar Panel.

Great service. I called for service and was able to get service quickly. Harrison arrived on-time,…read more& communicated his arrival. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable having taken over his Dad's business and apparently raised in the business. I explained we were looking for an AC tune-up and assessment on our guest house. A previous guest had some AC background and had taken a few liberties with adding equipment and changing the duct work. He had also implied there could be mold in the unit. We took immediate action to call Air Texas and have things properly addressed as we have new guests and wanted everyone safe and happy. Harrison took an initial look at the attic unit with me and then began his workup using some state of the art probes and tools. He even quickly repaired a hole, that had shabbily taped up, with the proper AC product tape to ensure it was not impeding the function of that area. We then went to the out door unit, he set up his equipment and we were ready to begin his testing process, a period of about 20 minutes with AC running and him monitoring. As the test ran he looked over the units, took the time to document the condition of the exterior and full interior of the units with pictures! He showed me the Pics he had taken, carefully explaining each part and the areas function, as well as its current condition. As the monitoring cycle had completed he also explained, in depth, the output data of monitoring software. The unit appeared to be running properly and optimally. It was clean, in some area new looking, in other areas it looked normal with some light and expected dust, but no mold! We also discussed things pertinent to AC's and homes in general like water quality, reverse osmosis systems and water softeners, water quality testing. This guy is a wealth of information! He entire visit was about 2 hrs. He had done a thorough assessment, had wrapped it all up neatly and concisely with the data, pictures and recommendations. He provided an estimate for sealing the ducts as well, which we received quickly. Overall I would be hard pressed to recollect having a service technician of this caliber. We will be utilizing his services again going forward to keep the heat pumps in two homes in good shape. And here is the fun part, after all that you have read about this visit, the charge for this service visit was $115. Very reasonable! Thank you Harrison.

In conjunction with Texas' mid-February 2021 big-freeze & 3.5 days without power based on ERCOT's…read morestatewide directed rolling power outages, we decided to add a whole-house, stationary backup generator. We contacted several local (San Antonio-metro area) electrical contractors to investigate pricing and timing of backup power; primarily to keep the heat and lights on. We selected Advanced Solar & Electric (ASE) for the job. The wait was long -- 8.5 months from order until delivery -- delays based on Covid-19 and Supply-Chain issues; not the contractor. IMPORTANT NOTE: When tied into the electrical-grid, Solar systems do not work without inbound power from the grid. The ASE Team did their best to keep me informed of equipment status. They submitted plans to the City and CPS Energy, obtained necessary permits, and once the equipment arrived, they were very flexible in scheduling the installation with me. My biggest frustration with ASE was the fact they don't have on-staff plumbers or sub-contract with local plumbers to add a fuel-source for your generator-set and assist homeowners in controlling costs or being taken advantage of by unscrupulous profiteers. I needed a tap directly off the natural gas-meter approximately 20 - 25 feet in length. When selecting a plumber; quality of work and pricing were of paramount concern. Price bids were all over the map -- ranging from a high of $5900.00 down to the $1200.00 range. We selected the $1200.00 bid as the plumber had done previous work for us. In the end, the process was time-consuming but we're very happy with the generator-set installation. The overall appearance and integration with our pre-existing solar system (SunPower - a different vendor) and the additional gas-line tap are aesthetically pleasing. The generator kicked into action yesterday -- 2/3/2022 when local power went out due to our latest Winter storm. It ran for 6.5 hours until CPS restored local power and the auto-switchback feature is great. Lastly, we selected a Kohler 20 KW (whole-house) unit over other brands because of it's composite case versus aluminum. Neal S
