But, even if the preparation for the path does include a traditional 4 year college, this school helps build a good foundation for that as well. Some paths they offer are A/V productions, Automotive Collision, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Electrical, Cybersecurity, Firefighter, Forensic Sciences, Horticulture, Welding, and Wood Manufacturing. The formula here is hire highly accomplished industry experts to train the students to be industry ready. They stay current on their industry knowledge with industry business partners. The students participate in internships through their industry partners and everyone hopes those internships lead to fulltime positions when the students graduate. Today I was here for " Signing Day" when the students sign their intent to go work for the companies they have interned for upon their graduation. It was an amazing thing to see and feel the energy and excitement in the room and see the pride in the parent's eyes! I have an opportunity to visit such programs all over and have to say I am not sure there is another program that does what they do better than Lewisville does it!

Our son earned a full academic scholarship straight out of high school and is a 2021 Graduate…read more He completed the JSOM Program, Collegium V Honors, a BA in Cyber Security. UTD was a good fit for him, he enjoyed the campus, and felt he got adequate support from his professors when it came to learning, study abroad opportunities, and internships. He commuted from home but would have loved to live on campus (we simply couldn't afford it). He would have been more aggressive about living on campus if there were more activities/ events to attend but UTD is not that kind of campus. They have a little bit going on ...  but nothing like UNT, TAMU, or Baylor. He did one study abroad trip to Finland. He made many friends, had a few awesome adventures, learned a lot more about this industry. It was life-changing for him. We are so grateful that he had that experience because once COVID19 was here the program was shut down.  COVID19 changed colleges nationwide and until the pandemic is under control, college life is not going to be the experience it should be. The key that opened doors for our son was internships.  Four internships landed our son a FT job this past March 2021 ... before he finished his finals at UTD. #ProudParents Goodbye JSOM at UTD! She's positive and motivating, yet creates a relaxed and comfortable environment for learning. Class sizes are small. I jumped into classes here somewhat blindly. I couldn't find any reviews. I barely found Farmers Branch on the map. Now, I'm happy to fight rush hour traffic to get to class every week.

We purchased 8 - 2 hour sessions to prepare her for the Mar and June ACT. He came once a week initially and then we moved to every 2 weeks toward the end. My daughter really enjoyed her time with him and felt it help to prepare her in ways she could not have done on her own. His admin called me the night before to cancel as she said we were outside of their service area. I asked if they did not know this two months prior when I made the appointment. I offered to find an alternate tutoring location once the assessment was completed but asked that they conduct the assessment since we waited TWO MONTHS. Michael Jordan refused and proceed to email me, blaming me for not reviewing a map on his website. He was flippant and rude to the point where I had to ask him not to email me again. The person that referred me to him said they would NEVER recommend this company to anyone ever again. If I could rate "zero" stars, I would. Found the most amazing SAT tutor later.
