I have had back to back classes where the air conditioning doesn't work. It is summer and people are getting off of work sweaty and musty. They don't even offer us an explanation. We pay too much for this education for the a/c not to work. read more

Be prepared for graduation ceremony to be 1-2 months after completing the program despite them proving a graduate date upon signing up. Meaning you will have to travel back to Irving, take time off of work if allotted by your new employer to attend your graduation. The programs, instructors and financial aid are great. Although the administration is clearly lacking. Needless to say, if, you're ok with completing your trade accomplishment and missing out on a milestone recognition then this is a school to attend. Just be prepared to not have the honorable recognition in timely manner. read more

Did a tour of the campus. I would say I am impress with what UTI had to offer. I am stuck in between careers. But by the end of the tour. You're stuck in a room with the administrator on what you want to do. Either proceed or not. The guy mention if youre not too set on it. I could put a "down payment" to pretty much hold my spot. Mentioned I had 2 weeks to think about. Thought it was a good idea so I put the so call "down payment" just in case I was dead set on attending to UTI. Well I called 4 days later. Spoke to the same guy and they couldnt refund my money due to me signing the form. The form that he mentioned I had 2 weeks to think about. Dude gave me attitude right away when I mentioned refund. Should have read the terms and agreement but also he should not have said anything at all that was NOT true. Administration is a joke. Probably the reason why they dont have a google review for these cases. read more

If i could leave 0 stars i would. I would first like to point out that at one point you were also able to leave a google review but I'm assuming in an attempt to cover any negative feedback they contacted Google about it. Crazy huh? I had to actually scroll to find a yelp review just to leave this one. I'm a veteran would like other veterans to not waste their hard earned gi bill on this as this will not teach you any skills. I also was told I'd have to pay out of pocket on top of my gi bill. I hope y'all respond to this because it's actually gonna be comical to see your response to that. The material is definitely not worth $45,000. Not even in the slightest. I would love for any family wanting to send their child off to receive a secondary education to think twice because you as a consumer who is going to dump loads of money shouldn't be ripped off. Send your kid off to a dealership or small shop as a lube tech/full service shop because they will learn so much more in 6 months than they will in the year to year and a half at this terrible business. That's what it is a business and you are the customer not a student. The instructors are rude as all can be and i think that's because they have higher admins making life harder on them rather than letting them be actual professionals in their field. The instructors want to teach but are held back due to standards from the higher echelon. A good portion of the equipment is non functioning to the point where we have to pretend it works right. Crazy how they make roughly $45k off each student rather that be from grants or straight up out of pocket. Is that money going to someone else? We invest in ourselves or so we think by going to the "accredited university" but they don't invest in us. They are partial to some staff as well. The instructors I've learned the most from are the ones who don't bend over and take it and for them i am grateful for. I'm expecting some sort of backlash from this. If that tells you anything. Top notch instructors, even high standards in regards to professionalism. Recently graduated from UTI - Dallas. Best investment by far in my life. Other automotive institutes claim state of the art, well their perception is their reality and it's far from the truth. UTI will do its best to attend to the individual needs of each of their students in regards to employment and housing. Instructors were claimed to be inconsiderate or disrespectful...which none were. Keys to success, put as much effort in life as you want someone to invest on you. You claim they have failed you but how could they if you are not willing to follow rules. All employers seeking dependable help have their own rules. If you are immature with Peter Pan complex then UTI or anything is not for you! You think you had a good teacher/instructor at your prior school or job. Did they answer your questions with a gleeful face and professional manner? Mr. Sutton does, would anyone with life disappointments do that!? No! They sometimes have to do triple shifts for weeks on end as a show of their dedication to their students. Make the right life career choice and sign up for their free student guide and don't forget to ask for the MSAT programs. You better come correct and put forth the effort. Next thing you know you will see everyone pass you by if you don't. Are you a groupie or a rock star? Everyone I have dealt with at this school has been wonderful. My son went to this school for only a short time, about 6 months before he was killed in a car accident and the support we have received from his classmates, instructors and administrative office has been nothing short of amazing. Dalton was so excited about getting into school here and even received "student of the course" a couple times. The "family" he gained while attending school and the warmth we have received is so very touching. read more

I just want to mention that all the staff in all departments are nice and very amazing, but I highly recommend any of the students to talk to Mr. Torres when it comes to the education department. I highly do not recommend renner . He has an attitude. I don't know what he thinks he is . Very easy to get along with Mr. Torres but it is not with renner . I'm not going to say Mr. Renner, because he is disrespectful! He needs to work on his attitude!! And he was the only reason I have 3 stars , otherwise I could've done 4 stars read more
