Mani-The polish on my gel nails is horribly rippled. Two nails have a area near the side and nail bed that are not covered at all. Had to pay immediately after mani when I had a pedi scheduled. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. This is by far the WORST nail salon i have ever been to. First we started with my toes. i felt like i was being rushed to pick a color as i was still looking through the selection as I'm being called back. i bring the color selections over with me and my little cousin is sitting with me looking at the colors with me even though she already picked hers. This lady slaps my CHILD cousins hand. at this point i was ready to go but i gave her the benefit of the doubt. I tell her i want color 123. she comes back and starts on my feet and is just being so rough for no reason. she goes to paint using the color i selected and i was deep in my phone so not paying her no mind, i look down and she's putting RED GLITTER on my toes when i didn't ask her. i stop her immediately and she takes the glitter off but doesn't bother removing all of the polish underneath, just painted over it. she also didn't push my cuticles back so all of the polish is bunched up in my cuticle. also the towels they use didn't have a very pleasant smell. so we move on to my nails and now I'm paying real close attention, she drilled the heck out of my regular nails, didn't buff them, file them or anything. so at this point I'm ready to cry, the owner comes up and asking what's wrong and i tell her my natural nails looked horrible and ruined and she gaslights me into thinking they're suppose to. I was damn near in tears at the end of my experience and my nails and toes look like shit. I also want to point out that somehow after knowing they gave us a horrible experience 3 pedicures and 3 full sets came out to over $300 for shitty service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!! read more

I went and got a fill and gel polish yesterday. First of all, cuticles were never pushed back, my nails were filed uneven, the polish was lumpy and the acrylic was over the side of the nail bed. This caused my nail beds to ache. I found cuts around my nails. I went back today to get them fixed and the owner charged me to have them fixed. I went here once with my mom and things seemed to be going ok at first, but the vibe turned sour very quickly. I felt like I had to stay and get my pedicure done otherwise the ladies at the salon would be mad. The overall feeling was ok but I couldn't help but feel like the people were annoyed at me which I could not really shake off. My mom left because she didn't like to stay and feel forced to stay and get the pedicure and I honestly should have left with her because it was awkward after. My first visit and last. Had a dip done, they just don't know what they're doing. I'm not overly picky but have had dips for years and these folks need ALOT more practice. 4 coats and still see thru color. 1) they brushed so hard after each dip that they removed powder 2) charged extra $10 to do cuticles, always included everywhere else 3) 4 coats and still see right thru And not thick at all 4) cheap - barely use cuticle oil and lotion - literally went back to car and put lotion on. Could also be cheap powder so it doesn't have good coverage. Way too much drama for just trying to get a quick dip mani. $31 dip + $9 to clean cuticles that were just done so not much to clean. $40 and moving on. read more

I went to get a full set of DIPPING POWDER with tips. They agreed and even asked me what color I wanted. When they started taking off the dipping powder I had on my nails their way of doing it was prying it off with a nail tip. I politely asked the lady not to use that because it hurt and not even two minutes later my fingers were bleeding. She didn't even acknowledge that my fingers were bleeding until I said some thing. I asked her if it would be safe to put products on top of a opened cuts and she spayed my hands and it's alcohol. She continued to do my nails and everything was fine. At the end she put gel on top of the dip when I asked for dip. Than charged me 58$ for it. The gel is lumpy and uneven. I would NOT recommend. read more

The lady that did my nails was so rude she said 38 for a full set gel plain set of short Seletto nails over the phone then when I sat down at all the sudden was 48 and then for no reason out of nowhere because she added too much gel and made them longer than I asked her to she told me I was going to have to pay her 55 after she's clearly stated $38 on the phone which I have recorded her saying that and as soon as I got to the salon it was $38 until I sat in her chair and she had the nails onThen all the sudden it was $55 out of nowhere if you wanna get ripped off and have a hideous job done your nails and be degraded because of your race this is the place for you, This is the most sad disrespectful shop of ever been into I had to walk across the street to the other nail salon and they offered me a free color clearcoat sheathing and dried my nails free of cost just because they couldn't believe how messed up the nails actually looked when I walked out of this shop, Forever nails is the place to go if you go here you're going to get ripped off treated like you're a ghost and ignored and they're gonna do whatever they think looks good and listen to nothing that you asked for and expect full price no excuse me not full price over price and I wouldn't mind paying that price if you actually did what I asked for but you did the opposite of what I asked for and then purposely sabotage my nails and expected me to pay you $55? This place is just not the best. The man who did my nails accused me of smelling like smoke and said it very loudly so everyone heard. I explained I was around a family member who does in fact smoke, trying to politely redirect the situation. He then proceeded to talk about it loudly, making me even more uncomfortable. To top it all off my nails looked awful. I had a gel manicure, my nails were uneven, there was gel polish on my skin (which takes forever to come off). I usually go to sexy nails but I missed my appointment so I had no choice but to go to idol. I paid $30 for a gel manicure at idol, and at sexy nails I pay $25 and they do such a great job and take their time as well as have great conversation and make customers feel comfortable. I wanted to give idol nails one star but I have two because I'm trying to be understanding. I will not be going back here!! read more

I went here a few weeks ago and got an acrylic full set with my sister. We didn't wait too long. The lady who greeted us was very friendly. But when I sat down to get my nails done, I feel like I was being talked about especially with us two being the only customers with an odd amount of talking and giggling. that alone was enough to make us have an uncomfortable experience. Also after my nails were dry and I left I noticed that my acrylic wasn't even covering my whole natural nail underneath. Beyond disappointed with my experience here. Went in asking for a full set of acrylic nails. Nail tech answered a FaceTime call within seconds of starting my nails which I found inappropriate. I asked for my nails to be short and round. The nail tech cut them down and showed me the look. I told her I thought they were too long and asked her to shorten them again. She pretty much told me no. Then I told her twice that I wanted rounded edges for my nails. She barely filed them. I was left with nails so square with such sharp corners that I actually scraped my daughters leg when I picked her up when I got home. Besides the actual acrylic nail issues, the paint job on my nails was horrific. Bubbles on two nails, four nails are not even completely painted, two nails have thin color at the top so it looks very streaky. I actually went to the store as soon as I left idol nails and bought the coarsest nail file I could find and spent two hours tonight filing my nails down so they are at least a little shorter and rounder like I wanted in the first place. I paid $25 plus tip for this really bad manicure. I guess that's why this place charges $10-15 less than other nail places around for a full set. I'm actually considering going to another place just to pay to have my nails shaped the way I want. Also, idol nails needs some serious ventilation. I've never been in a nail salon that smells this bad and has so many chemical fumes in the air. Long story short, don't waste your time or money at this place. read more

I've been going here for 2 &1/2 years now and several months ago it changed owners. I'll admit it took a little getting use to but "Kim" who always does my pedicures and "Henry" who does my acrylic nails are still there and continue to do a superb job. They're prices for services there are very reasonable. I always get gel nail polish on my hands and feet because my hands take a beating at my jobs.
