I went here based on someone else's recommendation and it started out good. They have a great selection of polishes but they are brand I have never heard of before. I like that they use gel and not acrylic powder to do your fills and the shape is amazing. However when it came time to my design I showed them the one I wanted and they said they couldn't do it because it was too intricate (it was a plaid design) my second choice was one with random lines that looked a little like splatter, they said that one was too difficult so I picked something easy just to be done. Two days after the fill the gel polish started to chip and the shine wore down and left the nail dull. I was very disappointed in not being able to get the design I wanted and then even more unhappy when the polish started to chip. read more

I've had mixed experiences here... First thing to know - appointments mean NOTHING. They accept everyone and never say no - they'll say it'll be 20 minutes but that usually means an hour. They typically have done a good job for me overall. I typically get designs and, again, they never say no, but occasionally they misunderstand what I ask for. Always be careful about up charges. I still go because I haven't had a bad experience yet but I go knowing I may spend 2 or so hours there so just be aware read more

The bags that their instruments are in are not sterilized. Their autoclave sterilizers are NOT plugged in or in use. When confronted of this they denied this even though I pointed out that the colored dot on the bag did not indicate that it had been sterilized. Called Miracle Nails to see if they could fit me in and they said come right over. I took my daughter here yesterday. The woman who did my daughters nails was pretty good. But the lasy jessie who did mine was absolutely horrible. My finger is still bleeding from her cutting me. I was charged $60 for a garbage job. If i didnt say something about the acyrlic not covering my finger all the way she would have left it. She also got up and walked away for 10 minutes without saying a word. Needless to say i will not be using the $10 off coupon its that bad there. read more

Unfortunately this business has gone downhill over the years. Today I went in with a $10 off coupon that I received late last year and they said they couldn't accept it although there was a line in the expiration date field. The woman was arguing with me in front of other customers. Very embarrassing. It is annoying because I recall buying a more expensive pedicure package in order to get the $10 coupon. She offered another $10 to replace it but I couldn't use it today I would have to come back by July which I live out of town and cannot use it by then anyway. So as nail salons go they are friendly, efficient, do a nice job, but are rude as hell at payment time. They watch you complete the tip portion of the credit card receipt and then say only...$$? Then proceed to tell you tip is 20%. Last I knew service was tipped according to service received and purchaser determined what seemed appropriate. I know a lot of food servers rarely get the 20% they work so hard for. Another in our party of three wrote $2 as she had cash in her pocket for the remainder she was tipping and got the same reaction. She only tipped $5 on her $45 bill and I tipped $9 as I felt on the spot by the young lady. I did however receive a hot towel massage that my friend did not, as our nails were drying. This review is a reflection of the service, not the nails. I booked four nail appointments at 1:30 and I did not get seen until 2:15, and the other three did not get seen until 2:30. Why have an appointment if you aren't going to be seen for 45 mins- an hour after? I would understand if we were just walking in but we booked these appointments four days in advance. Additionally, not one member of the staff seemed to care at all, I think because we were all between the ages of 16-21 the staff did not think we needed to be attended to. Great experience! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. All of the nail technicians were very friendly, even the ones who did not provide any services to us. We were greeted with water and our visit ended with a free bio-collagen hand cream, and our nails came out great! It was a relaxing experience and we did not feel rushed at all. I've never written one of these before and im bummed that the first one is negative. This miracle nails has been my go to nail place the last few times I've gotten a manicure and pedicure. The first couple of times were great and everything came out fine. This time was a different story. Pedicure was great (or so I thought) and then manicure was a mess. You can still see the color I had on my toes when i came in and I had cheap .99 nail polish on which the manicurist was unable to get off. He did one coat with a nude color and you could still see the color underneath. I offered to picks darker color and use that but instead he put 2 more coats on and then a top coat. Needless to say, the original color still shows through. Both were done in a hour which was no big deal but I definitely won't be going back again after the scoff by the manager for just a $7 tip. read more

My friends and I went to miracle nails for my birthday to get some pedicures. It was the worst experience I have ever had. We walked in the door at 11am on sunday the place was empty. A man comes over to us and we tell him 3 pedicures two of them gel and he immediately says $45 for gel. That was no problem, so we sit down and feel rushed the whole time. Every single worker was on their phones. My pedicure came out horrible and lasted maybe 15 minutes. For paying $45 i could have done a better job. Not relaxing at all and will NEVER return. read more

This was my first time at this salon. I made an appt and was excited to get my nails done close to home. First of all I am not too particular about my nails, but the man who did my nails was absolutely AWFUL for the following reasons: 1. He buffed my nails without even looking at my nails 2. He painted my toenails (base, color and top coat) in 2.5 minutes. (Not kidding) 3. Rather then trimming my cuticles, he pulled the skin, hurting my fingers 4. He Filed my great toenails unevenly, and slathered so much nail polish on it that it dripped to the side of the nail. A mani and pedi took him 30 minutes!!!! 5. Didn't even introduce himself, he would tap my legs when he wanted them in or out of the water. So of course after all of this, I went up to pay and told the woman at the desk that I really did not like my service and showed her my smudged nail. She made him fix it which he was happy to do. But honestly, my toenails looked better when I walked in with 3 week old polish then when I left. She gave me a $10 discount on my next service there but I will never be back.... that is how terrible it was! read more

I've been coming to this salon for over 10 years when Sue from So. Korea owned it was great one of the best salons in the area. Now it has been sold to a young woman who employs women from China who don't speak English and can't communicate with you. This girl with long red hair yea that's natural started to do a pedicure on me her attitude was horrible but I brushed it off when she started to put my food in the basin it was extremely hot I told her she scoffed then said; "this notta hot" I said; "it's to hot for me please add cold water". She then took on an attitude that cost me my patience. She was working on my foot when she had finished something she took her hand and tossed my foot into the water like a piece of meat. I then let that go thinking it was a mistake. I then had her repeat her rudeness once again with the other foot I asked her to ask me to put my foot in I had just had a knee replacement and a new hip and had to be careful with both my legs she proceeded to repeat this practice 2 times finally I told her to stop she then started spewing racial anti American rants in Chinese thinking none of us in the salon could understand her. Well she was wrong someone understood her then repeated it to all of us outside the salon. I've been going to that salon since Sue purchased it from her brother in law over 10 years ago I knew everyone in the salon then now they are rude. I told the manager she said I could have another girl and I said no I'll never be back. From what I can see there business is very slow now I know why I'll never ever go back. Be careful. read more

The other day I have a spa pedicure, the girl doing it took a good size piece of skin off my foot. Told her and she says I will stay away from area. Well, it wasn't there when I got there however they still charged me $71 to do my feet. Then I'm to do my nails I did not want her doing them however the boss decided to tell me "she's good" do not worry I called back to tell them I did not like the color it was an old color and showed two different colors on my nails however could not see it in the salon until I got into the natural light. Unfortunately due to continuous turnover of employees and the chunk out of my foot and no response I will not be returning very dissatisfied and quite honestly very let down. The man who was doing my nails asked me for a tip before he even started my nails and I would not have tipped him $7 if I knew how awful of a job he was going to do. I started coming to this salon last year. I love Jacky, he is the absolute best. They are so organized and almost always have an opening. They go above and beyond even for just a gel manicure. They take their time fixing your nails, don't charge for gel removal, and give you a light back massage at the end. I go every two weeks and get a spa pedicure and gel manicure for $60, and it's so worth every penny plus a good tip. read more

This salon is great. From the minute you walk in you are treated with courtesy and respect. They take your coat, put your bag in a basket for protection, and give you a neck massage while you are waiting for your gel to be removed at a 6.00 charge. AVOID THIS PLACE! I have a scar on my face because of them. I was here with my sister's wedding party getting our manicures and pedicures with five other people. One day we all did pedicures and a few got waxed. I waxed my upper lip and during the process, they tore off a one inch by 1/4 inch area of skin on my upper lip. I'm laying looking at the ceiling and the lady is muttering 'OH - I never make bleed before...' over and over again. She put some of that blue antiseptic stuff on it! The disgraceful owner of the place kept stopping me and studying the dent in my face and gave me some cream to apply at home. I had already paid and she would not give me money back. Two days later, we were scheduled to come back to do manicures (cause of tanning, don't ask :) -- I went along with my sisters and met the rest of the wedding party, just cause I didn't want to make a fuss on my sister's day- three people were already there and that same bag of an owner told my sister she would not give her tips on only two nails, she had to pay for the whole set. My sister has really long nails naturally but two broke - the lady told her she either had to cut all her nails or put the fake nails over her longer nails. She wouldn't budge. Declined doing what she wanted. We walked out - they would rather try to get that little extra bit of money from a whole set and would let three people walk out. The ladies that did our hair and makeup for the wedding told me something about how if a salon tears off skin it is because they keep their wax at too high a temperature to save money or something and it's a breach of the health code - that I should contact OSHEA. Save your face and have an actually pleasant experience getting your nails done - go to the nail place in Camillus. My friend and I paid for two manicures here with a $35.00 gift card. The total was $30.00, and we got $5.00 in change. Our nails came out splotchy and uneven, so we did not tip. We left the salon and as soon as we got about a foot from the door, we were being yelled at by two of the manicurists because we did not tip the two ladies. The last 2 eyebrow waxes I have had here have taken my skin off. The girl is very aggressive with rubbing the paper towel not tissue.... rough paper towel over your just waxed brow. I now have scabs under my eyebrow. They need to be more gentle. Something so simple could improve this experience. Please tell the girls to be easier on us!!! read more

First off... when I walked in, there was no one at the reception desk. They were busy, that's fine. I get it. I waited patiently. I asked "do you take walk ins?" because I know some nail salons are appointment only. So when someone noticed me, I asked if they did the powder "acrylic" (technically not acrylic and I know it's a lot to ask for in Syracuse...). They said they did so I picked out the color. When I sat down, my nail tech got confused about what I wanted and I said regular acrylics was fine with me. I asked if they needed me to sit in the waiting area while they worked out some kinks. They said yes, I politely obliged. So after about 10 minutes, a man motioned for me to walk over to his station. He began the process while I made light conversation. He wasn't interested, oh well. I would never force someone to talk to me, after all, I am here to get my nails done. I started watching the news. Now as he applied the acrylics and cut them I noticed that one hand they were longer than the other. I said oh, sir I think this one is longer. He said okay and went to even them out. So 45 minutes goes by and the man just drops my hands and lets out a huge sigh. Like he was completely done with me, all the while I'm just sitting there. So this other young woman takes over and all she did was put topcoat on my nails. This is where it gets good: I then proceeded to count all the other customers around me who were paying for the same service I was get hot towels on their shoulders, lotion on their hands and some oil and a quick hand massage. She literally painted top coat and said "Okay, you're done"..... I've been to a TON of nail places and I've never had this happen to me. Oh and one of my nails broke after 5 days, just snapped off. I will not be going back. I was entirely polite and adaptive the entire time. I'm not rude, I've worked customer service and it's not a good look to be an uppity b****, I normally don't even write reviews but I really could have used a hot towel that day and I feel totally ostracized. I went to this salon with my grandmother and the service was terrible. For $50 for 2 pedicures, they rushed and did a terrible job. Also, they make you pay extra to clean your feet better and do terrible design I could do myself. They honesty are one of the worst salons I have ever been to. They are overpriced for the lowsey, inconsiderate they do. I will never go there again even if I get a gift certificate, I will throw it away! This business is the worst yet, please don't come here and spend your hard-earned money somewhere else. Absolutely terrible experience here. Paid 73$ for gel mani & pedi. Pedi was not gel. Showed simple design up front that I wanted (basic red w white polka dots!) tech told me he couldn't do it. After going back and forth with other techs he agreed to do it & polka dots looked like a baby did them. Did not apply top coat & had to remind him to do a top coat. Did not let them dry before rushing me over to another chair. Was rushed the entire time. Was making comments about my feet in another language & bitching the entire time. Place closed at 730- appt was at 615. A different tech did my nails w just the tools, no water soap etc, did not cut cuticles. Gave a one minute 1 handed half ass massage. Staff was so rude. After my first experience I decided to write this review. I read the other reviews first. My experience was very similar to the women who were also disappointed. The man who did my spa pedi never introduced himself or tried to engage me at all. He looked to the side out the front door the whole time. My friend next to me got a spa pedi too. I was watching the woman doing her and all of the treatments she was getting I wasn't. He was hurting me too. I got the tap too when he wanted me to move my feet. Afterwards we went to the drying table. Both women on either side of me got the massage with a hot towel. He came to me and with one hand he went through the movements to appear to massage one shoulder again distracted. I turned to him and asked why I wasn't getting the heated towel and the other spa worker told him to go get it. He did but it wasn't worth my time. He pretty much put it behind my back and pulled me back against the back of the chair for 30 seconds. He wore a white v neck undershirt which is very tacky. All the other men wore Abercrombie shirts. Afterwards we compared notes in the car. I never got the scrub brush over the toes or the citrus scrub. We all got a certificate for $10 next time without complaining so the woman who got one after complaining was supposed to get one automatically so she shouldn't feel like she got compensation. I liked the quietness. The employees were not chattering to each other in another language and even when the phone rang the people answering were respectful and spoke quietly. They have the makings of a great place but they need to weed out the employees who really don't want to be there. read more
