Nope. Nope. Nope. Smudged my nail polish I paid $45 for and gave my mom FOOT FUNGUS she has to this day. They clearly aren't sanitary.

Terrible experience. I was in the chair 16 minutes from start to finish of my pedicure. Basically took of old polish and put on new.

I've been with Cherry the whole time and absolutely love her- sadly I never take photos of my nails but I included the chrome ones she's done for me over the years! Prices are very fair. Would definitely recommend BOOKING AHEAD OF TIME, they are typically too busy for walk-ins.

Never any coupons, deals for however many times you go there, etc. The best seems to be to save a couple of dollars by paying cash over credit/debit card. It would be nice to feel appreciated and have some sort of reward or coupon program, given how large the business has grown to. #2: Lately, it seems that the nail techs are too busy to sanitize their tools in between customers. I really have no desire to catch anything from non-sanitized clippers, cuticle trimmers, or nail files. I would LOVE to see the techs opening sanitized tools in front of me while I'm there, so I know they're using clean stuff during my session. #3: I'm not sure if it's the tool or the techs, but I am so sick of my fingers getting cut up by the edges of the nail files! Like a papercut but deeper and it stings!! #4: Not everyone is trained equally. Some techs refuse to learn simple new techniques. It could be because they are over-worked and always busy. I also don't think each person does the dip manicure or the cat-eye manicure the same way - which way is the right way? It's different every time, it seems, and some techs' manicures definitely have better staying power and durability than others'. Overall, I find that this is a pretty good value for what you get, most of the techs do a good job, and I love that cat-eye dip is now being offered, but I'm just starting to question what's going on here. Are the workers too busy and stressed? Do they need more time in between clients?

My natural hair is very frizzy and curly; It's what Korean people call "ak-seong gop-sul"…read more(malicious curl). I've stopped going to hair salons several years ago after trying to get the straightening perm at several different locations, because it was never successfully done. I used to have to pay at least $260 to get my hair straightened, always dissatisfied with the results, and I hated getting comments from the stylists like, "oh wow your hair really is curly", "wow your hair is a lot thicker than it seemed at first", "your hair is too thick and it is very difficult", & "we'd have to charge you extra because of your hair type".... Which all made me very hesitant when my boyfriend found GN Beauty and suggested I give it a chance. Well, I'm sure a picture will say it better than a thousand words. :) and yes, the price was better than how the other salons in my past asked for!

I specifically came to this salon because I wanted wispy bangs in the style that Koreans typically have them. I contemplated getting a digital perm prior to coming here but decided that I wouldn't. However, the man who worked here convinced me into it. He also tried to convince me into getting highlights, dye, and nails done but I was able to say no to those things. I had 3 workers take care of me that day. The woman was the main haircutter, one man washed my hair, and the 2nd man was the one trying to sell me services but also helped blow dry my hair. I cut over 6 inches off that day and got a super short bob haircut that I love! It is so easy to wash my hair now and my hair feels softer than before. The haircut itself was $30 and the digital perm was $100. Digital perms are a perm style popular in Korea. I thought the process would leave my hair super frizzy but it has been a week already and my hair is not frizzy at all. I also thought that it'd leave my hair wreaking of perm product scent but it didn't either. I was able to wash my hair normal the day after and do everything I normally do with my hair. They said the perm should last around 6 months. With the perm, they can control how curly or wavy you want it. I just wanted a slight wave and the stylist agreed that I shouldn't make it too curly or wavy. She understood what I wanted and I trusted her experience. She's been in this location for around 3 years but prior to this did hair in Korea. My appointment was for 5:30 and they close at 7 but they stayed much later after closing time to finish my perm. The perm itself took around 2 hours to do. The haircut was super quick. I was surprised by how quickly (almost savagely!) she did the haircut and how she chopped off so much length in just one scissor chop rather than multiple snips. The workers there speak limited English but I was able to get my points across with images of hairstyles I wanted. They do nails too. A full set is around $50. There is plenty of parking. They took my appointment via Facebook Messenger request.

The workers truly are kind and it is a clean establishment. My manicure was awful, lasted maybe a week. Was gel French. I mentioned that I thought the color looked cracked and I could see my old nail polish underneath and the nail teach that's what the picture looked like. I personally didn't feel appreciated as a customer with that response, as it was for a wedding and I would've preferred it looked how I wanted. Before this year I had had good experiences with BV. I hope they can fix these issues because it is certainly an expensive experience to not be great.

I asked for dip with tips and a regular pedicure. The nail tech who did my pedicure was unhappy with the fact that I chose the regular pedicure and kept trying to upsell me. She was unhappy I chose a light color on my toes because it was more coats. She continued talking in a different language the whole time which made me feel like she was talking about me. She used gel polish and didn't even ask if I wanted it or that it was $12 extra. I found that out at the end. I was a walk in so I didn't mind waiting but I was told "15 min" and it was like an hour. The woman who did my nails seemed to be rushing. She forgot to turn the UV light on and blamed me for not telling her. She filed excessively and never pushed my cuticles back. I asked for short and she didn't even ask what shape she just filed square. The nails turned out pretty good but the experience wasn't great. It was very expensive and I know nails are expensive hence why I only do them for special occasions. The fact that they didn't even tell me about the up charge on the toe polish really upset me seeing I chose the basic pedicure for a reason. I was there for 3 hours. It's been a week and 3 of my nails broke at the cuticles and peeled off. I paid for dip which is supposed to have better hold up. I will not go back and I don't feel comfortable going back in and having them fixed because they already look grown out. Save your money ladies.
