I am absolutely disgusted by my experience at Idina Bridal today. I walked in newly engaged and overjoyed to start looking for my wedding dress. As a proud Jewish woman, I asked if they carried any Israeli designers -- a simple, polite question. The sales associate could have easily just said, "No, we don't carry any." Instead, she chose to make a point by telling me that they are boycotting Israeli brands. When I replied, "Well, I don't need to shop here then," she smirked and said, "Probably not." That wasn't professionalism -- it was hostility. She knew exactly why I was asking, and rather than respond respectfully, she went out of her way to inject her political bias and make me feel unwelcome. I fully understand that people have different viewpoints about this difficult time and the conflict in the Middle East -- but there is absolutely no excuse for taking it out on customers or for treating anyone this way. What I experienced today was unacceptable, offensive, and frankly disgusting. Let's call it what it is -- antisemitism. Singling out Israeli designers and speaking to a Jewish customer with such contempt is discrimination, plain and simple. There is no place for that kind of behavior in any business, especially one meant to celebrate love and joy. I left feeling hurt, angry, and deeply disheartened. Idina Bridal should be ashamed of how their staff behaves. If you believe in kindness, respect, and standing up against antisemitism, do not support this store. Seattle has many wonderful bridal boutiques that know how to treat people with decency -- Idina Bridal is not one of them. read more

Did not love my exeprience here. It was my first time trying on gowns and was a very uncomfortable. I made an appointment and went in by myself. The associate (Selena) was very helpful and was mainly in charge of my appointment, but the other woman working with her (I think it was owner, Nadine) was very pushy and kept interjecting into our appointment. Should be noted that this review is solely based on how Nadine treated me, not Selena. A few things Nadine did really made my experience a very negative one: 1. Although my appointment was in March and I did NOT want a custom gown, Nadine immediately told me my wedding in December timeline was "tight" and "probably not possible" before I even tried my first dress on. It should be noted that when you make an appointment, you fill out when your wedding is. If my timeline did not suit the business' timeline, then I would have appreciated a call witht he concern prior to the appointment. I believe this was really an attempt at creating a false sense of urgency. 2. Nadine kept popping in and out of my dressing room even though she was helping another bride during the same time, suggesting dresses I had absolutely no interest in trying on. She kept pushing a style that I corrected her multiple times saying I did not like. She continuously pushed the style of dress (poofy ball gown - she was insisiting every for fitting dress I tried on should have an ugly tool overlay over it) and veil (a cheap pearl veil that looked like it was from the dollar store). Poor Selena would put me in a style I liked only to have me stand on the floor and have her come over immediately with these items after I repeatively said no. 3. There was one dress that Selena was having issues zipping and I think Nadine hear us chatting about it, burst into the dressing room (while I was half dressed) and said "that dress will NEVER fit her. You'll need at least two sizes bigger and we definitely dont have that". Extremely rude and beyond inappropriate. The last few points are not completely related to Nadine, but I recieved multiple calls the day of saying that they would not have the proper staffing and wanted to move my appointment, even tho I made my appointment 3 weeks in advance. I was open to being flexible at the time and they did eventually end up accomodating my original appointment, but since I have now shopped around I realize this is a completely unprofessional request. The store in UVillage is also dated and not very well kept, although they do have beautiful dresses. It was also a little unnerving showing up to my appointment early only to have to wait because there was a group of teenagers prom appointment running over. While Selena was very nice and we definitely vibed, Nadia made me so uncomfortable that I cancelled my follow up appointment and was afriad to go back. I ultimately decided I do not want to give this store any of my business based on how I was treated. I was not going to leave any reviews because I did really appreciate Selena, but I got an email this morning asking me to write a review (addressed to "Hi %NAME%," - how personal!) so here we are! TLDR: I'm sure they have some beatiful dresses, but unless you have the exact same taste as the owner and are a body size she deems respectable, just go somewhere else. $35 is not worth you mental health and friday afternoon. read more

Don't bother coming to this place. My fiancee paid $35 for the appointment, got there early, the store associate pulled out 8 dresses, fiancee tried the first few and thought it wasn't her styles and wanted to try something different since it was her first time, fiancee asked store associate twice if there are other style, but the store associate didn't let her try out other things. At the end of appointment, store associate apparently was busy doing inventory and other things and my fiancee awkwardly left early. I complaint to the store and this screenshot is what they told me. They trust their own store associate rather than actual customer feedback and actually blamed us for overstaying and that they did a good job. read more

Associate was cold and dismissive when I said I wanted to try on a different style. She (Selena) told me to just keep trying the two dresses that I didn't love - as if that would make me like them more. I had asked her twice and she invalidated me, saying I won't like any other styles. Towards the end she left me to zip my own zippers and stood by the front desk, not even doing a proper "check-out". I left feeling like I wasn't taken seriously. Which is a horrible feeling especially since this was the first bridal shop I decided to visit. This was supposed to be a special once-in-the-lifetime moment for me. When I brought this up to my fiancé he was upset so he called them requesting a refund for the $35 I paid. Selena took the message and when the issue was brought up she said that "that's weird" and asked for a suspicious amount of details, just to tell us to email their operations for the refund. So we sent an email expressing our genuine disappointment. The operations associate responded with a half-hearted apology for my disappointing experience, then gaslighting my own experience by saying that "per their records" the sales associate went "above and beyond, even going past the appointment duration". I arrived for my 4pm appointment early and did not begin trying dresses immediately. I even have a selfie of myself back in normal clothes with just a veil at 4:46. I did not go overtime as accused. I'm suspecting Selena tried to take as many notes in the system based on the phone call to seem like it was a diligent appointment, when it was far from it. Before leaving, the manager asked Selena if she wrote down the styles of the two I liked best (did not love). She said "yeah" while standing at the front desk with her back turned against me. She didn't actually bother to write down anything for me because she knew I didn't like those dresses - she couldn't be bothered to actually help me find something I did like. That was the final message that she didn't want me there anymore so my friend and I awkwardly left. read more

They were having the most incredible trunk show for Daalarna couture, and helped curate a custom look just for me. They were able to expedite my order with the talented designers all the way in Hungary at Daalarna couture and stayed in touch every step of the way. Terrible experience! My original review was removed. READ!!! I am a business owner in the wedding industry and I am payed to put together large workshops for the creative community, specifically photographers to learn new techniques and sharpen their skills. I arrange and put on the whole event, including securing the wardrobe for the day. I reached out to Nadia, the owner of both IDINA Bride and co owner of Nadia S Evening, months prior to my event and asked about borrowing a specific dress and asked if I could receive it by a specific date. She replied that she'd be willing to help and that getting the dress to me by that date wouldn't be a problem as long as I cover the cleaning fee for the dress (which was $250) I payed her and did not hear back for days. I still hadn't heard anything for a few weeks so I sent another email asking for an update and explained that I just wanted to make sure everything was in order for the big event. I heard nothing back. So I reached out on Instagram (the DAY that I asked for the dress to be in my possession) and this time sent a voice memo explaining that I was feeling stressed that I had not been receiving clear communication and just needed to make sure everything was in order for the big event in a few days. With the lack of communication I felt like I couldn't trust that the dress that I paid for would make it in time... and my intuition was right. A day before my event she reached out and told me that she couldn't get me the gown that I needed (the one that everyone who payed for my event was expecting). She told me that she could send me a different dress and she would overnight it. I reluctantly agreed because I didn't feel like I had another option. The day of my event I received the box and opened it up to see a completely RIPPED APART DRESS!!!! I was so heartbroken to see that she would send something in this condition AND not even communicate with me about it's condition prior!! It was an awful representation of a designer dress. My team was in complete shock at Nadia's lack of communication about the dress and that she'd let something so awful leave her business to another female small business owner who expected and payed for her to deliver. This dress was UNUSABLE. Literally ripped apart and tattered. I contacted Nadia right away and kindly asked for my cleaning fee back because I would not be using this dress and sent her dress back. I heard nothing back and months later she responded that she would not be refunding my money and told me that if I speak up that she'd pursue legal action against me with her lawyer. Tl;dr- I had a great experience here, and would highly recommend looking for a gown here. Nadine is great, and there is a great selection of unique gowns. I made an appointment with IDINA Bride specifically to try on a specific dress by Chosen by One Day. This is the only local place that the designer is available, and they did have the dress I was interested in (NALA). Nadine got back to me very quickly to see if they could fit me in since she had another dress on loan (Anna Campbell Sydney) that was similar that she thought I should see before it got sent back the next day. I was able to try on both dresses, as well as a few other on my list. Nadine went above and beyond, and really took the time to make sure I could try on the dresses multiple times to compare. The Nala dress was not for me, but I did really like the Anna Campbell. I wanted to see our venue first, and Nadine followed up to say that she was able to keep the dress a couple of extra days and overnight it back if that would help me make a decision. The dress ultimately was too heavy for me, so I didn't purchase it, but my experience was incredible, and I definitely recommend looking for a dress. I am absolutely thrilled to have found the gem that is IDINA! I should start by saying that this is my first "Bridal Boutique" experience (unless my obsession with "Say Yes To The Dress" counts). Scheduling my private fitting was really simple. When my party arrived, we were greeted kindly by Nadine, the owner. The second I walked inside, I fell in love! So many gorgeous and unique gowns. While I liked a few, I fell head over heels for one Mermaid Cut Kitty Chen gown in particular! Throughout the fitting, Nadine was very knowledgeable and helpful. Wow wow wow! This bridal shop was everything and more, a clean and beautiful space close to the water with amazing dresses and a lot to pick from! The dresses there are just absolutely stunning! I am someone who can easily get overwhelmed, I had a warm welcome upon arrival and felt so at ease while looking through the dresses. IDINA bridal custom orders your dresses and the quality of them are superb, they also offer a payment plan which can be helpful for those who want a high quality dress but can't pay the price all up front. I'm happy to say that I said yes to my dress today! And I am looking forward to working with them during this process. Had a very negative experience here. The dresses were not what I was expecting, and when I tried to end my appointment so we weren't wasting my time or theirs, I felt a crazy amount of pressure to purchase a dress online from them that I liked at a different store. I have never felt so much pressure from a bridal boutique. This is suppose to be a fun experience, and unfortunately this was not that. read more

Top notch bridal store within the entire Seattle/eastside area. I went to 5+ stores and tried on 30+ dresses and I can honestly say the service and attention to detail from Nadine was far superior than any other store I went to. The other stores, I felt like I was in/out and just another bride they wanted to sell a dress to, whereas I felt Nadine really cared for helping me find the right dress and gave honest feedback too! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our appointment was at 4 and the group before us ran late so we didn't get in until 4:30. When we started, the lady helping us was not personable and came off very rude and irritated. She kept insisting that the bride (my friend), wouldn't be able to find anything like their dresses anywhere else. VERY FALSE. She had an attitude the entire time and had a very sarcastic tone. She was extremely pushy when it came to buying a dress. You could tell she wanted to leave but my friend was guaranteed an hour and a half even though the previous appointment went over 30 minutes but you could tell it irritated the employee. My friend thought she found the perfect dress but the lady kept pushing her to "say yes to the dress" so she did. My friend wanted pictures in the dress so as we were taking them the employee said under her breath that she was in a hurry and needed to leave. Then she said, "so what are we doing here" while we were taking pictures trying to hurry us up to order the dress and leave. My friend asked if she could come in to show her dad the dress and she said sure but they need to order it now to get the dress by July. Once my friend said she wants to order it after her dad saw it her attitude got so much worse. She wouldn't even talk to us and then she sat behind her desk waiting for us to leave. Then she said, "make sure you clean up the table before you leave" as if we weren't gonna pick up after ourselves. Then she repeated that she needs to leave now so we were rushed out. My friend did not buy the dress from there based solely on her horrible, horrible attitude. Such an ugly trait. But she found a much dreamier dress elsewhere :) I don't recommend spending thousands of dollars at this place if they're going to treat you like trash. read more

I cannot rave about this store and the service enough! They have the most beautiful dresses, carefully selected just for the store....many designers that you cannot find elsewhere. Nadine searches far and wide to get the most unique, fabulous dresses. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and has a great rapport with the designers that she stocks. I got not only 1, but 2 dresses from here! I had found a Pronovias dress I wanted at another store, but I loved my experience at Idina bridal so much, that she was able to order the dress for me, as they were having a trunk show for Pronovias that weekend and was able to extend me a 15% trunk show discount. I was very nervous about ordering it without trying it on again, so Nadine hopped on the phone with me (on her day off!) and answered any and all of my questions. I had found what I thought was the same dress at Kleinfelds for cheaper, and she took the time to call both Kleinfelds and Pronovias to make sure she was offering me the best deal. Turns out, it was the same dress but in a much cheaper fabric, so she was definitely offering me the best deal! She also went above and beyond and got her Pronovias representative to send pics and measurements of the size of the dress she was ordering for me so I could see exactly where it would fall in my bust and back. She also takes the time to find new and upcoming designers. She just had a trunk show from a designer from Chicago, Sara Varca, and her dresses were stunning! I found my perfect party/dancing dress that I would've never found otherwise. Again, she has such a great relationship with the designers and this really makes all the difference. I recommend this to any bride who wants individualized attention, amazing customer service, and a fabulous dress (or 2) to wear on your big day! read more

Paid $25 for 1.5 hour appointment and sales associate started rushing me after 45 minutes. No other bridal shopped I've been to charged for trying on dresses. I want to support small businesses like this, but I was very disappointed in our visit. When I called, the person who answered said the dresses that I wanted to try was all around $2500 (my price range budget) and had my size I could try on. She also said there should be dresses there with the style that I want under or around my budget. So, I paid the $50 (overly priced, but since I thought they had dresses my style and within my price range), I set my appointment. When we arrived, my group and I was not offered water or anything, I had to ask for water and I got one small styrofoam cup with water. Most bridal boutiques will offer champagne or atleast water to brides having to pay $50 just to set appointments. I was NOT impressed with this visit and sad because it was my first time trying on dresses as a new bride. So, sad to say, the dress I was promised to try on, was a couple sizes too small, my underwear was showing because the slip underneath was brunched up under at my tummy, and it was not flattering at all. After a couple more dresses, we decided to call it quits and settled our best dresses down to 2 dresses. When we were asked the price of one, they quoted us 6,000, because it was a "brand new" dress, and I guess was the first one to try it on? But why was I given a dress waayyyy over our budget in the first place. We said no and was about to leave when our stylist came over, CLOSED MY CURTAINS and CORNERED me in the fitting room, saying that the dress can be discounted back to $2500. If it could've been discounted in the first place, why did they try to sell me the dress for $6,000! The other dress we settled on was quoted $2500 but was a off the rack item that was torn and the buttons was broken. Also, if the styles that I wanted was under my budget, why did the stylist NOT TELL ME THEY WERE GOING TO BE OFF THE RACK DRESSES ON THE PHONE!???? I don't recommend coming here if you want a good/fun experience, as you should as a new bride! This shop is money hungry, and does not seem to care about the happiness of the brides. read more

I had a horrible experience with IDINA. I scheduled an appointment and called to cancel right at the 48 hour cancellation period. I was worried I would not be able to make the drive from Seattle to Edmonds with traffic at the time I have selected with my other appointments. So I rescheduled for another date two weeks away because I really wanted to come into the store. I ended up finding a dress elsewhere prior to the appointment and then cancelled my appointment with IDINA with more than two weeks notice. I was immediately charged $45 for canceling even though I was well within the cancellation range. I called them multiple times - many times they did not pick up, when I did reach them they were incredibly rude, not understanding, and would not help in removing this charge. I also emailed their customer service email and never received a response. I would not want to work with them in the future and would not recommend anyone going there. Horrible customer service, and all just to take my $45. It could have been so easy for them to make one customer happy and resolve my problem by refunding the $45 and then maybe I would have wanted to come in to look at other bridal products but instead I will never do business with them. No other bridal salon would treat a customer like this - I had extremely positive experiences with everyone that I worked with at BHLDN, Dress Theory, and A & Be and would recommend going there instead. Customer service is a zero. I looked at their dresses on their website and I see dresses within my budget. So I made an appointment to come in. I walked in, the person who greed me didn't seem thrilled Or excited whatsoever which is fine with me. Then she asked for about my budget. She then started pulling dresses that I had told her specifically I do not want. I didn't say anything. I just let her do her things. Here comes the best part, another lady walked in looks like the owner or manager, she asked me what my budget is and after I told her my budget, she said " you just need to try on dresses first without solely focusing on your budget because you might not be able to find dresses". So I said ok. I can do that. She the told me to try on dresses that are 1) no my style 2) 3 times my price. And when I said you know what I don't like the style of those dresses. She then said with your budget you should go to second hand store. This place is probably worse than a car dealership. Very pushy. Don't listen to anything you say or tell them. If you're not willing to spend 3k and above, don't walk in here. And be sure to dress expensive. I made a mistake coming in to my appointment in sweatpants. Both people who worked there looked at my as I'm homeless and I don't belong in their shop. I will not spend more than 99 cents for this place. Take your money to other shop. Go to Bellevue bridal. They have the customer service that every bride wants and look for. Whatever your budget is, however you dress, they will and still make you feel like you're a million bucket. And their dress choices is 100 times more than this place. read more

Indina Bride helped me find my dream wedding dress. My wedding was in 6 weeks, and I no longer loved the original dress I had purchased. I found another from a newer brand and discovered that Idina would be carrying the brand within the next month, so I reached out to see when they would have the dress in stock for me to try on. Idina reached back out the same day (on a Sunday) to see if I could come to the store because they were having a sample sale that included the dress I had my eye on that ended that same day and they had to return the samples to the designer on Monday. They graciously squeezed me in after hours and it was 100% worth it because the dress was a dream come true. I am so thankful for the Idina team's help in helping me find the most amazing wedding dress and making it possible on such an incredibly short timeline. Would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a dress that is different and not the typical bridal gown, but a dress that is more of a work of art! read more

I had visited close to five other bridal salons before coming to Idina, and had even considered the idea that maybe I just had to "pick" a gown, since I had tried on countless gowns prior and had yet to find the "one." But enter Idina, and from start to finish I can not recommend this boutique enough. First off, the shop is gorgeous, and has such a stunning collection of fashion-forward, yet unique gowns, most of which cannot even be found in other Seattle shops. At other boutiques, if I were to ask a question about fit or cut, I was usually told they'd have to ask a seamstress and get back to me, but Nadine at Idina was so knowledgeable and confident in the gowns, that I actually walked out purchasing a custom made gown at no additional cost than the original I had tried on. I also ended up purchasing my accessories from her too, since their collection was just so good. I think it's important to understand that by coming here, they are a small team, and so it can take a little bit longer to get in touch with them as things come up (I had some questions about my gown when it was being made), but it is more than worth it. I made a quick decision on purchasing a dress I fell in love with online for my daughter's wedding. The purchase was through IDINA. The dress did not fit at all like I had hoped, and I did not realize that I would only receive a store credit upon return. IDINA was more than willing to work with me and I ordered a second dress that also did not work out for me. The owner suggested sending some pics back and forth and offered to help me find a dress they thought would be fitting, which I really appreciated. Communication fell through a bit, and I was feeling like quite the problem customer, but a wonderful staff person, Najla, stepped up to help me. She went above and beyond to help me find a dress that I love and suggested shape wear for the remainder of my balance. Najla truly turned things around for me and kept up on communication, shipments, and followup. I cannot thank her enough for the personal attention to my order and situation. I went from thinking I had made a huge mistake not thinking my order through, to being so thankful for the help and attention to detail that I received.
