My employer has an exclusive print contract and the terms of it are interpreted in a way that prevents them from purchasing a printer or ink for me, which is mostly fine. On the occasions I need to have things printed, they'll pay for me to get them done here. But they need to be tax exempt and getting that set up - because my employer is in another state - has been kind of a headache. The system won't let my tax exempt status stick to my account. But that isn't the employees' fault, and I know that. The staff here are exceptionally helpful and patient and, frankly, have tried their darndest to circumvent whatever nonsense is causing the tax exempt status issues. They've created new accounts for me on multiple occasions, patiently entering the information for my employer. I've kind of given up on fighting the tax exempt fight because I am so, so tired and just pay out of pocket on the increasingly rare occasions that I need a few pages printed. But every print job has been done well, done quickly, and and staff are helpful. Definitely my go to spot for needing a few quick pages done. I haven't used larger print formats or anything specialized so I can't speak to that, and I haven't used their shipping options at all.

In and out in 20 minutes total. Oh, one thing that was super annoying was that we had an appointment get canceled the day before after setting the appt weeks earlier. IDK what that was about. 2nd appt worked. Tip: don't always go through PreCheck line... Sometimes normal security is faster.

That time, the associate suggested I opt for their "KITWATCHLIFE" service, a lifetime battery replacement for that specific watch, for $21.99 plus tax. It was only about $9 more than a standard battery replacement, so I figured that if I used it just one more time, I would come out ahead. I was told all I would need to do in the future was provide my phone number. I saved my receipt, just in case. Fast forward to today, I returned for another battery replacement. The store was empty except for one associate, Samantha. At first, she seemed hesitant, not because she didn't want to honor the lifetime service, but because she was concerned about damaging an expensive watch. She mentioned that if the watch was worth more than $150, they might instead offer to refund the lifetime service fee or transfer it to a different watch. I told her the battery had already been replaced twice there without issue. She decided to proceed and, to my surprise, replaced the battery in just a few minutes, much faster than previous visits. In the end, I definitely got my money's worth. If you have a watch that isn't particularly expensive, I think this is a good program to consider at Batteries Plus. Just be aware that some staff might be cautious if your watch is on the pricier side.

I just had a repair today and met his technician, Leon. He fixed the machine, pointed out some parts that may need repair/replacement and promised to provide me a quote. If I want to keep this relic, I definitely also want to keep Mike, Leon and Glenview Office Equipment.

Each time, the owner said he was not in the office, call me back later. I called back and the owner said he was busy and couldn't tell me about the shredder. This went on and finally, February 2020 I called and the owner said, "I don't know anything about your shredder and anyway, we're not responsible for anything left for more than 90 days. And we've moved." I am so upset, first of all because he never said anything about 90 days when I took the shredder in, and secondly, I called every month to check on the status, and obviously, he never even looked at the shredder. He is not worth a second look. Please be careful before you do any business with this scam artist.
