Matt and Alex from Ideal Temp provided us with the best HVAC service and installation experience ever. Our air conditioner stopped working on a Saturday evening during an August heat wave. We were priority service members with a large local HVAC/Plumbing company, so we called them first. We were told by their answering service staff that a technician could not come out until Monday, even though their website and membership information indicated 24-hour emergency and Sunday service. We called a second large company, and were again told that no technicians were available until Monday. We decided to call Ideal Temp after seeing all their 5-Star reviews online. Matt (the owner) answered our call at 10:30pm on a Saturday night, and set us up with a service call for mid-day Sunday. I joked that we were putting his 5-Star reviews to the test, and he said he looked forward to the opportunity. He arrived as scheduled after sending us a notification that he was 30 minutes out, and long story short, we had a significant leak in our evaporator coil. We had been wanting to upgrade to a dual-zone, high-efficiency HVAC system, so we discussed options with Matt and worked out a great deal for a just-released Bryant Evolution Series HVAC system with a 21-seer, variable speed air conditioner. The system also included an air scrubber, electronic dampers, and humidifier. We figured if they could pass the test and install everything in this cutting edge system, they could install any system. Installation was scheduled for Wednesday, and Matt let us borrow his portable air conditioner in the interim. Also, Ideal Temp has a wonderful communication system for reviewing and accepting proposals, confirming appointment times, and notifying customers about arrival times. Matt and Alex arrived on time on Wednesday. They protected our floors before getting started. Their installation process was very professional and organized. They were very friendly and personable, communicated progress throughout, disposed of the old system, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Aside from the new system, we couldn't tell they had even been here. They walked us through the entire system inside and outside and provided a demonstration of the humidifier and thermostat setup. Matt had said at the start that he couldn't wait to see our reaction after upgrading from our old basic system to this brand new high-efficiency system. Without a doubt, our house has never been more comfortable. The temperature is much more consistent throughout, and there is a noticeable difference in air quality and freshness, including stubborn areas that had always smelled musty. Matt and Alex did an amazing job with the installation, and we are very happy with their entire process. We were let down by two very large companies, but this small company stepped up and went above and beyond to take great care of us. When our heater started going out, I had 4 companies come to my house for bids. Three of them were the larger companies advertised on TV, and Ideal Temp was recommended by Angie's List. When Matt came, he was very thorough in going over what his company would offer. He took almost an hour to sit down and discuss options. Matt offers "apples to apples" with other company's bids, and he is true to his word. His customer service has been exemplary, and he is quick to respond to questions or concerns. I know there are larger companies out there, but Matt's prices were more competitive compared to their "standard pricing", and he gets to know you personally. Matt was more than willing to go the extra mile and treat us as a friend, not just another customer. I would highly recommend giving this company an opportunity to bid a job for you if looking for a replacement. I was given Ideal Temp Heating and Cooling phone number. I called and spoke with Matt and explained my problem with my A/C unit. I told him I had a Bob Hamilton tech out yesterday (May 31, 2018) that I waited several days just to get a tech here. When that tech came to my house he looked at my unit said in neede to purchase a new unit and then left and my A/C still didn't work Matt said that he was very busy but would come by today (June 1, 2018). Matt was here by 3:00 pm fixed my A/C unit quickly today is the hottest day. My house was over 90 degrees when he got here. Matt worked quickly on my unit made the repairs to my unit. Matt with Ideal Temp was extremely knowledgeable and provided input that we had not heard from other HVAC companies. Matt and his team were very professional and courteous during the install of the AC and furnace system. I was impressed with the information he had regarding issues with our existing system that we were not aware of. He showed confidence in his approach how he would do things to resolve the way our system was miss-configured. He explained each concern and how he would resolve in detail. Matt & Company did a fabulous job from start to finish! A coupe of weeks ago they installed a Brand New Bryant Evolution System plus Duct work in my home. Needed someone to look at our AC unit and called them on a Saturday. They were out the same day and diagnosed the problem. They offered several options and left it up to us to decide. They gave us a written estimate that same day too. We ended up getting a brand new AC unit and they installed first thing Monday morning.
