Extremely unprofessional. I have never had such a bad spa experience in my life. The people running this business are extremely unprofessional. The service that they offer is not a hydra facial. I have never had such a bad experience at a spa in my life. The people running this business are incredibly unprofessional. Firstly, the day before my booked appointment, they texted me at midnight and told me my appointment was no longer available. So, I called the next day to reschedule and they told me to make sure to come 15 minutes before my appointment to fill out paper work. I ended up arriving half an hour early, but when I walked into the business to get my paperwork, they told me to wait outside. Eventually they came to get me and I filled out the paperwork in a timely manner before my booked time. Even though I was finished, I still had to wait another 25 minutes for them to start my treatment. Secondly, they informed me that the treatment that they are selling on Groupon is not actually as advertised and that I wouldn't be getting the full treatment that I expected to receive. (This is not stated anywhere on their Groupon ad.) Thirdly, throughout my treatment the guy left the door open so people walking by could look in and see me getting a facial!! Unbelievable! I felt incredibly uncomfortable with this, and to make matters worse, the guy was speaking to one of his associates in another language the whole time while she was in the other room. A few times she even popped into the room I was in to continue their chat; all the while I was laying there getting my facial... Other annoying things that happen include that he attempted to wipe my makeup off with a paper towel (which he did so unsuccessfully), and he didn't even touch my nose during the whole treatment, which was the area that needed the most attention! I've had hydrafacials from other spas before and what he did was Nothing like those facials. I don't know what kind of crap he put on my face, but it wasn't right. After the treatment was over, he asked me when I would like to come in for the second facial, and I told him I would not be returning after learning how unprofessional they are. I purchased a Groupon for a "hydrafacial" for $49, advertising that this was 59% off the original price. Upon arrival, this place, a few days after their "grand opening", made me feel as though I was getting a hydrafacial in a friend's basement or a closing down clinic. I can understand that they had just opened, but as a professional in the beauty industry, I would expect a facility offering licensed skincare and facial treatments to be prepared before they opened. When I arrived the "doctor" took me into his messy office and explained to me that what I had purchased on Groupon was a "basic" hydrafacial, and that I would have to pay an additional $65 if I wanted to receive the full treatment. Right away I felt intimidated, pressured and uncomfortable. Nothing was noted in the Groupon that this did not include a full hydrafacial. I pointed this out and the doctor responded "yes, it does not say this in the Groupon, the Groupon is for the cheap stuff." As I sat in the waiting room waiting to begin, the doctor could be heard loudly talking down to his receptionist, speaking to her in a way that made her and me visibly uncomfortable. (The receptionist was the only redeeming part of this place as she was sweet and cheerful.) The treatment itself lasted no more than 15 minutes and was extremely uncomfortable. I entered a room and was told to place my bag on a table that had a skincare or laser device right next to it. I was rushed to sit down before I had removed my jacket. No hair band was applied. During the treatment the doctor mentioned that my "skin issues" such as my freckles (i do not see this is an issue and I am a person that works in skin care and up close and personal with clients faces) might be made to look more pronounced after the treatment. He performed suction and then an acid peel that lasted no more than 45 seconds and was not applied evenly to the face. When he had finished, I noticed that the "Hydrafacial" machine was pushed off in a corner of the room. I'm not sure that he even used it in the four step process that he performed. No extractions were performed and at the end of the service he did not say anything to me other than "okay we are finished" before rushing out of the room and into his office to answer his ringing cellphone. I was deeply disturbed by this experience, from a customer service perspective, but also considering that this man is offering a patented service, and performing something else. There were too many things that were offputing to include them all in this review. Leaving a terrible and uncomfortable experience feeling ripped off, uncomfortable, and upset. Update: one month later I received a call from Ideal Skin, from a lady who I had never spoken to before. She offered me an apology and asked what they could do to rectify the situation, offering me a refund. I said I would certainly like a refund, and she said absolutely, I will speak to Dr. Asgari and I will figure out how to give you a refund. I have not heard from them since and this was about two weeks ago. The friend that I went with also received a voicemail, and when she called back, Dr. Asgari was abrupt and unfriendly and claimed he had no idea what she was talking about and that he could not help her. Update: Ideal Skin has refunded me the amount that I paid for the groupon via e transfer. Good to know that they are listening to customer reviews. read more

Ideal Skin is a liar. I went there for laser hair removal and the owner Kamran told me my hair was treatable and I went through 9 sessions on my underarms. With no results I went to Ideal Image in langley and they informed me my hair is not treatable because it is blonde and any place that told me it was is lying to me and stealing my money. I confirmed this by going to multiple other laser hair removal places.I went back to Ideal skin and Kamran refused to give me a refund. Finally he agreed to give me only $240 back but at the end of September because it would mess their accountant up if they gave me the refund right then and there (which makes no sense) I called today and Kamran pretended he wasn't the owner (he doesn't have any employees, its just him and he has a very distinct accent and voice) and hung up on me 3 times. He won't answer the phone now and I am certain I will not be getting my money back. My mother and I spent a lot of money at Ideal skin and neither of us have had ANY results. Don't go here!!! I've been getting PRP at ideal skin for more than a year, and am extremely satisfied. The laser technicians are very good, and there is a doctor at the centre who will exam your skin and advice you which procedure can help you . I recommend this clinic to whom respect their skin. read more

Mitra did my laser hair removal. I would %100 recommend this treatment at Ideal Skin Laser center. everyone in this center was welcoming, warm and full of knowledge. I have done 2 treatments and am very happy. I will do another 3 for best results.The procedure can be a bit uncomfortable but not bad. Mitra is always checking in with you to see how your doing and the whole thing goes by so quick. She is very experienced and really cares about her work and you. I went to Ideal Skin for laser hair removal 10 month ago.At that time they were in Port Moody. They moved to Austin Ave. in Coquitlam 3 month ago.They were upfront on how Laser hair Removal would work on me and after I had gone through multiple treatments and was at 95%, I was told that I could have another treatment, but it may not permanently remove the very little hair I have left. I was appreciative of the honesty and glad to have saved some money. The tech who treated me, was fantastic. Really kind and helpful. And the Dr who signed off on my treatments was very good as well.
