While I do prefer the Winter Park location (as it is also near some other eateries and shopping areas), this location is the one nearest to my home. It is located off a busy thoroughway, so it does get a little tricky to get here at times. There's a good amount of parking. It does, like most of their locations, get pretty busy, but for the most part, you can usually always find parking. The staff is kind and helpful (when and if needed). The food options/varieties are great! As with their other locations, they offer various cuisine types for just about everyone. This is also inclusive of their dining options (i.e., their hot and cold bars, bakery, and the like). They have a range of household items, personal care items, toiletries, groceries, and so forth. So, again, you can usually find most of what you need. As far as their dining options go, I've gotten a hot lunch from Whole Foods on numerous occasions. I never eat there, but you can if you'd like, as they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy your meal. I'm usually not disappointed with the options. I also really enjoy a number of their soup options. The bakery is probably my favorite section! I'm always leaving Whole Foods with something sweet. Nonetheless, Whole Foods is a great shopping experience. Again, they are pricey and are usually pretty busy, but it's usually always worth it.

I liked the layout, with the deli located to the right as you enter. Everything was organized and easy to find, even though the store was arranged differently from the other Publix locations I've visited. This was actually one of the smallest Publix stores I've been to, but it still had everything I needed. I found some steak at a great price and picked up wild oysters that were on sale in the seafood department. The service was fast and friendly. This Publix does not have self-checkout, but the checkout process was still pretty quick. Overall, it carries the same items as any other Publix and is a good location to shop.

However, they have truly embraced the times and stepped up to coordinate one of the most seamless order pick ups with far more options than they can normally house in their store location in collaboration with their local farm suppliers. It was a really great way to get access to local food in a time when innovation is most appreciated as is the ability to access fresh food when the normal grocery stores are overwhelmed with visitors. I will definitely continue to support this great local business that has made things easier in a time when many things are harder. Edit: apparently the store front has closed (unrelatedly- they announced this coming change on January 8th due to a failed lease renewal) but the business is still running through their pick up at 8505 Silver Star Rd and online ordering. The system was actually designed prior to these times and just happened to line up perfectly). This family run business is passionate about improving access to locally grown and more organic foods, and they have done an amazing job.

From all the different quality products, the amazing customer service, and the overall environment... it's always a great experience. I feel like the staff really create an environment where customers feel they can ask questions and really get an educated response from the staff. Ms. Deb took time with me, and several other customers, to explain the uses, benefits, and research behind many of the products. During my first visit, there was a teacher, a nurse, and another lady that were all having a discussion with Ms. Deb about a few of the Health Food store's products for immune support and healthy hygiene products. Not only was Ms. Deb able to answer with informed information, but she also knew about the vender's themselves. I was very impressed, I'm pretty sure we all were. If I were a vender, this would be a place I would be proud to have my products on the shelf of, because I can tell they believe in what they sell. Now, before ordering off of Amazon or going to Publix or Walmart, I check to see if the Health Food store has the product first. Not only do they normally have it, they have different quality options and some from local suppliers. I bought some delicious honey and several products I didn't expect to find under same roof... such as pure hair and skin oils like Moroccan oil and sunflower oil. They have such a large assortment, and there is so much to explore. It is basically a more scaled down version of Whole Foods that offers more organic and specialty foods than your typical grocery store. So, instead of only being able to get regular ground coffee, you can buy slightly more expensive organic and ethically sourced coffee for instance. My only gripe with this location is that it is near the dreaded Sand Lake intersection, which is messed up no matter what time of day it is. I think I would be open to shopping here more if it was in an easier to navigate shopping plaza.

They also have lots of ready to eat and ready to cook meals. Their frozen food sections, I found some frozen soup dumplings, they have a variety of all kind of frozen food that I would like to try. I also found some specialty sofrito /hispanic condiments that I could only order online, and they do have them, so I can buy them directly now. I like the ambiance of the place, all relax, enough space to walk around, it reminded me of Whole Foods. Sprouts is still pricey for me and my budget, but I'm willing to try more with coupons and sales as they come. I'm in and out in no time, I like that. Service has been impeccable. I recommend it
